I have been looking for a dependable truck for my farm. I found what appeared to be a decent looking, well priced truck on their lot. On arrival, I was... handed off to a couple of people before being assigned a dealer. Once I looked over and test drove the truck, I noticed a couple of items of concern (one repair potentially costing $2,000, per RAM once I called). I offered to make a down payment pending an independent inspection from a vehicle specific shop (RAM). I was flat out told by Maddie (a manager) that they wouldn't undermine their service shop by making a sale contingent on a shop they had no control over. Please note that this truck had not been inspected by their own shop first - they were selling a truck that had not even had a basic safety inspection performed before being listed for sale. I was told I could take it to any shop I liked, but if it sold before I could arrange that, that was my tough luck. This was the first time I had ever dealt with a dealer that wasn't willing to take a refundable deposit based on a pre-sale inspection with an independent shop. That's called due diligence, something all buyers should be doing and dealers openly accepting. I was pre-approved by my bank before going as I knew I'd be buying a truck soon and to make the process faster and easier for me. At first Luz (dealer) told me they "may not accept outside financing" but was told they changed their mind when I told them I was walking out the door. They told me I'd have to fill out a credit application with them so they could submit it to my bank for approval - even though I was already approved from my bank. Again, I refused to do that. They also added almost $2,000 in fees/options to the list price. It wasn't until I pointed out all the add-on fees and double charging a $600 'process fee' that they changed the numbers. They apologized for their "mistake" because "most of their clients want those options." They also told me that running my credit again wouldn't hurt it, which I know isn't true, as I work in finance. Again, I tried to arrange a down payment with contingent sale but was turned down. I was told I could give them $500 to hold the truck, but if the vehicle passed THEIR inspection, I'd lose my deposit if the other shop found something and I wanted to not purchase the truck. Maddie was very confrontational and seemed personally offended that I wanted to buy a truck with an independent shops verification that it didn't need major repairs. By the way, the ram had the error message "911 vehicle phone needs service" on the display. This fix can be up to $2000 in parts and labor from Ram. She claimed that to be cosmetic in nature and wouldn't be part of their safety inspection. I'm sorry, but the truck has a built in modem that calls 911 in the event of an emergency with a press of a button (on the mirror). This function is independent of your mobile phone - I see that as a safety feature, not a cosmetic one. Again, she disagreed and was very hostile about me not wanting to give them $500 non-refundable cash on the spot. She also wouldn't say, exactly, what the inspection would entail, other than "what the state of TN requires" and "make sure you can get from point A to B." All this shady behavior made me pass on doing business with BMW of Nashville. I cannot and will not recommend this dealer to anyone.
I was seriously interested in a 340 I and had an independent mechanic even look at it for me. With no notice Sergiu just sold the car to another buyer.... Don't trust these dudes.
The best thing about BMW of Nashville is: Jeph Simmons(Service Mgr) and Hugh Newets (Sales): their service. Service at the purchase, and service when having... your car cared for. I've been a customer with BMW/Nashville for nearly ten years, and I've bought cars new and had service done on those cars through the years, in warranty and after warranty. Hugh recently helped me with a purchase, and it was the best purchasing experience I have had, ever.
After test drive, inspection, and bought BMW X5 CPO, They took a car to clean up. The service team didn't even check during the cleanup and detail they... scratched a passenger-side door I mean car hit it not small den. I had to point out and they ask me to come back a few days to pick up. I took the vehicle home and found there was another 1 inches leather scratch and crack on second-row driver side. Call them back and they asked go-to leather restoration for repair. Sale person was lack of knowledge He told me carplay is free and yes it is free but you have to call BMW and pay 300 for the app in 208 model which I think it is not free. Very bad experience and would not recommend it to any one
Incompetent sales staff and managers. Especially if you have the unfortunate experience of dealing with the uneducated sales person named Aziz. This is... not a place you want to purchase a vehicle from. Had a horrible experience with lack of follow up and keeping of promises made by the dealership when looking to purchase a car. They pulled a bait and switch in having running a finance application on a vehicle that they knew was sold. Now my credit has multiple hits from this one dealership and they know the car would not be available, they sold it to someone else. And no one reached out to me for days to tell me the car was sold. I had to keep calling daily until the day 4 when I spoke with the sales manager who told me the car was sold and they are sorry. Well sorry doesn't cut it. You have ran my credit falsely and now when I go to purchase from a better dealership, that is going to be additional credit inquiry hits on my credit. My advise, save yourself the problem and terrible experience, look elsewhere for better customer service and staff who actually keep their word. Learn from my experience.
Benjamin was our client advisor, and he made the whole experience a good one. He was very friendly and informative while making sure we got exactly what... was best for our needs. Bought a used Nissan Rogue at a great value and am very pleased with the purchase and whole experience.
My friend bought a Mercedes-Benz c300 4matic about one week ago, i was with her during the test drive about 10 mins ,everything was fine.Until we drove... home, we found the COLLISION ASSIST PLUS INOPERATIVE message on the screen. Although she bought it in 'as is' condiction, but we want to make sure everything the dealer inspected was fine which means BMW of Nashville didn't hide the problem. We asked three days, in return they give to us a C D Inspection, what is C D?? Who knows. Anyway, this report inspected tire pressure , breaks. Expcet the ECU. In recall, when i ask the sales to see their inspection reports ,anyhow he excuse to give me that, but promise everything they inspected will be fine, i trust him. This dealer sells car without 360 degrees inspected, they didn't even read the error code, they explained : that would be different for buyer.. xxx? Make sure get everything checked before you buy a car!!!, and bring a pro come with youss!
I had bought a BMW from Sonic in Chattanooga 2 years ago, and was very pleased with everything. I needed another BMW and went to their website where i... saw a car i liked, called the number but unbeknownst to me that car was in Nashville, asked the sales rep for the best price out the door and they sent me 2 different offers, both with plenty of ad-ons that are xxxxxxxx and their warranty which was almost 3K, plus $500.00 to drive the car 2 hours from Nashville to Chattanooga, i was dealing with i think 3 different people, I think they were very unethical, as the car shows one price, then they ad another 5K of their worthless options. I have bought 8 BMW's from dealers but i think this experience trying to buy a car was the worst. I sent the manager an email but never heard back
The most manipulative and dishonest company ive dealt w in decades!! THEY WILL MESS WITH YOUR CREDIT!! I made an offer on the car, and after waiving all... of their fees, they accepted my offer. The salesman asked me if I would fill out a credit report...I told him I was concerned because Nashville BMW had some very bad reviews, and in some cases RUINED A CUSTOMERS CREDIT. The salesman assured me that was a thing of the past and they had changed their practices. I told him IF the car is mine that they could run my credit...Otherwise I told him not to process my credit report. Twice I offered to give him a deposit. He ran my credit report !!!!!! Then 5 hours later they called me to tell me that they had sold my car!!! Then they tried to sell me a similar car but with fewer options but with almost twice as many miles and $3,000. There is a reason I have great credit and it's because I usually don't deal w people like Nashville BMW or SONIC Dealerships. Look at their reviews...This is not the first time they've done this to customers. It is a trend.
Would give them a minus one if I could. I am from Chattanooga. I made an offer on a 2013 BMW. After they agreed they then accepted my credit card deposit.... The salesman called back the next day and said that the car had sold for the full listed price. I guess it is about money not honor.
