I purchased a smaller vehicle to help with gas mileage and to save some wear on my main car. These guys were great from start to finish. I initially spoke with Jackie, who was awesome to speak with and then met with John to test drive the car and purchase. Even though higher end cars are their bread and butter, I never felt like a lesser customer. The finance guys were even great! Didn’t take a whole lot of time to complete the purchase, which is always a nice surprise. Would highly recommend SJL Motors to anyone!

SJL Motors definitely fits the stereotypes we associate with "used care salesman" but I'm still giving them 5/5 stars for one simple reason: they were by a large margin the cheapest place to get a Tesla Model S. It was a few years ago now but I believe I worked with Virgil as the salesman and Paul on the money side of things. Virgil is a big personality but both he and Paul treated me fairly. I flew to Chicago and drove the car home to Minnesota and I had people talk to me at the supercharger when they saw the dealer sticker giving me the whole "so....what did you think of them." Very similar thing happened again when I posted my new Tesla in the local Facebook tesla group, got a DM with a the whole "so yeah SJL...." But again, cheapest Model S I could find. End of the day I'm gonna go with the place that sells it to me cheaper 10/10 times. One thing to watch out for, if you buy a Tesla from them make sure they get you a charge cord as it may not come with one. I had to ask for one and was told the same thing by other people that bought from them
