Ordering a Bronco at Island Ford has been such an exciting experience. Oliver Dash, our sales Associate, walked us through the whole factory ordering process. After submitting our order, he answered my many questions with a positive and upbeat attitude, always reassuring us that everything is proceeding as expected. I placed a $1000.00 down payment on a 2022 F-350. This truck was new on their lot. I told them I would like some additions to the purchase, spray in bed liner and a fifth wheel prep pkg. Two days later the market crashed and my financial position changed. I explained the situation and asked for my deposit back. They responded by saying the parts were on backorder and they had already paid for them?? The salesman said the bed liner had not been applied but would have a sales manager phone me back. He said they had contracted out the bed liner spray job but avoided stating it had been completed or not. The sales man also stated they did in fact have a buyer for the truck if I couldn't. I also stated that in event I recover from this downturn in the market I would order a 2023 F-350 depending on how they handled my deposit. They decided not to return my deposit. IMO, anyone who potentially was or are planning to deal with this bunch, STAY AWAY.
