I had made an appointment for my truck to get it’s regular service and it took 2 hours to get an oil change.
Ask for Alex Uribe! He is great as this is the best place for service and worth the drive no matter how far you live! Can’t beat the price, customer... service, professionalism, quality of service and they’re quick! Impeccable job every time wether just an oil change or maintenance performed! Close by shopping and food, so easy to stay there and wait for job to be completed. Would recommend offering free coffee, as that is always a nice perk not seen here.

Had an appointment to perform an oil change and the truck would not start to commence the service. Leo Cuenca was very helpful and changed the service... to a diagnosis. The team repaired the fuel system and completed the oil change with a complete diagnosis on the truck through the holiday without any hassle. Thank you for continued great service!
Recently had my cooling system flushed based on my service manager's recommendations. During this service my service manager claims to have found... a leak. I had no leaks prior to this service. So as I result, I trusted my service manager and had all hoses, gaskets and a new water pump replaced based on his recommendation. I drove home 5 days later feeling robbed, since I paid $2200.00 for the service. As soon I got home I parked my car in the driveway and within a few days I noticed a coolant leak. Now I didn't have a leak prior to the service , NOW I have a leak. When I returned back to Penske Auto Service my service manager inspected the engine again and noticed, yep you guessed it, a coolant leak. So I left the car with the service manager since they were the last to work on the vehicle for rework. It took 5 days to pressurize the engine to search for leaks. When I finally got the call from the service manager a few days later with the results I thought that the repairs would have been covered, NOPE it wasn't covered; I'm told by the service manager that they didn't touch that part of the engine when servicing my entire cooling system. This service cost me another $780.00, so much for Christmas presents. I had been a valued customer of the former FULLER FORD since 2003 and since Penske took over FULLER FORD I have had 3 bad experiences with the service department. I will not be taking my vehicle back.
Geico recommended repair shop. It took two extra days than promised. The trunk door now does not close good and a light that does not work. We took... it back and they were trying to convince us that that’s just the way it is. They also said they cannot fix the light. We can try to find it ourselves and replace it or bring it back and they will replace it. We should be able to take a car into a repair shop and not have to keep going back and forth to get things corrected. Too much time and effort. Not satisifed with these repairs and not recommending to anyone in the future.

This is about the 5th or 6th time I took my vehicle to this dealership, really only choice I had due to recall issue. Every time I’ve taken my vehicle... there has always been a bad experience. This time was even worse than previous. They did not communicate with me that my car would need to stay overnight. The next day, I called and they only had 1 customer service advisor working. It took 3 calls and 2 hours until I finally reached the dealership general manager who finally contacted the customer service manager who contacted me. This was another horrible experience at Fuller/ Penske Ford.

First of all and the bottom line is the BCM on the 2012 Mustang was repaired. That said, it took two trips to the Penske dealership in Chula Vista to... get this accomplished. The problem was the car's tire sensor light and dome lights were staying on after the car was started. The 1st time I went I was told it was going to be $135 each to check each issue, I chose to check the tire sensor light. It was not explained to me that the BCM did not control tire sensor light. The person who did the diagnostic test blamed an after-market alarm and amplifier (which had been disconnected prior to gong to the dealership). I took the car to reputable mechanic who told me the BCM was faulty. The mechanic also said neither the alarm nor the amplifier would effect the BCM. I returned the 2nd time and told the service person (who I don't want to get in trouble) what the mechanic said and this time I wanted the dome light issue and BCM checked. I was reassigned to Leo Cuenca who knew about BCMs and its code issues. The problem was some of the Mustang's BCM codes had been missing so they re-programed the BCM to include the missing codes. Leo was very professional and explained everything to me. The Mustang has been driven for two days and the car is running as should be.
