"Big city deals with a hometown feel. Experience the difference!"
I did my research and visited many car lots before buying. I chose to buy from Hubler because they had exactly what I was looking for (2015 Nissan Versa... Note), the car was in seemingly good condition (thorough test drive), and the sales associates were very down to earth and kind. I've owned the car for 2 MONTHS and I've had to have it looked at 3 TIMES for 3 DIFFERENT PROBLEMS. First, as I was literally driving off the lot, it was making a concerning noise. They had it looked at and told me there was a problem with the hood latch. They fixed it. This was at the same time they were installing a new battery because they told me it was certified, then backtracked and told me it wasn't certified because the battery didn't pass testing. After negotiation, they changed the battery in order to certify the car. A WEEK LATER the traction lights came on and my wheels kept seizing. After they looked at it and told me it was fine I continued to persist that it indeed was not. They eventually discovered that there was an issue with the break sensor. They fixed it. ABOUT A MONTH LATER the car starts vibrating and the engine is making a concerning noise. It has trouble accelerating. The brake and battery lights come on simultaneously. The alternator fails when tested. All they can tell me is "it isn't covered under warranty, find a Car-X or a Nissan Dealer." I've been telling my friends to buy from them since I bought it, and I wanted so badly to send business their way because of their down to earth attitudes and excellent customer service in the beginning. This was apparently a sales tactic, as they could care less about the xxxxty car they sold me 2 MONTHS AGO. I do not recommend. If you do chose to buy a car from them, have it inspected by an independent contractor first. PS The finance guy was incredibly pushy. When we were in the office I asked for a warranty that was on a paper that he handed me. He rang me up for a more expensive warranty. When I pointed out his mistake, he grumbled about having to re-print the paper work and got huffy that I was accusing him of being dishonest. He said he rang up the more expensive warranty because that was the one he had pointed out to me earlier, and I had no business looking at the other warranties that were ON THE PAPER HE GAVE ME. I ended up not purchasing any because he said the cheaper one THAT WAS OUTLINED ON THE PAPER HE GAVE ME was not available. Incredibly disrespectful. PPS Woody, the manager who sold me my car, told me "I don't sell crappy cars." Well dude, you're either mistaken or a liar. Either way, not cool.
I will preface this by saying I completely understand you buy a car as is. My wife and I decided to trade in our leased Jeep and purchase a car for cash,... which would allow us to be car payment free. A work associate of mine told me to look into Hubler Pre-Owned, so I figured I would give it a try even though it was a 45 minute drive. After test driving two different vehicles, both of which we were told were inspected, we decided to get quotes on both. One vehicle you could tell had a small problem, so the dealership said they would take it in to have it inspected for a SECOND time! They came back saying it was a wheel bearing, so they fixed that, replaced the battery, and one other small issue. We were satisfied with the fix after being told that there were no other issues found on either of the TWO inspections. He even said "it was checked front to back. No issues." However, after driving the vehicle for a mere week (less than 300 miles), there seemed to be a problem with the transmission. I reached out to Hubler Pre-Owned, and they said they would take it back to the Nissan Hubler to have it looked at again. This would be the THIRD inspection. After this inspection, the Nissan Hubler called me stating the transmission was going out. "Tech states transmission fluid is dark, burnt, and low. Indicates to repair - CVT will need to be replaced." This is PART of the reason for the 1 star. How does it take THREE different inspections to find out the transmission oil was this bad? The fluids are a pretty simple thing to have checked during inspections. Either Hubler Pre-Owned knew about this and didn't say anything, or the vehicle was never actually inspected to begin with. The other and probably most important reason they are getting a 1 star is their lack of communication afterwards. I received one email from their sales manager Joe asking me if their Nissan Hubler had gotten ahold of me. After I responded, "yes, they let me know it would be a $3500 fix", I never received another email from Joe. No apology, no phone call, nothing at all. Also, I was told by the car salesman we dealt with to contact the other sales manager Ben Bare, and he may be able to do something to help us out. Well I have called Ben approximately FOUR different times. I have left my number on three different occasions throughout the week, and I have yet to receive a single phone call back. Again, I want to say we completely understand you buy a vehicle as is. The 1 star rating is due to either being lied to, a poor inspection, no inspection at all, and/or a complete lack of communication. I will strongly recommend all of the friends and family we have across Indy to NEVER go to Hubler Pre-Owned. I will also be spreading the word throughout our church community, south side friends, and any other website I can post a review.
Best buying experience I have had. Tyler Hicks was amazing to work with. Very patient and very thorough. He listened to what I was looking for and delivered.... The whole staff was amazing. Closed everything quickly with Richie Tudor in finance with no problems. This is my new home when shopping for vehicles. I will be back guys....good job!!! Sincerely, Former Ray Skillman Customer
Thank you for bending over backwards to answer all of our questions and concerns with making a purchase from 300 mi away. We appreciate you holding the... truck until we got there and your honest answers about our truck. Well worth the drive. In less than 24 hrs we had our dream truck. Thank you Patrick and Joe. I will make the drive again!!!!
I emailed and asked a simple question regarding a Jeep top. The response I received was the typical “Come in, let’s talk.” I was not even in the country... due to a military deployment, but was willing to send my husband in to look at the vehicle....depending on the answer I received to the question I asked. When I sent a “no thank you” response, I was then asked if I wanted someone to contact me with the answer to my original question. DUH! VERY FRUSTRATING!!
Wow! Excellent staff! Easy process! I would definitely recommend! No pressure and very friendly
Hi Steve - We appreciate your business and thank you for the review!
I was looking for a newer vehicle after my 2004 Rav 4 was a total loss from a recent wreck. I had intentions of looking at the Chevy Equinox and possibly... buying one, and then I saw this beauty out of the corner of my eye. Dragon said let me get the keys and lets take it for a spin. I instantly fell in love with it just from it's beautiful color. Needless to say, it came home with me in a couple hours. Once you are a Toyota owner, you're always a Toyota owner. Toyota's are excellent, reliable vehicles, so I knew what I really wanted. Dragon is a great guy, and made the sale process easy. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family.
Hi Alicia - It was our pleasure assisting you and glad we got you in exactly what you were looking for. Enjoy your new Blue Rav4 and let us know how w...e can help! =)
Dragan Stankovic was helpful in finding the vehicle I was searching for and excellent on negotiating a price
Hi Jason - We appreciate your business and thank you for the review. Enjoy your new Silverado!
1 st the Pros : The salesman Tom Kuzniar was a very nice and not the typical pushy car salesmen, he was very professional and lead us to the truck that... we got. The manager also gave me a military discount in which we were very happy with. Now the cons: when we got done signing the paper work and all is complete, we were handed only 1 key and when asked where was the other one the reply was that there was only one and we had to spend $225.00 to go to another Ford dealership and buy our own. We left and thought the it would be better if we the sales place would get anouther key for us instead of waiting for us to SIGN on the dotted line and then pop the only 1 key to us. Also we left with only enough gas to get to the Speedway gas station which was only 3 blocks away, we end up spending $47.00 in gas right off the bat, not very nice. If we were given a full tank of gas and 2 keys, I would give all 5 stars. I bought the truck on 5/27/2017

Tried to buy a car from this dealership online. Asked for details and additional pictures. Never received any information or even a call back. Person... on chat was helpful, but the sales team was useless. This coupled with the car price increasing over $1509 during the three days that I tried to buy the car led me to purchase online from another dealer. Very disappointing. I will completely avoid this dealer in the future.
Hi Dean - With 11 stores in our group, this vehicle was at another location and was being moved to our dealership after you expressed interested and s...et an appt on 5/26. We couldn't get you pictures until we had it on the lot and you purchased from another dealer on 5/27. We require 24 hours to move the car so we apologize this time restraint was an inconvenience to you. Enjoy your new vehicle and we wish you the best!
