The Pittsburg Hyundai service department has the worst

The Pittsburg Hyundai service department has the worst service, their manager David is so unhelpful and has no customer service skills whatsoever. Their lack of communication/ respect for customer time, customer interaction, and overall service was awful. After years of dealing with this location because of it being close in proximity to our home, and being loyal to the dealership we bought the car at, we finally had enough. We recently started going to Future Hyundai in Concord and the service there is sooo much better. There is a huge difference in respect in Concord, we regret not switching dealerships sooner.

We had a great experience with All Star Hyundai!

We had a great experience with All Star Hyundai! Our salesperson, Dante, was super helpful, responsive to our questions, and came through on everything he told us he would. The financing person was also helpful and efficient. We got a good deal and great treatment at All Star. They made our purchase simple and painless and we love our new Santa Fe! Highly recommend.

I recently had a positive experience with leasing a car at All Star Hyundai Pittsburg. The leasing process was straightforward, with clear terms. The dealership staff(Dante)were knowledgeable and helpful, guiding me through the lease agreement and addressing all my questions. Overall, I felt supported and informed at every step, making my car lease experience a pleasant one.

I’d give them less than one star if it would allow it. Their Mickey Mouse mechanics did faulty work which resulted in the head gasket blowing. AFTER charging us $4K they refuse to make good on THEIR FAULTY work. They’re straight up criminals. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away. And tell all your friends and family not to get robbed at All Star Hyundai in Pittsburg CA!

What good would that do? The ‘managers’ already blew us off. They don’t care that their faulty work caused the issue. They never even responded to the BBB- multiple attempts to contact were made. Unless you’re willing to give us our money back or fix the car, I don’t have much more to say. Next step is a lawyer, I suppose. PS. I have the documents stating when we brought it back just days AFTER they ‘fixed it.’ And told us there was nothing wrong. Even though your system mysteriously doesn’t have record of it. YOU GAVE US A PAPER COPY.

Update: I called them, per their Customer Relations request to this review, more than a week ago and left a voicemail, and true to form, they never responded. This is the dirtiest, shadiest, most unethical company ever. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! They’re guaranteed to steal from you! Dirty company.

Bought a brand new 2023 Kona EV from Dante.

Bought a brand new 2023 Kona EV from Dante. Huge fan of the experience. I was really concerned the person selling me my car would try to upsell like crazy or get me into something I didn’t want. Dante didn’t do that. He was great on our test drive, he had good product knowledge, and he worked really hard to get the price to a number we were comfortable with. I’ll be seeing Dante next time we buy a car.

Employees are not honest at this establishment.

Employees are not honest at this establishment. I test-drove a used 2022 Ioniq plug-in and asked the salesperson where the charger was as it was not in the car during the test drive. She told me that it was most likely in the sales office. This turned out to be wrong and they are trying to sell a plug-in without the stock charger. The sales manager indicated that he would reduce the price of the car to compensate for the missing component. I was excited and ready to buy however the sales manager did not reduce the price. He had listed 2 doc fees on the deal and removed one to compensate. The sales manager told me their system auto-populates the doc fees. When I asked the sales manager why the system would auto-populate incorrect fees he snapped back and said take this deal or leave it. We were 120.00 away from a deal and I walked. Two days later, they reduced the price so I called back to see if we could finish the deal. I spoke to a new sales manager and he told me the car was on site and he was willing to make the deal work. I was transferred to the salesperson I was originally working with and she told me the car was on site and we got the deal on track. She was going to charge the car and have it ready for me to pick up. As I was on my way the salesperson called and told me the car had been sent to auction. When I asked why 2 people said it was on site she said she was sorry. This car is still listed on their site a week after it was "sent to auction". Buyer beware. Watch for incorrect fees on your deal. Their system adds incorrect fees automatically. Communicate in writing so you can call them out when they lie.

AVOID Phill Jimenez. Dishonest, impolite, impatient. Agreed on an OTD price and raised it by 2k on the day of purchase. They lure you into buying the vehicle with things you are not told.
