At the current state of this service department I would highly suggest that you look for somewhere else to get work done on your vehicle.
I have made two calls and one chat message to Groove Subaru asking for a price for an oil change. The line was busy, the chat person could not give me... a price and twice I LEFT MY NUMBER for them to call back. NO RESPONSE. No response is poor service.
I just bought my first brand new car ever, after LOTS of research at different dealerships and test drives. I chose Groove Subaru of Silverthorne after... being referred there by a friend and I could not possibly be happier with the incredible customer service I received. Jeff and his team did a fantastic job of making us feel appreciated and valued as customers. They worked quickly (my car had been totaled so I needed a replacement quickly) and even drove the car over to Eagle to deliver it. I ask a LOT of questions and Jeff and Joe (who walked me through the car upon delivery) were super patient and friendly. I have not a doubt that I bought the best car for our family and got a great, fair price. I did not once feel "sold to" and in fact, quite the opposite. I felt that they really listened to my needs, concerns and questions about buying used (which I've always done) or new and leasing. I ended up leasing after comparing all the scenarios. I could not possibly have asked for a better customer experience. Thanks Jeff, Joe and Groove Subaru of Silverthorne! :-)
Great experience, all the way around, from the sales experience to the purchase of our new car. Thanks Groove! Grateful to have you in our hometown.
Groove in Silverthorne is definitely the place to shop for a new or used car. We've purchase 3 cars from this dealership and their process takes the hassle... and doubt out of buying a new car! They really do make it EASY!
I came to Groove Subaru and another Subaru Dealer through the Truecar website when I needed to replace my car that was totaled in an accident. Seth Cohen,... of Groove, responded to my email and my buying experience with him and the rest of the staff was top notch. Seth offered to accompany me to return my rental car and Jeff, the Manager, even filled up my rental before I returned it, which amazed me. They addressed my concerns about past issues in their service department and I would definitely recommend them. I hope to own my Outback for many years and write the same type of review for their service department.
We just bought our second Subaru from Seth Cohen. These last two purchases are the easiest auto purchases we have ever made! Even better Seth delivered... our car to Steamboat Springs on a Saturday night. What an awesome salesman! Seth will give you a great price, great service and with no hassles. We did our homework and talked to 7 dealers. Seth was by far the best.
Do not purchase a vehicle here!! I purchased a used vehicle that supposedly went through their 130 point inspection, I was provided a Clean Carfax that... showed no damage or accidents.....fast forward a year later...I was in the process of trading in this vehicle and was informed that the Carfax showed structural damage! The damage was prior to my ownership which should have been on the Carfax provided to me. Jeff the GM agreed that the structural damage report dropped the value of the vehicle by $9-$10k but said its not their fault and they can’t do anything for me because they can’t take a loss like that. So I guess I have to take the hit on $10k! Buyer beware!!
Great experience with no pressure. Dan Blaise was friendly and competent. The no haggle price was the best I found on the internet for a low milage Prius.
I wish I could say I recommended Groove Subaru. If you would have asked me that question about 4 months ago I would have given them a 5 star review to... anyone. I purchased a 2017 Subaru Legacy that was Certified. The dealership sales man Patrick was great to work with. When buy the car the Carfax stated a minor accident. But, the car was certified and I had the peace of mind that my car is completely fixed and good to go. About 2 months ago I went to go sell my legacy in Florida, where I now reside. Not needing the Legacy with all its bells and whistle for the snow anymore! The dealer I went to told me that they would offer me 8k for a car worth around 21k. I was shocked with this offer and the salesman told me that there had been structural damage on majority of my car reported to Carfax. This damage was related to the accident that I knew about! When I found this out I then contacted the dealership and I was told I needed to contact Carfax. After tries after tries and help I was able to get Carfax to respond to my email! Carfax told me that they were not able to do anything. I then contacted the dealer and spoke with the General Manger of Groove Subaru and he basically told me that I could definitely get 21k or around that number for my car. Even with the structural damage. He was not very understanding with my situation and told me that my situation was not unique at all! (Which is very scary for past and future customers). After I was dumbfounded with his response, I went to three dealership to try to sell it and they all said that they wouldn’t even consider trading it or buying it! I am in a huge mess now!!! I am payments to a car that is worth nothing! I would not recommend going to any of the Groove Dealers as the do not check the vehicle to make sure that every thing was sound before I bought it. If you look at the hood of my car the gap on one side is larger than the other side. My car also loves to shut off on me as I am driving down the street! Please be careful when buying here, as I would hate if this happened to anyone else!!!
