    Do not do business with this car lot it’s a scam these guys lie and give you the run around about everything you will regret doing business with them

    I have purchased a 2010 Kia forte on February 19th. Repairs that were promised to be made,we're not. When I picked up the car all the problems still existed... when I called The salesman Doug Knight, He gave me the run-around for over a week. Finally I brought the car back.I told Him that it was passed 10 days which the contract States they have to refund my money because the car was not operable. He told me to give him some time he'd have to talk to the owner Barry Amodou. Finally Barry called me He referred to problems that weren't with my car.He had me confused with another unsatisfied customer. He told me he would not give me a refund I told him about the contract stating he has to try to fix it at least three times he told me he wasn't going to.I told him the contract also states you have to give me a total refund if the car has been down for 10 days or more.Which was the case. He told me that was for large car dealerships it didn't apply to him.Barry also stated he did not care if I called the Consumer bureau or the Better business bureau, I was not getting my money back. Barry and Doug have stopped corresponding with me. Blocking my number as well. The paperwork was not correct for the price and for my down deposit Doug pocketed $205.00 of my deposit.He told me it went to the finance company. I contact the finance company they said it wasn't given to them. It took me over two weeks and contacting the police for Doug to give me the $205.00 back.Now they have the car since March 5th. They have my down deposit.they have full payment from the Finance company totaling $4, 100.00 I have a car payment and insurance payment. I paid at the registry and for my inspection sticker and I still have not heard back from them. Total,Total scam job. I am a disabled mother and was using Part of my Social securitydisability to finance this car. So Doug was well aware I was disabled person.This is causing a whole lot of hardship to me. Along with stress and anxiety! I also have to pay people to drive me. I have contacted the Consumer Bureau of Attorney General's just like the previous person that placed a review.I'm referring to Blaine. Hopefully now that there's another complaint maybe the Attorney General's office will do something about Doug Knight and Barry Amodou criminal practice. I also contacted the Better Business Bureau. They have contacted Intelly motors and has not received a response yet! Like you Blaine, I'm going to file with court as well these people need to be held accountable by someone! Blaine, I hope you write a review when you " WIN" your case .I'm not even going to wish you Best of Luck, you don't need it.

    My experience with Intelly Motors has been an absolute nightmare that will finally end in court this month. I am just going to give the major issues and... not how totally dishonest they were with me. On 8/16/2018 I signed a sales agreement with Intelly Motors to purchase a used Ford F-150 truck that was for sale on their lot. On 8/29/2018 I received notice from Intelly Motors that I could pick up my vehicle. During that time period they contacted me and asked me if I would split the cost of new tires for the truck and I agreed. Short of one mile after leaving Intelly Motors I became aware that both my rear brake lights and rear turn signal lights were not working. I returned the vehicle and told them I couldn’t believe that they never made a final inspection of the truck and let me drive off in a vehicle that was unsafe. They told me they would fix the problem along with the Air conditioning which was not blowing cold air. On 9/14/2018, after being notified that I could pick up my vehicle I returned to Intelly Motors and took the truck. When I took the truck for the Mass Inspection sticker it failed both Emissions and Safety. I returned the vehicle to Intelly and they said they would fix the problems. When I had bought the truck I was concerned about the amount of time between my purchase and delivery. I asked the salesman, “it will pass inspection right?”, the salesman told me, “we can’t sell you a vehicle that doesn’t pass Mass inspection.” After Intelly motors called me that the truck was all set I picked it up but it again failed the inspection. I also noticed very large amounts of oil on my driveway after the vehicle had been parked for 2 nights. After 6 nights I had to start parking the truck on the grass because my driveway was getting destroyed. I took the truck to a repair shop and was told it would need: Timing Cover Gaskets, Valve Cover Gaskets, Crankshaft Oil Seal and other work totaling $1,989.00. On 10/9/2018 the vehicle had to be jump started 3 times to make home. On 10/10/2018 I had it towed to Intelly to address this issue along with the large oil leaking and repair costs. On 10/24/2018 I spoke with Intelly on the phone. I was told they had replaced the alternator but in regard to the other issues they did not want to put any more money in the vehicle and would buy it back. We met on 11/2/2018 and they agreed to buy it back but said they had 30 days to do so. I didn’t know if legally they were right or not but I agreed just being happy to sell it back. After the weekend was over I sent Intelly an email thanking them for meeting with me and for agreeing to buy back the vehicle. I was received an email response from Intelly on 11/8/2018 and they had changed the buyback period to 60 days. To try to wrap this up after the 60 days Intelly would not answer my phone calls, emails and text messages. I tried getting help from various agencies including the BBB and the Consumer Advocacy Division of the Attorney General. The BBB replied that Intelly would not respond to their latest inquiry and the Attorney General will not act on behalf of a single consumer. They did say they would keep this on record and they guided me on how to proceed in court action. The vehicle was returned to Intelly in October of last year and has been there since. I am still making payments on the vehicle at this time (04/05/2019) including insurance and excise tax. I can’t buy another vehicle because I still have this loan and I know I can never get all the money I have lost back. Luckily, it was a second vehicle for me and I do believe I will win in court.
