A couple of issues, first it was a little strange that I was able to do a test drive without a salesperson, but, the crux of the matter was the car was... over-priced & not well maintained. They actually sent me out in a vehicle without a drop of oil? The sales person was nice, neat and fairly competent, but didn't know her lots cars.
Looked at a car online and spoke to a lady at the dealership about it. Car looked ok online and she assured me the car was in excellent condition. Showed... up at the dealership after 5 hours of driving to find nobody there. I called and the lady said she was at Sonic and would be right over. The building looks like something for a Quentin Tarantino movie and is in no way a professional looking establishment. Next comes the car. It was beaten up all over and had somewhere north of $2500 worth of body damage needing repair. Also, the service engine light was on and the tires were all different tread depths. Carfax reports mean nothing when dealing with this place. AVOID!
United Auto Sales in Old Hickory, Tn. was a nightmare. I visited the site two times to see a used car and despite being there during business hours, no... one was on the premises. I called the number to the company and the sales lady said she was "out on a test drive." Ironically, she returned about 10 minutes later, by herself, driving one of the cars for sale. On the second visit, no one was there again and I called her to find out if they were even open. She stated that one of the sales persons "called in sick at the last minute." We waited for 20 minutes for her to get there. She seemed clueless about the vehicle and was not helpful at all. I would highly recommend avoiding this company as it was VERY poorly run from start to finish.
