AVOID this "service" center at any cost. Unacceptable customer service and SHADY PRACTICES. Can you a trust a service center, where instead of adding... 3750 miles to your next oil change (severe conditions for Sonata), they add 3000 miles and put a sticker with the wrong miles on your windshield and the same wrong miles into your vehicle computer? And I was not informed what miles they calculate for the next oil change. When I noticed the "miscalculation" on 2 of my cars and asked why, I was expecting just to be informed that there was a mistake - Nooo, I got the most unreasonable answer ever - they intentionally deduct 750 miles, so you "could have time to schedule an oil change". The more I think about this reason, the more insane and unacceptable it looks like. I had previous negative experience with this service, like employees not treating me with the necessary respect and like refusing to repair a steering wheel on a car with only 1k miles, just because the noise coming from it in their opinion was normal ....the same normal noise was fixed in another Hyundai service. Still, I was going to this service center because of its location and proximity to my home. But this thing with the miles to next oil change just amazed me how ignorant these people are, and just raised a red flag how unethical their service is and how it is extremely far from any acceptable business practices. Actually, that they could do anything with your car, and that I should never trust them with any of my cars. If they trick you to change oil more frequently by doing it in so obvious way....imagine what they could be doing (like materials and work on your vehicle) that could not be seen and verified by you easily.
Worst experience ever, Bought a brand new car that had scratches but they said they'll buff out. Took it there 6 times and they where still there. They... said they'll replace with new car but they don't hold up to there saying...
I bought my new Santa Fe over the weekend and had a great experience. Form the moment I walked in the door I knew I was leaving with a car. Dustin was... an incredible sales person. Had all answers to my questions. The management was awesome as well. The process of buying a car wasn’t horrible at all.
Went in a while back and bought a new car for my wife. Made sure to get a warranty on the tires and rims of the vehicle and ensured it was processed correctly... on that day. Fast forward 2 months and she hits a pothole blowing the tire. We have the vehicle towed to the dealership where we are told we did not have the correct coverage. After digging into the dealership and the parent company, I was told the original paperwork was lost and the coverage they had listed is what I would receive. The morality and ethics of this dealership are awful. I am trading the vehicle in way too soon just to be rid of this horrid company.
VICTOR the new SERVICE MANAGER is the BEST thing to ever happen to the Hyundai dealership in Palatine!! His "'Red Carpet" Service is why I will continue... to come to the Dealership for service .
Second car purchase. I needed a car on a budget and as soon as possible. Burim, and his GM helped work with us on a price and we were able to purchase... there and then. Eric in financing was knowledgeable and informative. The overall experience was great. Would purchase again. Would highly recommend.
The sales person Terell and the finance person Justin were great however the car buying experience made me want to simply give the car back. I went into... the dealership THREE times and each time I was told I would be paying a different rate. Initially, the rate was on the higher side so as you can imagine I was ecstatic to receive news my payment would be dropping by $160. I then went in to make my payment to ensure it was on time seeing as I have not received any new paperwork. At this time I was advised of ANOTHER change causing my payment to go up again by $107. I have readjusted all my finances to reflect making a lower car payment and it is extremely unprofessional as well as inconsiderate to constantly make changes and this dealership should be ashamed of themselves for constantly playing with an individuals finances. I feel as though I was mislead into getting this car. If I had not gone in to make a payment, who knows when I would have been advised of this change. I wish I could give this car back and deal with a different dealership.
2017 Elantra check Engine light intermittent flashing and car feels like it is going to stall, runs rough. Has been brought To Rosen Hyundai and they can't... find the problem , yet it keeps happening. Called dealership for service/ new set of eyes and have waited 2 weeks for a call to bring in since i need a loaner. Now told , don't bother bringing the car in if check engine light is not on because it is to hard to find! Check engine light flashes and does not stay on. Was told, loaner cars are hard to get. Not interested in taking the time and using resouces to find my problem ! Forget this is a 2017 car with an engine problem,?why should I be mad or concerned I am reminded I have a warranty! Forget that the car does not accelerate when this happens and could get in an accident or stuck on the road one late evening. I have a warranty. This dealership does not want to be bothered! Thanks. Would look for a dealership that cares.
My fiance and I went to Grossinger Hyundai in Palatine this past Monday to purchase a new vehicle. We met sales consultant Burim and was met with great... customer service! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and did not waste our time with a sales man pitch! We knew what we wanted going in, so we worked on a price that was affordable. Burim was more than willing to work hard to get us the best price. After a few hours of processing, paperwork, and a few cups of coffee, we left the dealership with a new car, at an affordable price, and would recommend to anyone looking for a new car!
I bought a car at this dealership many years ago. I decided to stop by today to check out their inventory. As most of us do, I was dreading the thought... of going through the whole process that goes with car shopping. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the new management! Long story short I'm driving a new car today because of their willingness to help meet my needs. It's evident the new management understands the importance of repeat business. I'll definitely go back again for my next car!
