ridiculously overprices cars. no mazda, especially a 2016 grand touring , with 70,000 miles should be this price. a joke of a company in many ways.
From the start of this process of buying my vehicle from Vroom - it's been a pain in the rear end. The girl I originally dealt with didn't know a darn... thing - I finally would only deal with her manager. When first set of paperwork arrived - it was wrong. 2nd set of paperwork - one of the numbers was different and they couldn't tell me HOW and WHY it was different. Then the delivery process - was pretty smooth. The truck driver called me 4 days before my delivery date to tell me he was in my city to drop it off. Um...ok - let me just drop what I'm doing when your 4 days early. Then vehicle registration - this has been the most screwed up. I send them everything that is requested in a timely fashion - then I hear nothing. I call them to request a new temp tag since my is expiring. I get them my dec page as they requested within 15 minutes and now I'm still waiting on my new temp tag and it expires tonight at midnight. I don't recommend this company. Clearly they need some tweaking. And they need to be proactive about getting new temp tags that are nearing expiration. Maybe set up an alert in your system as a reminder that your customer's tag is expiring. Be PROACTIVE not REACTIVE! This isn't rocket science people.
Their customer service is amazing until you sign your paperwork and hand them your check. They will intentionally mislead you about estimated delivery... dates to get you to buy a vehicle. My salesman promised delivery is 7 days "maximum" and it has taken MANY more days. Their support team has no idea where the vehicle is throughout the shipping. The vehicle waits for inspection for a week with no updates then another week of shipping come to find out there is one thing after another that delays it an extra week. I might be the exception, but they really let me down and left me hanging without a car. If I would have know the delivery was so horrible I would have simply bought another car. They need to be a lot more transparent if they want to have repeat customers.
Very easy to purchase, the entire thing happened over email and the papers were signed via overnight FedEx. Less than 1 week later, the car was in my driveway.... It does take longer than a traditional dealer, but you don't have to sit there for hours while the paperwork and financing takes place. The car came in immaculate condition, no paint chips, no scratches. Interior was perfectly detailed and cleaned. Good price, low mileage, clean history report.
Found a vehicle that I was ready to buy but their no haggle pricing was too high. As an online only dealer without brick and mortar investment they should... offer very attractive pricing. I managed to find a similarly equipped car for a much more attractive price. Their customer service was great so if you find a car that you like and you like the price I would not hesitate buying from them.
