This review is solely based on the new (2 weeks on the job) sales manager "Clark Gillette" that is a fraud. I've never felt so disrespected by someone... like this. Just 30 days prior I acquired a new Giulia at this exact same location with the previous sales manager and the entire process was very pleasant and flawless. This time around we decided to go back to the same dealership to purchase a Stelvio for my wife, the whole deal was negotiated over the phone to then be finalize at the store. This time around we're introduced to the new sale manager "Clark Gillette" and that's when the deal took a bad turn. The whole deal from start was super shady, it all came down to the $3.000 down payment for the lease which we have previously agreed upon. This time around Clark came up with an absurd excuse that his computer could not connect with DMV so instead of us coming back the next day, he proposed to us to leave the store with a $48.000 Stelvio without any paper work, invoice nor paper plates which is illegal in the state of California. He then promised to deliver the documents to our house in the next morning. Three days went by when finally, sent Cristian the sales person to finalize our documents in our house. Everyone knew from the beginning that our down payment was $3.000 so Cristian requested our credit card number to be written on a piece of paper so he could charge us the down payment at once he was back at the dealership. We disagreed because we didn't think that this was a safe procedure so we made arrangements to complete the transaction at the dealership on the next morning. I was unable to go with my wife the next day, so she went alone to dealership and spoke with Clark, he then completed changed the story and said that our $3.000 down was now $4.600 due to taxes and license and plates. She was then coerced to complete payment and told that he explained about adding $1.600 to the down payment multiple times to both of us (COMPLETE LIE!!!) On the next morning I learned about the $1.600 discrepancy and immediately called the dealership, and guess what? Both of them were off work that day, so by law if you want to cancel the lease it must be done within 24 hours and this crook knew exactly what he was doing. I was then promised by Cristian multiple times that on the next day (out of the cancellation policy) everything would be solved. He said that Clark would call me first thing in the morning which it never happened; multiple promises were made throughout the day until I finally got a hold of Clark. It was by far one of the worst displeasure that I had in my life to deal with this sleaze salesman, he never apologized for the misunderstanding nor acknowledged his fault in clearly communicating with us. He was confrontational from start and unwillingly to discuss about our case. At one point he started screaming on the phone in an effort to intimidate me, I said that I was very unhappy this deal and I wish it never happened. He ended up hanging the phone on me and told me to look for my rights. The $1.600 will not make a difference in our lives but this review will stay here forever to show the type of people that are representing Alfa Romeo San Diego. Until this guy is part of the staff of this dealership, I'll definitely not recommend this place. Nobody needs this uncalled stressful situation in their lives. I own and Marketing Agency and I'm feeling compelled to write a press release detailing my story and submitting to over 10.000 media sites. I'm also in talks with the local news channel to share my story. This is not fair and I do not wish this type of dirty negotiation tactics to my worst enemy. The whole deal took a toll on me due to the stress that it has caused. Lastly, I will also file a police report detailing this whole situation. An extremely unhappy and dissatisfied customer from Alfa Romeo San Diego.

We were awarded "Dealer of the Year" for Alfa Romeo in California thanks to our customer's satisfaction and reviews by Dealer Rater, and we want to understand why there are such negative comments here.

Great professional courteous service by Hector Yorba, the Sales Manager in making this deal happen by follow ups and making the process a breeze to purchase... the vehicle from them! I recommend asking for him and Andres another great internet sales person who followed up with us on behalf of Hector to make sure deal works out smooth step by step! Great management.
Bought my stelvio from another alfa dealer although i got a very good deal i wasn’t happy with the service and facility. Did a search for a different dealership... and landed in alfa romeo san diego and i must say one of the best and right move i’ve made. Met with the service advisors Chris stanley and joel golliday, both provided an outstanding service and knowledge towards my car. Alfa san diego is different from other dealership because they dont try to sell you some BS repairs andh service that you dont need, they are honest and transparent they will tell you what you need and what you dont need. I highly recommend this dealership, our alfas are very special and must be treated as such and this dealership will provide that service with passion to your car.
Recently purchased a used (but new to me) 2018 Alfa Quadrifoglio up in L.A. I had some concerns about a couple of maintenance items so as soon as I got... back to SD I contacted Chris Stanley (Service Advisor) at Alfa Romeo of San Diego. Chris researched the maintenance history of the car, then scheduled me for an appt. first thing the next morning. While I was waiting in the lounge, "Maestro Tech" Colby Reed came out and personally explained to me some of the procedures he performed. Having a quality dealer like Alfa of SD adds so much to the peace of mind of owning a very special car like a Quadrifoglio. Thank you so much, Chris and Colby.
This is my second car at Alfa Romeo of San Diego, and my experience has been always great. Customer service is number one priority for this dealership.... I highly recommended Alfa Romeo of San Diego if you're looking for a new car.

General Manager Ray handing the financing quickly and efficiently. They answered all my questions, gave me an amazing deal, what a top notch dealership. I love my 2015 Model S 85D and they made sure I had the right car and at the best price. I highly recommend them for all of you new and used car needs.
I had been looking at the Alfa Romeo Guilia since I first saw the advertisements about a year ago. I had a lot of time on my recent deployment to do research... and read reviews of the vehicle. When I cam home, it was just a matter of test driving the vehicle and I was sold! The vehicle is fantastic and has lived up to my expectations in every way. I have had long commutes in the San Diego area and have dreaded the drives. Now, I look forward to getting in my new car and going pretty much anywhere. The car buying experience was by far the easiest I have experienced. It was smooth and quick. Ryan Satterfield was very knowledgeable and responsive to my wife's and my questions. He got the purchase process started and got the car ready for us in no time. The dealership is excellent! It has a small staff which makes it feel more personable. I have recommended this car and dealership to many people. I look forward to working with them in the future.
