So where do I begin. Back in August I got my Santa Fe my fiancé and Neil were going back and fort and finally I got the car for what price I wanted. Now let’s fast forward to January 2020 when my fiancé test drove the new palisade limited and loved it. Once again we went to Neil because he did the right thing for me, not this time around. My fiancé and Neil were going back and fort on the price and they were not coming to an agreement until Neil xxxxxxxx him that he will call him once he speak to his manager to give him my loyalty and four discounts on the car to keep him in the price range he wanted to pay. Well he never called him back so that following Tuesday night we went back to the dealership to see what’s going on. Neil said he can’t do any deal with him now because in February the programs will change and looked him in the eye and promised him he will be getting the car that Saturday February 1st. My fiancé wanted to give him a $500 deposits to hold the car and Neil like he can’t take the money because he can’t make the deal until February 1st. Neil told my fiancé that they will detail the car on Friday and he can pick up the car Saturday and it’s car. Saturday comes and Neil text my fiancé at 11:30 and we were supposed to get the truck at 12 to not come in because the car not there. We drive down to the dealership to find out from Neil they sold both white on black palisade. I will never be getting another car from bay ridge Hyundai. They are absolutely horrible and Neil xxxxxxxx my fiancé the whole time. The staff at bay ridge Hyundai are horrible.
Horrible experience with rude and inadequate staff. New leased car is in the garage without registration after 45 days. Called multiple times. Either get... hangup on or get redirected to a full voicemail box.. Escalating it to Hyundai and BBB. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They are bunch of liars.
After owning a car for 8 years, it was finally time to buy a new one. My sister has a Hyundai and I knew I wanted something similar. The salesman, Julio,... was wonderful from the start. At first I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but Julio was so patient and was able to make the process easier by explaining the pros and cons of each car based on what I wanted. I walked out of the dealership that night with a new Hyundai elantra limited and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Normally I don't write reviews but thanks to Julio and the staff at this facility, I knew I had to say thank you and recommend others as well.
I had a 2010 Chevy Cobalt, within 2 yrs, i was sent a letter to have a new engine put in (recall) few yrs. later went to Bay Ridge Chevrolet and told... Millie who was the manager i guess something is wrong with my engine. Gave it to her top mechanic as she told me. Called me and said it was the throttle body cost $749. or so. Signed for the release of my car and had the same trouble bucking and stalling. Brought it back mechanic said i need a new computer. $400 and change. Crooks, went to a mechanic friend of mine he said if it was the throttle body the car would run perfect. NO money back and sold the car for$500. Thanks for the rip off Guys. The old Bay Ridge Chevy owner sold it to another owner Bay Ridge Chevy.
This is an unethical dealership that is poorly managed. They are doing damage to the brand! They run bait and switch schemes with poorly informed salespeople.
This place is very unprofessional.. they need a whole new staff will never go there again feont desk clerk is very rude . They give you a price then when... ready to proceed they change it all around to much games.
This past is bad the owners and managers are rude no type of customer service at all. The front desk girl is very unprofessional.
I unfortunately leased a Palisade from these thieves There was a hidden Surcharge for $6000. for the pleasure of leasing this vehicle. Neither the sales... man Chris nor the Financial person disclosed. and to add injury to insult Huyandi USA cant do anything about it other then to tell me to contact the state attorney Generals office and report the fraud MY advice RUN FAst do Not deal with this kind of practice I used them because close to work I will NEVER get a Huyandi in the future even if Free Angelo Magno MD feel free to contact me
My husband has deleted his review at your request- however, I am not as nice as him. If you are looking for your worst nightmare in a dealership then... this is the place for you. They claim there’s a manager there named Brian but I’m pretty he doesn’t exist since I’ve never be able to get him on the phone or get a call back. This has been our worst experience ever when buying a used car. Purchased a used 2016 maxima on Sunday 9/1, 5 minutes after driving off the lot a light came on. After googling it we figure out it’s the emergency brake sensor and when the light comes on it means the system is unavailable, what it also says a faulty sensor can cause the car to stop while driving for no reason-GREAT. So now I refuse to put my kids in this car. My husband now reaches out to her salesman who pretends that he is going to help with the matter. After 3 days of getting no where he tells him to bring the car to Nissan to see what’s wrong with it and they will fix it. 150$ later to have the diagnostics ran they tell us it’s the sensor and it’s 1500$..so the salesman says to bring the car back and they’ll fix it.. oh and also promises the 150$ back that we paid to Nissan. So that following Monday my husband brings the car in.. 5 DAYS LATER we get the car back saying it was fixed but wouldn’t provide a receipt.. and after 5 minutes of driving the light came back on so I called there and a woman gave me the info for where the car was serviced (they don’t have a service center) only to find out this “service center” has no record of ever having the car.. so basically the car was probably parked on 4th ave for 5 days while they pretended to do something. It’s ALL A SCAM. I have now been calling for days with no answer. They won’t even take calls from the dealership my car is being serviced at. 3 weeks of having this car and it’s been back and forth in service for 2 weeks and they won’t even take calls from their own warranty company that needs documents to give the approval to fix the car.The girls there are trained to lie and say they aren’t there then 2 min later say they are in a meeting. Taking this matter to the better business and Mr. Ignazio Giuffre, cooperate, 7 on my side and anyone else who wants to hear about this awful experience. No clue how this place is still open but I promise to do everything in my power to make sure everyone knows about the TERRIBLE service here.
I’m usually not the type to write a review and definitely not a negative one but this one is necessary and a MUST-READ. On August 15 my wife and I decided... upon an SUV from Bay Ridge Hyundai as we we’re offered a great deal within our budget. After agreeing on a price and did all the paperwork l, Bay Ridge Hyundai told to us that the car was being driven in from Staten Island and that we would have to wait until it had arrived on premises. -In the meantime they told me to get the insurance on the new vehicle and call my wife with the existing vehicle we currently own so we can swap the plates;my wife made the 20 minute trip to the dealership with my 3 kids in the car. My family and I patiently waited for our new car to arrive to the dealership.A while later and we still hadn’t received our car nor any information regarding it when asked about the car they told that it’s one the way and there might be traffic. My family started getting pretty annoyed as you can imagine a family of 5 all waiting for our car we were promised and it was already 9 pm- 5 hours later! The salesman told me that due to late time maybe it’s better we come back in the morning. The next morning I drove in alone as I didn’t want to bring my family before I make the car is there. After arriving at the dealership I was greeted with some frustrating news: the car has mistakenly been SOLD! I had asked them if they had another SUV and to my dismay their answer was NO and I left. 3 weeks later at 8 pm the Bay ridge Hyundai called me again asking of me if I am still interested in the deal they had offered me a while back. Of course I was glad they called and said definitely! Following a conversation of verifying all the nitty gritty details making sure everything in this deal would be the same as the previous deal I was ready to close the deal again. The salesman explained that I would not be able to close this deal and it isn’t guaranteed unless I pick up the car that evening. I obviously didn’t want to lose this deal again and explained to my wife that although it is late I have to drive to the dealership and pick up the car. As I was about to leave my house, the salesman asked to put me on a brief hold to ask his manager a question, already one foot out the door the salesman told me that I can come in to the dealership the next morning if I agreed they charge the deposit on my credit card; I agreed. The next morning I came in the SUV was there. We went through the whole deal again they presented the deal sheet and had me sign it. Based on the sheet I agreed for them to ran my credit, and transferred my insurance, inspected the car. 4 hours later,,, as I was waiting to drive the car off the lot I was told that the finance manager would need to see me again. Entering his office he went over the deal with me and SHOCKINGLY presented a new deal sheet with different figures than the one we had agreed and that I signed. Please note, I had been at the dealership with my family for 5 hours the time before. I cannot express enough how frustrated how upset and aggravated my family and I were. I feel completely scammed. They intentionally make you wait for hours upon hours. They ran a involuntarily credit check of a fake deal sheet. They had wasted so much of my time. They had promised me a deal then tried to switch it thinking I would agree because everything was already done and I invested so much time. They are unethical in their business. This review strongly encourages other people who are honest individuals just like I am to not involve themselves with Bay Ridge Hyundai ever as they have caused me tremendous aggravation, frustration, and wasted my time. I look forward to never do business with Hyundai again.
