Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte Hours
The incompetence of this dealership is scary. Where do I start? So, there was a recall on my car (well the 4th recall in this car since 2014) and I brought... it in to have it inspected late 2019. Everything came back clear and I was relieved. The recall was so bad that I had 2 friends have the recall and they must replace the engine. Fast forward to two weeks ago. My engine blows up…surprise this dealer missed the recall in my car. After 2 days of no car, they get me a rental. 2 days later they get the replacement approved. I mention to them that over the years I have brought the car in (4 times) for a popping noise in the frontend. He says they looked at it and it is a tie rod and strut had gone bad. I mention that I have brought this car in several times and they said there is nothing in their system and that it would not be covered. They even gave me rental cars each time I brought it in. I even had them check the car out when they inspected it for the recall…no notes in the system. The old service manager that I worked with over the year (who was awesome) is no longer there. Kia is a terrible brand and this dealer does not help…

Went here to look at a used car that I saw online. I had emailed the dealer and was working with someone but didn’t make an appointment for when I finally... went in. When I went boy was I taken aback by this dealership... and not in a good way. The place was pretty dirty when I entered and no one greeted me for the longest time. Finally when I met with the person I had been emailing he talked about how he didn’t actually like the car I came to look at and that he liked the Kia Stinger better. He also told me how someone else had really wanted the car I came to look at but they didn’t have the credit to make it work. I found that to be really unprofessional. Finally I asked if I could see the car to which I was told to wait and they would bring the car around. Well I wait a while and then I walked around the inside of the dealership and then the salesman came back and told me the car had a dead battery and that he couldn’t pull it around but I could still walk out and see it. So I went out and they had a box there to jump the car but had given up on trying to boost it because the battery was in the trunk. Their service guy they had called over and was trying to crawl into the trunk to get to the batter. It is at that point that I opened the hood and boosted the car myself. Yes, they had a service technician that didn’t know how to use the jumper port under the hood. But seeing the service guy crawl through the truck was useful as it brought to my attention that the rear window had a massive crack in it. After seeing the crack, boosting the car myself and noticing how this vehicle that I had looked at for about a week online had not been cleaned I decided to leave at that point. To the dealerships credit I will say they made no attempt to stop or dissuade me from leaving. Definitely not a business I will go back too.
I am a former Ford person. I have had recent terrible experiences with Ford. I purchased a 2017 Kia Forte LX, last month. I recently had my new used car... serviced at Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte. Now, I am happy to be a Kia person. I would recommend to anybody to buy Kia. Great experience!

Had my first service for a flat tire and recalled part after buying a new Stinger from Dutch Miller Kia in January. Service and sales personnel are always... friendly and service visit was one of my best experiences with a dealership service department.

I am very happy with Kia my Soul rides beautiful that was the best choice I have made. and the repair service was on point did not know what was wrong... with my tire and he showed me the error and within no time it was fixed
I’ve been trying to get my car worked on since November when my car was under 60000 miles which would be covered under my factory warranty. Here it is... Jan 9 and they had my car since the 7th of Jan and they still haven’t contacted me telling me anything. That’s my only means of transportation and I explained to them that I need my car to get back and forth to work. It’s been two days and every time I call to find out what’s going on they say I haven’t heard back from the manufacturer.. it’s so bad it’s ridiculous
