They treated me like a king but as soon as the check cleared they don't seem to know where the title is. I've called four times this week and they won't... even return my calls. As soon as my 2nd 30 day tag runs out in a few days I guess I won't be able to drive it.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Bought a 2018 ford transit 350 2 months ago. I’m a 5’4” lady and was there without my husband. I checked... out the van but failed to look at the top of the van. They did not disclose to me there was over $1000 of damage and severe rust to the very top of the tall van. We traded today at a reputable dealer but that doesn’t help with the thousands this dealership took from us.

So, my daughters car did not just die, it committed suicide by fire. Needless to say we had been car shopping for a couple of weeks narrong down vehicles... she liked. I found three vehicles listed at Classic Ford in Shelby that we wanted to look at. We emailed to see if they were still available and the dealership scheduled a time for us to come in and test drive them. But when we arrived, no cars. Apparently they list all the cars as being there for all the dealerships owned by this dealership. They wanted to show us what they had on the lot. The cars were on three different dealer owned lots. They asked if we wanted ONE of the cars moved there so we could see it. I asked where the cars were, and we would go there and see them. They reluctantly provided us with this information. We even called ahead to the next nearest dealership to confirm that our first choice was available at Classic Nissan in Statesville. But again, no car. They said it wasn’t even one of their stock numbers. Now I had called not an hour before this to confirm the vehicle status. Again they wanted to show us what they had. And in fact they had a few comparable cars to see. After taking one for a test drive, we asked what they could do on it. They gave us a price a couple thousand over what their own website showed the vehicle for. We had already gotten financing through our credit union, so they said that they could not give us that price because the fine print on their web page says you have to finance the car through them to get that price. In addition they wanted another $700 for dealer prep and processing. Now, any car buying guide will advise you that anything more than $300 is price gouging. After a little time they relented and were willing to to give us the internet price if we agreed to complete the deal then and there with no other discussion. I advised that this was still more than the same car that was missing in action and wanted to get closer or less than that price. Keep in mind that this was the same car for all intent and purposes, with less equipment and a Carfax not as good and higher mileage. Needless to say we left feeling much used and abused by these dealerships. Later I looked up the car again and wouldn't you know that the Modern Nissan sign which claim not to have this car is in the background of the cars photos. This is a classic bait and switch maneuver by a disreputable dealership. And from their Yelp reviews, I am not the only person they tried to swindle. .
It took 5 days for classic ford to make a decision on getting used suv.dealer had me drive 30 miles .then when I got there with trade car they didn't have... SUV I was wanted.tried to sell me a new one which was out of my bbudget.sales manager rude and not helpful at all sales people didn't known there job.i don't recommend never to go to this dealership.
Buyers beware! We purchased a truck with 800 miles on it from this dealer 17 days ago and we have only had vehicle 4 days. It has to go back to shop on... Wednesday the day after Christmas. The dealership sold us the new truck knowing it was fault. The issues we are having with truck are same issues it had when we test drove it. We were assured it would be fixed before we left lot. It is an easy fix however dealer has given us the run around all this time and still has not repaired vehicle. The vehicle has litterally set in dealers shops for days untouched. It's time Classic Ford of Shelby to address the issues and fix it. Stop inconviencing your customers and deliver what you promised. Buyers beware.
