I was looking for a used Nissan recently, and Billion in Sioux City was my first stop. I had a specific list of features I needed, and found what I thought... was a good match. I left the lot without purchasing since I knew I would probably do some comparison shopping. A couple days later I called the salesman (he had my name and number, yet never followed up with me), and he indicated he could come down in price by just $500 . . no more, he said, as this was the lowest they could go. I continued my search, thinking I could find a better price somewhere. My research was thorough and included calls to dealers in seven other communities which covered three states. What I found was the exact same car at another Nissan dealership (not a Billion one), with 14,000 fewer miles and $3,000 less in price. . ..same features and inside/outside colors, too. This dealership was kind enough to hold the car for me for a week until I could get there. The customer service and enthusiasm to get my business was outstanding and far better than what I received at Billion Nissan in Sioux City. Side note: One month later, I was curious to see if the original car at Billion in SC was still in the lot. . .it was, and the price was reduced by another $1,000. Maybe the "take it or leave it" attitude will work on the next buyer. . . .don't underestimate the power of research and persistence, especially your female customers.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our dealership. This is information that management needs to see and I will make sure they do. It soun...ds like you got a great deal on your Nissan!
