Although purchasing a car was easy...repairing absolutely not!! Cars engine light came on days after buying. Scan showed leak. Was told maybe gas cap. Had light turned off. Came back on..same code..dropped off at Per4mance..6 weeks later..yes 6 weeks and $3400 at the Audi dealer. It is being resolved. They are not equipped to repair what they sell...No communication and they are not honest. Don't waste your time and money!

I know better next time
I went in May 2020 and looked at a 2013 BMW 528i and the vehicle was nice looking and it had low miles. Going through the process of buying was pretty easy and simple. I had to wait a few days to get my vehicle because it had a crack in the windshield. I got my 2013 on a Sunday. I called on that following Tuesday and asked for my paperwork for my warranty. I got I am sorry I will send it out today. I actually did not get the paperwork until 3 weeks later after calling several times. I have had some work done to it because of an earlier wear and tear issue. Mind you it has not even been 4 months and I am already having problems. I did get an extended warranty (Proguard) which was not fully explained. They don't tell you that this insurance only pays 100.00 dollars in labor and not taxes. So you have to pay a deductible as well as the labor if over $100.00 and taxes. But what made me really upset was that the salesmen lied about my tags. I had a business trip coming up in July and I was going to be gone for 2 months and my tag was about to expire in a few weeks. I call the lot and they tell me I had to go through inspection. I was then proceeded to tell them that the salesmen told me that my tag would be mailed to me and I did not have to go through inspection. So I had to get a new temp tag FEDEX to me and wait for my regular tag to come. If you have to choose this place bring a mechanic with you and ask a lot of questions and get proof of documentation of what is being said. If so go somewhere else.

Don't Leave Until Repairs Are Completed
The purchasing experience was great but don't leave the shop or pay any money until all repairs are completed to your satisfaction, otherwise they will not repair the vehicle. Very unfortunate, we purchased a vehicle in November 2018 and the repairs have yet to be completed. We recently had an appointment, took the vehicle there, only to fine out that the mechanic was at an auction that day. Unbelievable!!

Outstanding Service
I visited this dealership based on a referral from a friend. I had a very limited amount of time to shop and a very specific list of what I wanted. As a first-time shopper at a small dealership I did not know wat to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that my point of contact, Terry, was available to accommodate my late arrival time. I was impressed with the inventory and Terry’s insight to quickly match me with several vehicles that met my list of requirements. Presenting me with several clean, mechanically sound vehicles that were in my price point made my selection very challenging. Fortunately, Terry has a “no pressure” approach, is extremely patient, and well-versed on the vehicles which made my purchase stress-free. Thank you to Terry, Mike, and the entire team for making this an easy process! I’ll definitely shop here again.

A Huge Disappointment.
I do not feel comfortable purchasing a vehicle for myself/recommending anybody to shop at this dealer. Long story short I called and schedule for a test drive for a vehicle after I get off from work. Now mind you, I?ve done tons of research for this vehicle and I?ve already saved up a good amount to put down for a down payment($7,000). I am a college student who has a full time job. So TIME is one thing that I truly value. After work I made my way over there and asked for a representative so I can take the car for a test drive. The original person I spoke with on the phone was busy with another customer. An employee told me for this particular car I can?t take it out for a test drive I?d need to have a pre approve check ready to be cashed and that I practically have to buy it in order to take it for a test drive. Now I?ve seen the EXACT spec for this vehicle in Pennsylvania and in Virginia for a lower price. Only reason I don?t travel out the state for a test drive is cause of the amount of time I have. I currently attend at lincoln tech, my major being automotive service management, and I have a strong knowledge on how a technician work and how a dealership is ran. I?ve never heard nor been at a dealership where I had to make a purchase a vehicle in order to go for a test drive. As soon as he told me that I proceeded to left and the man kept telling me someone is on their way and I just kept on moving. I was honestly looking forward and purchasing a vehicle today but it all came shattered down like a broken glass.

Looking for a good used car
I totaled my 2004 GMC when the brake lines broke and we were left without a car. When we were on our way to Ft. Meade in our rented car we passed Per4mance Auto which I had done every day when I was stationed there. This time I noticed a GMC Yukon and we stopped to look at it. We met and talked to Terry Lancaster who told us it was sold but he showed us the other cars on the lot. None fit our needs so he had several more brought in. Some were interesting but were out of our price range or needed expensive repairs. When our lease ran out he sent a car to pick us up and take us home. He knew what we wanted by this time and went to the auctions to find THE car which he did-a low mileage, 2007, top of the line Chevrolet Tahoe with all the bells and whistles. He hit a home run with this one, it was in our price range and had every thing we wanted. They promised that they would finance any sale regardless credit. His finance guru spent a great deal of time checking for the best deal but no regular lender would finance the sale. After some soul searching and partial funds from me they financed the sale in house. The sale price included inspection, taxes, license, title, a warranty, and written in-house warranty on repairs for 30 days and six months on tires. If you tried to buy a car recently negotiation results in the salesman going to the manager for costs or the price and other costs for approval, for every offer. Chances are that all the taxes, inspection, and title will be extra. If you want a dealer that will treat you like their most important customer and spend the time to get you the right car, give Per4mance Auto a try, you will be gad you did. I Am.

My Review of Per4mance Auto
Big things are happening there. The staff is a show sstopper. You need a Rental you got. Soft music, tea and coffee along with great customer service. They go all out to please their customers with no stone left unturned. My son purchased a car.
