Lane Cook

Money Carlo Scam

I had read about this scam being investigated by other states, but thought this dealership was above the scam. Our salesman immediately told us it was a ploy to bring traffic to this location. He was nice and I respect him. However, to try to scam seniors to drive this far believing they had won $2000 was below this dealership's reputation! Shame on you! Even the small wording didn't clarify the scam! Will tell all our friends and associates!

We are very sorry to hear your comments. Our intention was never to mislead anyone into thinking they had already won the $2000 but that they had a chance to win the $2000 and an entry into the car giveaway. If you look at our Facebook page you will see that someone did win the $2000 and another person won the car giveaway. Everyone won a prize of at the least a $5 Walmart gift card. We will be sure any future promotions are clearer to our customers as we would like to earn your business not loss it. Thank You for letting us know.

Mailer sent out with a prize pickup

A prize mailer sent by mail, results showing a prize had been won. With no actual small print describing what a sales person concluded was the prize system. No more than a misrepresented way to lure customers I to dealer. How sad.
