Great Service Department
I bought my 2016 Ford F-150 form Larry Miller Used Cars in Boise and it was a good buying experience. I felt like I received a fair price on the truck. The service after the sale has been excellent. I am usually wary of dealerships for service, but Don the Service Manager is great to work with. He is professional and his staff has done great work on my truck. I now go to them exclusively for maintenance and would recommend them to others for the same.

Best day turned worst day, 2013 Ford F-150
Don’t Go To Larry H. Miller to buy a car. This review is also a confession of being a stupid consumer-I see that now, so hopefully by sharing my lessons learned, it will save others from having the hard and expensive interactions with LHM. I waited over a week to leave this review, I really did want to give it 5 stars and 2 thumbs up, but each day since the purchase, I just keep finding out how badly I messed up by going to LHM. I really liked the guys working with me and helping me out, which is why I wanted to give it 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs Up. But I can’t. One positive...I do love the truck, which is good because I’m stuck with it. I don’t like feeling like a fool or taken advantage of, who does? I was trusting and caught up in excitement, I’ve been wanting a truck for over 10 years! What have I learned since I bought my truck a week ago? I overpaid by at least $7000, yup, seven grand overpriced-not only told this but shown it by other dealers. Which is especially hard to swallow as the night I brought my truck home, learned that my spouse had a significant change in income situation and the future is a bit uncertain. But LHM didn’t / doesn’t care about that either. Hard and expensive lessons I’m learning. Also learned that the “replacement parts” in the engine are aftermarket and used. I tried calling the GM four times and left messages. I called and spoke with my salesmen who basically told me I was SOL and LHM couldn’t let me buy my trader car back because they sold the truck to me for too much money. They knew the truck was way overpriced so of course they would not buy it back. And, if they would have let me sale the truck back to them, I’d be paying about $10 grand off of a car loan for a truck I no longer owned. Fun to learn that lessen in less than 24 hours after purchase. Learned this about hour 17 after purchase. Sure they got their commission on this sale off of me. But never again. I will never go there or recommend LHM to anyone. I have had several friends relate negative experiences they have had with LHM too, wish I would have known. 4 Lessons: 1-Seriously overpriced. I’m wishing I would have gone to at least 2 other dealers that have been more helpful than LHM has been since buying the truck. 2-LHM only cares about you when your buying. Once you sign the line, they don’t care about you or your experience. 3-Even though I love the truck, it is hard to enjoy it right now because of all the grossness of the sale. I drove off the lot already upside down in a loan with my truck. I wanted this truck and I really believed they (LHM) were giving me the best deal and working miracles to help me out. I wish that was the experience I could have held on to. But, unfortunately, it’s not. 4-I could have found basically this same truck-or even better-at another dealership just down the road, and paid at least $7-9 grand less for a certified pre-owned truck same year, make, model, with all the bells and whistles just not with the smoke and mirrors

I purchased my car from this dealership, my husband purchased a car from this dealership and my father in law purchased a car from this dealership all in the same weekend. We worked with Bill and Chuck and everything was great. Everything has been great and I absolutely would recommend this dealership. In fact, I did! The staff is great. The cars are great. I got a screaming deal on my Civic and everything has been great! I didn't think we'd be able to get my husband into a car due to poor credit but they did everything they could to get him into a car, and it just happened to be the car he wanted! They work with you on prices, down payments, budget, bad credit, etc etc. I couldn't be more impressed!
