Easy process and experience and no dealer tactics
This is an easy-peazy place to buy. No pressure or tactics, just straight forward discussions and you’re in total control. My sales rep was Julian Parra who is super knowledgeable on everything in the cars buying/selling industry. Nothing but 5 stars. He explains things in several ways to make sure you understand everything. He wants you to have a smooth and enjoyable car buying experience. And better prices than the dealership.
Carlotz exceeded my expectations!
I was more than satisfied with Carlotz and the service exceeded my expectations. This was my first time buying a car from underneath a dealer. Julian stayed inside my price range, I got a beautiful car, and the customer service was amazing. The car was located on a different lot a few hours from my location, and Julian went out of his way to bring the car to a location closer to me. The buying process was 2 hours at most and in that time he answered all of my questions. When I came to pick up the car he sat with me and went over all of the features and was patient in answering all of my questions.
Do not buy here!
This has been a disaster dealing with this dealership. They cannot get my tag. I cannot get a manager to call me back. It also does not seem to be a concern for the dealership on getting my tag. I have been given bad information from the dealership on the status of my tag. I am not contacting the BBB and the NC Attorney General's office to file a complaint.

Recently, I purchased a new to me car from Carlotz in Monroe, NC. I contacted Carlotz and discussed the purchase on a Thursday. I let Carlotz know that I would be coming from out of state, about 700 miles to view this car. This dealership was one of the most accommodating, easy to work with dealerships I've ever had the pleasure to work with. I was able to get all of the paperwork and documentation completed over the phone and picked the car up that Saturday! We were in and out in about 30 minutes (most of which I spent ogling the rest of the cars in the showroom!) The staff at this location are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I have purchased many cars over the years and can attest, this was one of the most painless transactions I've made. The car we ended up with had a small issue on the way home. I discovered a water pump leak that wasn't readily apparent until you drove on the highway for a fair amount of time. I absolutely couldn't believe the positive response from Jason and the team at Carlotz. Even though I live 700 miles away from them, they jumped through hoops to ensure they would take care of this for me locally. Thank you Jason and the team at Carlotz Monroe! ***05/11 UPDATE As noted above, I had a small issue with the car. When I wrote the review above I had been assured multiple times by Jason that my issue would be handled promptly. Jason asked me to obtain an estimate for repair and email it to him. I suspected as the issue is something that is called out as covered on their 30 day warranty, I would have no issue here. I have emailed the invoice to Jason twice. Initially after I arrived home from our trip I called Jason and he asked me to obtain an estmate for repair and email it to him. I emailed Jason on 04/12/22 and did not get a reply. I asked for a status update via email on 04/19 and was asked to re-email it copying the GM Haslyn Parris. I emailed Haslyn Parris and Jason a copy. I did not hear back from them and asked for another update on 04/26. Jason asked me to email the quote again and I did so on 04/26. I asked for another update on 05/04 and received no communication. Today is 05/11 and I've been on hold for 25 minutes waiting to speak with someone. Carlotz has really let me down here. I have also not received my paperwork to obtain license plates. I inquired about this on my email to Jason on 05/04 and havne't heard anything. My temp tags have expired and I have no resolution on this. I will update again once I have some resolution.

The staff member Heather that contacted me was very professional and not pushy trying to get me to buy a car. She asked me what I was looking for and has sent me emails with SUV’s that match my needs. I’m still looking and appreciate her checking in with cars for me to review.
I will recommend this car lot
This was the most easy going comfortable dealership ihave ever been on. My salesman Jason made it relaxing and easy for me. I traded my car for suv . It was fast I got a good deal . They ask what I was looking for , what type of payment I wanted and they listen to me. Because I walk out very satisfied and without a long process. I have already told other people about Carlotz in monroe.

This was the most laid back experience I have had buying a car! The salesmen don't work on commission so I truly got to look and drive what I wanted and the process was fun and easy! Great place to by a car from great people!
