Good people. Great experience buying a Certified Used Honda! George, the Internet Sale Manager was a busy guy but he was super responsive when I sent... me inquiry online . Upon arrival, made sure he greeted me and had us taken care of by a knowledgable sales associate. He checked in with us during the sales process and made sure to touch base with me before I departed. Gabriel was our Sales Associate and he was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. He coordinated our test drive based on my concerns on how the car felt in certain conditions and was patient with me and my wife as we tried things out then discussed everything. He answered all the questions he could, found the answers he didnt know outright and addressed all out concerns. (He also had a good sense of humor!) Oscar was our Finance Manager who was personable, friendly and extremely effective in answering any questions about the process AND getting everything done in a timely manner. This was not the fastest process I've gone through but it was the most comfortable for both myself and my wife. Nice people, nice dealership space, and oh, also met Charlie the GM who also was quite friendly and helpful i helping us find a piece of info on the car that we had forgotten to ask about. All in all, a fantastic experience, and all this on a weekend where they were quite busy! But we never felt ignored nor disrespected and time actually flew by. Highly recommend these staff members though from what I could see it seems the place is full of friendly helpful staff, the way any Honda dealer should be!
A week after I purchased my car asked them to remove the one hundred thousand miles warranty, I did signed a cancellation documents but no refund was send... to my lender. I had to go again but still no refund to the lender. I’m getting the run around yesterday the person I spoke was rude. Base on the lender this is something easy to do but obviously they either not want to do a refund or simply making more time. In the meantime I have to pay interest fees. They automatically added without asking me in the first place. I purchased a new car at this location last year got into an accident was a total loss by the insurance, come back to same location purchased another, not the same stuff then I learned it was under new management definitely not the best personnel, rude and don’t help you to fix the problem nor they have the curtesy of emailing me for updates on the problem! The first time I went there the guy made it easy and simple, the second time it was a lady she was nice made some copies but the bank never receive the refund, yesterday I went back again, the guy was rude and give a bad look! They assume I’m one naive woman but I’m not! I’m documenting everything because they wasted enough of my time!! Will I ever purchased another Honda again? I’m not sure but definitely NOT at this location!!
I shopped all over an got my best deal on a new Honda CRV with Raul. He was patient with me as I am an analytical buyer comparing all the finance options... as well as advantages/disadvantages of leasing and financing. He supplied me with all the information I needed. The dealership was taken over by a new owner in January and there are still a few kinks to work out. The owner has successfully opened a number of different dealerships and is committed to customer service. I gave them 5-stars as they have a great selection of cars, a pleasant shopping environment and people committed to doing a great job. As a Morgan Hill resident, I like to support local businesses. If you purchase a new or used vehicle or just plan on having your vehicle serviced at Victory Honda, check out their CarDoc service program. I don't usually buy into service programs, but this one appears to be a pretty good deal. Check it out and see if it works for you. With the way service costs keep going up, it is worth considering. Once I take my car in for service, I will be able to comment on how well they take care of me. Stay tuned!
Thank you very much, Neil!
I had service work done by Morgan Hill Honda (owned at the time by Stevens Auto Group) on December 17, 2018. The work involved installing a trailer hitch... and harness on my Honda Odyssey for the amount of $1200. The service work was not done properly as the wrong harness was installed. I had paid for the work before I inspected the work and realized the problem. I immediately went back to the dealer (same day ) and explained the problem. They were unable to get the correct harness installed so I requested a refund in the amount of $13. After three trips back to the dealer, trying to get my $113 refund, on January 29, 2019 after being very patient up to this point, I went back to the dealer again only to to find out the dealership had been purchased by Victory Automotive Group and the former Morgan Hill Honda is now Victory Honda of Morgan Hill. I again inquired to follow-up on my refund. The Service Manger said he needed to discuss with the new GM of the dealership concerning my $113 refund request. After waiting 15 minutes, the service manager came back noting the GM's decision was that I needed to call the prior owner of the dealership to resolve my problem. Victory Honda apparently tried a few times to contact the prior owner but were not able to get the refund from the prior owner of the dealership. Thus, the service manager told me that I need to resolve this problem myself. I requested to talk to the GM (Charles Seaboch). I explained to Mr. Seaboch my sad story and he said that it was my problem and I should call the prior owner of the dealership pointing out the " Victory Honda sign on the building and stating "this dealership" did not provide the service. I told Mr. Seaboch that is BS emphatically. Mr. Seaboch told one of his associates to call the police due to my profanity ( I guess he never heard BS before?) and apprently because I pointed my index finger at him. Victory Automotive Group bought the dealership in January and it is my position they should have honored the prior obligations of the business they bought and Victory Honda" should have settled direct with the prior owner of the dealership...not make a "loyal Honda customer" (me) do so. I feel if they fly the Honda emblem they need to provide the outstanding customer service that loyal Honda customers like me ( bought my first Honda accord in 1982) and considering I had been trying to settle this since December 17, 2018 and made 3 trips to the dealership and considering I was only asking for a refund of $113...(the material cost of the incorrect harness that had been installed). Mr. Seaboch obviously doesn't value his customers and would rather threaten them by calling the police if they register what I feel was a very valid complaint and was only asking for $113 refund on $1200 of work. Mr. Seaboch has successfully turned a loyal Honda customer to one that will NEVER buy a Honda again and will never step foot in Victory Honda of Morgan Hill again. I recommend you stay away from this place based on the above.
We are very sorry to read this, Ron. We are working to improve moving forward.
