I NEVER write reviews but i'm blown away by just how bad my experience with Westchester Subaru was. I dropped my car off at Subaru on 10/2 after having... electrical issues. A week goes by, I call and get an update that the engine wire harness needs to be replaced...ok...so then another week later I get a call that the car is all set, ready to go. I made sure to ask the question "Are you sure everything is fixed? Was it taken on a test drive? I was assured it was in fact taken for a test drive and running fine. So I get a ride 45 minutes to the dealership to pick it up on 10/13...I pay the $1,500+ and the service manager brings my car around - pulls me to the side and then tells me that the check engine light is still on and the engine is not running right so he cancels my transaction and insists on needing to keep my car. I've already been taking an Uber to and from work spending hundreds of dollars so the fact that now I have to go even longer...painful. Another week goes by, I call and check in...still no update on what’s wrong...and then finally I get a call on the 24th that the car is ready and the issue was that one of the connectors in the new wire harness was not seeded correctly...Subaru's mistake but the service manager assures me that 3 different people have taken it on 15-20 minute test drives so it really is fine. I go in today 10/26 I ask the service manager if there is anything he can do for me since now it’s been 23 days since I’ve been without a car and I've spent an absurd amount of money to get around in the meantime and the additional...He offers to take $50 off. I asked again politely if there is anything more that he can do - he tells it’s a valid question and agrees to take $100 off. He then gives me the keys to my car and tells me the gas light is on and refers me to the closest gas station. While I know I only gave my car to them with 1/4 gas - they actually returned it to me after multiple people took it on extensive test drives - with literally NO GAS. I will never take my car back to Westchester Subaru. I work in customer service and I’m absolutely disgusted by this experience.

Time is a valuable commodity and it is never our intention to waste it. It sounds like we did just that during your visit and I apologize. The scope of the work involved certainly would require a longer visit than a standard service however it seems our communication was lacking and perhaps the explanation of what was performed may not have been reviewed properly. Run from this Service Center as fast as you can! If I could give the service center 5 negative stars I would. I brought my Subaru Forester in for the... airbag recall. I have been to the back to the service center three times in less than two weeks. The first two times the pillar panels in the front became loose and came off, after trying to fix it the second time, they broke the air vent on the passenger side. The problems are still not fixed. I love my Subaru it's never given my one minute of mechanical problems in 10 years, one visit to Westchester Subaru and it looks like crap. I was going to replace my current car just because I wanted the new bells and whistles. Now I'm sure I will not get another Subaru, because the service is unbelievably incompetent.

I NEVER write reviews but after my experience today at Westchester Subaru, I feel compelled to do so. My daughter just leased a car there and I was along... to co-sign with my wife. The financial person was so rude and passive-aggressive, I walked out and let my wife and daughter do the deal as it was my daughter???s car. If it was up to me, I would???ve left with no car.

We just purchased our second Subaru from Julian Gill at Westchester Subaru (we've owned 3 total). He's a gentleman and a true professional. First, we... looked at the inventory on their easy-to-use website, which includes prices. Called Julian and he guided us thru the options. He does all the work for you! Our new Forester was ready at specified time and we had a positive experience with their finance professional. A great car from a great sales associate at a great dealership, and at a very reasonable price. In addition, I've been using their service department for about 20 years. It too, is run very professionally.

My wife and I needed a new car fast and the entire experience that my wife and I had purchasing a new Subaru at Westchester Subaru was very smooth and... easy. Jeremy A. was great and he put me in immediate contact with Oliver B. I negotiated a fair and good price with Oliver over the phone. He set up for Evrol to meet me at the service department with a car (I had to bring my car in for a service) and he helped transfer my entire family over to the showroom. He was very kind/thoughtful and efficient. He was in constant communication with me during the entire process. Everyone at the showroom had a big smile on their face and were very accommodating to my entire family. Lastly, my entire purchasing experience was topped off when I met with Demitri (he is the finance manager). He was patient with us while we discussed our options. He was relatable and easy to communicate with. Before leaving, Evrol went over the entire car with us and explained the warranties. He even gave us a follow up phone call the next day. My wife and I would highly recommend you purchasing your next Subaru at Westchester Subaru. The prices were great and the experience was fantastic.

I went to Westchester Subaru to Purchase a new Imprezza. Everybody I interacted with was pleasant and professional. The receptionist introduced me to Oliver... the manager who greeted me with an upbeat attitude and introduced me to Carly Ma, the salesperson who would help me. She was wonderful. She helped me pick out a color (crimson pearl) and showed me the different financing options. The next day when I went to pick up the car she took the time to show me how to link my phone with the cars computer. It was very helpful as I am not too technically savvy. I would reccomend Westchester Subaru as a dealer and especially Carly as a salesperson.

Dear Carly, Sales Associate, Some words of advice: 1. When you ask the client how her holiday was and she politely responds, "It was lovely. How was yours?"... please do not go on to describe your search for lingerie at Lord and Taylor and Victoria's Secret. 2. And don't follow that tale with a long-winded one about your discovery of Shake Shack when looking for VS and ask the client if she thinks SmashBurger is better. 3. When given a specific VIN # for the car the client wants to test drive, don't say, "I'll go get it," and then bring around a different car. 4. When the client asks why this isn't the car she wants to drive, don't make up a lie on the spot about how it's sold, or sorry, no, it's just unavailable right now. 5. When client repeats for the 5th time in your encounter that she is here to simply drive a base model, do not respond with, "But I just wanted you to see how comfortable this one is. It's basically the same thing." 6. If the client insists (AGAIN) for what was promised and you say, "Well, we'll need to set up another appointment if that's what you want to do," don't be so surprised when the client leaves abruptly saying, "This is not working out. I am going home now." 7. Finally, after an encounter like this, do not send a cheery email 30 minutes later letting the client know that it was a pleasure working with her and you're always at her service.
