Great overall experience. The dealership is a need for a touch of paint but great service and great quality of cars and work. My only concern is that they... do not communicate well with each other and it causes a lot of confusion but what makes me go back is how well they make up for it by providing excellent service and quality of cars.
My first impression of this dealership was that all of the staff was friendly and truly cared about the customers. However, it wasn’t until after... I had purchased my car that I realized that this was not the case. The car salesman that helped show me the car I purchased seemed genuinely nice. He was not pushy about getting me to buy a car. Also, he made promises that I would get some free oil changes, and said that I wouldn’t have payments for 90 days. I remember him saying “I will do whatever I can to help you out”. The car salesman began to earn my trust, and I felt that he cared more about me than about selling a car. After deciding that I would purchase the car, I spoke with Lee in financing. I mentioned the oil changes and no payments for 90 days. He said that he was not able to do this and stated, “a few other people have said that today”. At that point, I hadn’t signed any paperwork yet and had not officially purchased the car. I should have taken this as a sign to leave and purchase a car elsewhere. However, I trusted the promises that the car salesman had made, because he seemed honest so I decided to purchase the car and then speak with the car salesman. I admit that I made this mistake. After talking with Lee, I spoke with the car salesman, and he said that he would leave a note with the general manager who would approve the promises he had made. He also instructed me to wait a few days and contact the assistant manager regarding the situation. Over the next few weeks, I sent emails, made calls and left voicemails and no one has made an attempt to contact me regarding this situation. This leads me to believe that I was given empty promises just so that I would buy a car from this dealership. This type of behavior is extremely rude and unprofessional. I feel like I have been taken advantage of and lied to as a customer. I trusted the car salesman and it turns out that he didn’t actually care about me at all. To make matters worse, I had spoken with multiple staff at this dealership about my wife and I having a newborn baby and they congratulated me. Although the staff at this dealership seemed friendly at first, they are more concerned about selling cars than working with integrity. I had a poor experience, and I advise others not to purchase a car from here. I will also be sharing my experience with family, friends and coworkers. Their behavior is unacceptable, and they don’t deserve your business! The only person who was truly honest with me, and didn’t try to lie was Lee in financing.
Everyone at the dealership was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend to go there if you are in need of a new or used car. They have... a great selection and the sales staff is awesome. They make buying a car a super easy process. A+++
Not really needing but wanting a SUV I began hunting around various dealers online and in person. After a brief initial ‘ hiccup ‘ at Tim Short... I found a car I might be interested in online and checked out reviews . My list of ‘ wants and needs ‘ was pretty specific so I wasn’t going to ‘ settle ‘ for a vehicle. Brystyl, their internet agent was friendly, promptly interactive and helpful. So I returned and met with Bruce Whittemore to check out the RAV4 I’d seen and he was fantastic to work with. Super friendly, easy going and accommodating yet not pushy at all ( I HATE that ! ) The RAV4 had everything I HAD to have and several features I’d wanted to. And it looked and drove GREAT. While we couldn’t come to an agreement that day , to his credit he followed up with an email to thank me for considering buying from them and we started the ball rolling again. With a few texts , a couple of phone calls and an online application , the deal was MADE! The RAV4, which already looked nice, was brought in the shop there for a final look over and clean up and within about an hour or so of our arrival, the Missus and I got the keys and off we went. Kudos to Sales Manager Meridith , Lee in finance and of course Bruce Whittmore. Be sure to tell them I recommended Bruce. Def ask for him for him and you’ll be happy too !

Here is how the local Mazda dealership handles their customer complaints... Purchased a vehicle from Tim Short Mazda approximately 2 weeks ago, with part... of the purchase being that Tim Short would have a backup camera installed in said vehicle. They used a third party vendor of their choice, and once I received the vehicle back 1.5 weeks later, the camera was not working. In addition the company they chose to do the install did in my opinion one of the worst installations I have ever seen. They cut the hole for the camera incorrectly, then attempted to cover up the mistake with what appears to be Bondo and spray paint. The rear right speaker isn't working, (Due to suspected damage to the wiring harness when installing the camera), and there are interior panels damaged, also I found hand prints all over the headliner. Tim Short Mazda is refusing to do anything to rectify the situation, essentially telling me to take it up with who installed the part. Simple fact of the matter is, I have a contract with Tim Short Mazda, not with the third party installer. Where is your customer service Tim Short? My request was very simple. Allow me to drop off my vehicle at the dealership, to allow Tim Short to coordinate repairs with the third party installer, Supply a loaner vehicle, and once complete, I will return the loaner, and pick up my properly corrected vehicle.
Just bought a new 2018 Mazda CX-5 and had a great experience dealing with sale rep Bruce Whittemore. Everything from the test drive to financing was very... smooth.
