Really bad customer service Don’t sell your car to them they don’t answer any phone calls and they always not answer just waste your time
Excellent service and offer. Sold my BMW to Car Buyers for a higher price than other offers. Totally hassle free and great communications through the... entire deal
Very helpful nice people to do business with. Very professional and out going
Thank you for your business!
I was contacted by a “James Carson” after posting my car for sale on multiple websites. The communications went back and forth via email, I was moving... at the time and had a lot going on- couldn’t always get back to his emails immediately- I did ask for a call and never received one. James asked me to send him a picture of my Drivers license and Vehicle Registration in order for him to get the process started. I asked why- he provided a decent explanation, so I emailed the requested info. I kept asking if he got it, with no related answer, but he would randomly email me asking “Is your car still for sale, should I close the offer?” The last time he asked me that on July 25th he also attached in his email my quote for the sale of my vehicle - which states it is good for 10 days. I asked once more- did you receive my DL and VR? Within the next day James said yes but this process was started in June and so since then the price we are offering has gone down (by $1,437 less than previously offered)... I immediately felt I had been scammed for my personal information as it had only been 6/10 days I had to respond to the offer letter he had sent in his most recent email. This company now has my DL and VR info and aren’t honoring their own fine print on their offers.... I refused the offer at that point and I’m hoping to leave this review to help someone else make the better decision to not deal with people you can never actually meet or talk to. This is the first and the last time I will ever fall for something like this and I feel so violated.
Jeff made the overall experience seamless and very easy to sell my car. He was very upfront and transparent through the entire transaction. I would do... this again.
CarBuyerUSA exceeded our expectations! When we decided to sell our car, we thought about going to CarMax. However, the nearest one is a 90 minute drive... from our home. What if we didn’t like the offer? A whole afternoon would have been wasted. A pop-ad introduced us to CarBuyerUSA. We submitted our vehicle information. They came back with a very nice offer (subject, of course, to our vehicle being as described). A really nice guy named Jeff followed up by phone. We emailed additional documentation that Jeff requested and made an appointment to bring our car to their facility in Woodstock, GA (which happened to be fairly close to the nearest CarMax). Upon our arrival, Jeff introduced us to his manager Brian. The two of them couldn’t have been nicer. Very professional and helpful. They needed about two hours to thoroughly inspect our car. We went shopping locally. We returned two hours later, a little apprehensive that they would meet our expectations. No need for that worry; CarBuyerUSA had no games to play. Brian had their Business Manager — they called her Mama Bear but I think her name is Julie — cut us a check. No hassle! On our way home, Jeff called to thank us for our business. I cannot overstate how personable and professional everyone was. Thank you Jeff, Brian and Julie! CarBuyerUSA exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend them. And we’re telling our friends at CarMax to watch out because CarBuyerUSA beat you at your own game. Joseph
These people are scammers. That’s just the honest truth. I submitted a request to sell my car to them, provided them with the VIN, a picture of the title... and my ID for a 2016 corolla. They came back with a price of $10,850 The guy, Travis kept calling me back to back asking me to take my car to the Manheim location for inspection. I said fine. I said you know the car has he 2 accidents right, one in the front and one at the back. He said yes and that was why they were only offering $10,850. I said no problem. He said they wanted to inspect the car and make sure there were no mechanical issues. I ended up dropping the car and had to follow up on the next steps. Then Travis says, he is not involved anymore. His pricing specialists Brian will get back to me. Brian gets back to me and says the car has frame damage in front and the back. I’m like yes, the carfax already showed you and I already said it to Travis. Obviously, if there is an accident, the frame is compromised. With that said, I asked that my car be released ASAP and then they proceeded to give me a runaround, waste my time and my new buyers time. Ultimately, they were a complete waste of time who tried to lowball me by $2,850. Another car buying company met me at the same manheim location on the same day and bought my car for $10,500. Both Brian and Travis are the poster kids for unprofessional. They are so rude and insulting once you catch them in their lie.
As with other reviews, they made a reasonable offer upfront, then dropped to a low -ball offer after their private "inspection". On the plus side, their... people are friendly and responsive. If you get a quote from them, you should assume that you will NEVER get that price for your car. Cannot recommend.
After reading reviews I was a little nervous about using this company. Through logic I understood that they couldn't possibly put an accurate offer on... a car they have never seen. It was clearly explained to me that my car would have a inspection done on it before I got paid. There was a change to my offer but it was minor and I was happy to sell and get paid so quickly. No fear of meeting strangers and it didnt take months.
BAIT AND SWITCH! SCAM! Wish I had read reviews. Good up front quote. Then held my car hostage for 9 days. Had to get my lawyer involved to get it back.... Quoted me $3,550 a week with my car... then changed it to $2,400 for the exact things i sent photos of and made them aware of.
