I was communicating with the sales person via email. We agreed on a final OTD price. Everything was documented in email. I go test drive the car and when... ready to buy salesman comes up with a price about $2k more than agreed. Manager comes in and says their offer was a mistake.
Salesman was great and nice. Little hard to understand, but I got the deal I wanted and an awesome car! Would recommend to a friend.
Cudos to Chad Hickey and Tim Chapman ... I had to replace my car ... have been to 3 dealerships after an extensive computer search. The first two took... forever just to test drive one car at one dealership and two cars at another. Pretty unorganized. One was asking down payment information when all I wanted at that time was to test drive a car to see if I even liked it -- talk to me after about funds. My trip to Hiley Hyundai of Fort Worth was a pleasant surprise. We were met immediately and within probably 8 minutes, were out test driving the Santa Fe that I had requested. Tim Chapman took me and my husband for the test drive ... he explained many of the features before I did the test drive and other features after the drive. I requested to see a different color -- he went out and brought one in blue to the front for me to see. I ended up purchasing the first one (a red one). They immediately took me went back and did the paperwork. The finance guy was great too -- apologize, I forgot your name but you made things easy for me. So far I love the car -- quiet and comfortable drive (and very sharp looking). Anyway, I felt that they cared what I wanted and did whatever they could to help me to achieve it.
I was in the market for a Hyundai Tucson and this dealership had a good deal on a Certified Tucson. I had my own financing and a trade with equity so I... assumed it would be easy. After spending three hours getting the salesman info on my financing and trade-in, I tried to put a deposit on the car to hold it. At this point the salesman emailed me stating that someone had walked through the door and was getting financing for the vehicle and that he would let me know if it fell through. I was quite literally the first person in line for the vehicle with financing in hand and this dealership decided to sell it out from under me for a quicker sale. This seems like a terrible way to do business in my opinion and I would caution anyone wanting to purchase vehicles here.
I went here and after having to fight with them to get the advertised price that is plain as day on the website bought a new Hyundai Kona. After reviewing... the paperwork I found that the "exterior protection package" sold as a dealer installed option was actually a warranty. This warranty stated that they had applied the RoadVantage protection system to the interior and exterior of the car. Upon questioning the dealership about this this product and asking to see it, they refused. It turns out that this specifically mentioned product does not in fact exist. So instead of refunding the money for this product that they could not have possibly applied they gave me back my trade and went back on the sale 3 days after the fact.
Bad advertising practices- the advertised price isn't the price you get unless you're a military veteran college student. When advised the price was... $1500 higher than advertised, we attempted to leave. We were stopped by the manager and told the advertised price could be matched but the dealer adds had to stay ($600 window tint, etc.). Once the "adds" were added to the price, it was higher than advertised but still seemed acceptable. Once in finance, we reviewed the contract and found that the "adds" that had raised the price were also on the contract as line items. Upon presenting this discrepency to the management team, we were informed that the dealership was "losing three grand on the front end so we were making it up on the back..." They refused to correct their error and honor the original deal. If you're going to shop here, watch your final contract carefully. This team is highly trained and will tell you one thing and do another. BEWARE!
Incorrect website description. They put a car on the website that is a service loaner vehicle which is still under the service contract. They cannot sell... the car for the next 3 months since it is under contract.
Nothing but the best. Seth Boutin General Sales Manager , Allen Glover General Manager Rick Thurstan Finance Manager, Sonja Turner New Car Sales. All... of the above mentioned made the process of buying a car like ordering an Ice cream cone at Baskin Robins. Refreshing process. Here is a bit of the story, my sibling required a new vehicle. I offered to assist. I live in Los Angeles, so with time changes Email was easier, I sent out nine emails. How many responses ? Just One. From Seth Boutin at Hiley Hyundai, Mazda. One small email one day, a chat and the deal signed the next day.I always give reviews based on the service. Not because I did not get what I wanted or because I may have personal finance problems or want to buy more than I can afford. That is quite unfair, as I read through some of the reviews. No one would help me , sounds like a personality flaw. While I expect to be served, I realize I am not the only customer. No disrespect to any reviewer. In the Auto industry their is a term (Could not replicate) such as vibrations, noise etc). Meaning they do not know where or what it is, unless you can be specific about the problem. Buying a vehicle: Do your research, duplicate in writing what your needs are. When comparing price remember to compare features. All Automotive businesses are not bad, more than likely none of them. But as referenced above they are a business with overhead, etc. They have to make money. It’s give and take and compromise with your research about automobile values. The business owners expect a monthly closing statement that shows that all sales were fair in regard to vehicle pricing and at the bottom they made a profit. It serves no purpose to overcharge someone, or they will not come back. Every operating business requires return customers to operate. Sometimes a busy salesperson with a client who is not clear turns south when reality and communication clash. In this day and age everyone knows research is on the Internet through trusted sights. If you go to a dealership without a vehicle in mind, what the price range is etc, your going to be frustrated. If you go and do not know your credit score and what payment you qualify for, shame on you the consumer.I am not an expert I have owned 26 vehicles in 41 years starting with used cars that could fall apart to luxury BMW’s Lexus and Mercedes. I have seen it all. The above is not bragging, I have worked since I was 13, my effort, my money. I am just giving my two cents. Hiley Hyundai, Mazda is great at what they do based on our expierence. Personable , customer centric patient. Our expierence was as good as it gets.
The most garbage customer service you will experience! Very unprofessional and over all not good at their jobs
Super happy with the buying experience at Hiley. Worked with Sonja and she went above and beyond to make us satisfied customers. She listened to everything... that we requested and followed through. Got an awesome deal on the car we purchased.
Thank you John!
