****CAR INDEX BUYERS BEWARE***** Car Index sold me a lemon. I purchased a 2015 Audi A3 with 17,000 miles. I should have known the car was questionable... by the way the salesman Mark was trying to cram it down my throat. I purchased the car the third week of June with an engine/trans warranty extended warranty. After relocating out of state in July the car started having problems including almost immediately. Issue 1: The handle tap auto lock feature stopped working. When I called Cars Index they told me to just replace the battery in the key fob, which I did. The issue still persists. Issue 2: In August warning notifications of ‘ABS malfunction’, ‘hold assist disabled’ and ‘passengers air bag off’ came on. I took it to a local Audi dealership who advised that the ABS module is dead and would need to be replaced, which was not covered under the warranty. A $3600.00 repair. They stated that they could not address any of the other issues until the ABS issue was resolved. I called Cars Index and was told they would get back to me but never did. Issue 3: Last week the car wouldn’t start with a warning notification to ‘turn off ignition, drained battery’. I replaced the battery, but the issue still persists. In the last 7 days I’ve had to call road side assistance to jump the car 4 time. Two out of the four jumps were unsuccessful. I’ve had the car towed to two different shops, neither of which were unable to diagnose the problem. I was told that it may be the alternator, though it was not indicated during the diagnostic. I called Cars Index and was told they would speak with the owner and get back to me. I never received a call. Issue 4: Today when I attempted to start the car, it again failed to start. Showing a warmings of ‘faulty brake system’, and ‘electrical system malfunction’. And the engine light is on. This is all in conjunction with the other error messages. I have been sending Cars Index pictures of the dash with all the lights and warnings. Yet nothing has been done. They haven’t offered to compensate me for the three separate diagnostic fees, for the 4 jumps or the 2 tows. They have not offered to work with a shop or Audi dealership in my area to address the issues and pay for the repairs. I have been stranded four times, with children in the car, waiting for help. I’m not sure what needs to happen before Car Index will admit that they sold me a lemon. Let my experience be a forewarnings before you think about purchasing a car from Cars Index.
Went it to buy a vehicle and trade one in. I told the GM we would pay full price. He gave me a trade-in number for my jeep, then said he would get back... to me. I talked to him each day about when are we going to transact the deal. Looked me in the eyes saying I guarantee I will get back to you. Strung me out for three days then sold the car I wanted without even letting me know. This place is nothing but a house of cards and lies.

we had a deal for a vehicle, we talked about all fees and i drove 90 miles to there just buy the car but he changed price and added something else. I waste... my time, gas and money for them and please stay away from them.
