I came to Car Mania in hopes of getting financed with my not so good credit. I preferred a Lexus or Infiniti however I did not think I would get much options... with my low credit score. Ricardo was able to use my secure length of employment and average stable income to get my loan approved and an affordable car payment with the exact car I wanted. My credit score has gone up significantly thanks to my auto loan. Thank you soooo much Mona & Ricardo for helping me find my vehicle.
I used the Cars.com app to contact the CarMania dealer with a car I was interested in, and they called me less than an hour after that with really helpful... information. I am not in California, but I put them on my list of dealers to visit but I bought the car I wanted from another Cars.com dealer closer to home.
Worst experience I had in a "dealership ". I came looking for a vehicle, ran my numbers, but then once the test drive came. I noticed the car had it's... sensors on. I asked the sales guy if they can do anything about it and he said yea or will give you a written note once you signed off on it. I was like, how would you even try selling a vehicle with check engine, pressure tires, brake lights on?... But then I met with Ricardo. That guy will try and give you the worst deal. Claims he works "very hard" to give you the best possible fianance loan but that's where they get you. The guy was going off on me because I was being a smart customer and because I was arguing why he was giving me such a high apr rate when my credit was good. The guy was obviously upset from the start because be was arguing about him fixing the issues the vehicle had. Claims he would not do anything about some of the issues it had. So then how the hell is he trying to get me to sign this off when he is already saying he would not fix the problems but earlier he had said he would. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ricardo does not know how to treat customers with respect or how to handle proper negotiations.
