I am writing this complaint for my father heng Fan li whose english is very limited. He went to purchase a 2016 Mercedes Benz E class on 10/11/2019 for... a agreed price of $25,044 at AMG Auto Trade. While he was there, he was met with a sales person named Julio Estrada. My dad wanted to pay the car off all at once but the sales person stated to my dad that he would not be able to pay the car off all at once due to financial restrictions. He stated to my father that he could pay a $10,000 down payment $2574 in fees and then sign a loan for $42465 with TCU. He stated that the loan will be canceled by the dealership once my dad makes 4 months payments and pay the remaining balance of 12476 to Mr. Estrada intermittently within 3 months. He stated the loan must be that amount because it included the mandatory gap warranty. Very naive of my dad that he actually believed Mr. Estrada and paid all the payments requested by Mr. Estrada along with signing a contract loan of $42465. After paying the 4 months payments for the loan, the $10,000 down payment, the $2574 initial fee and then the remaining balance of $12476, the loan contract was never canceled by Mr. Estrada. My dad now owes $42,465 to teachers credit union while at the same time paying $25044 to Mr. Estrada. This was all for a approx $25,000 vehicle. I however do fault my father for even believing that a loan contract can even be canceled by the dealership. I went with my dad to visit AMG auto back in February 2020 to attempt to solve the situation but the dealership stated Mr. estrada has been fired and they are not responsible for any of his transactions. Mr. Estrada is now nowhere to be found and my father has been scammed. For the sake of curiousity, I googled the sales person's name along with the dealership "Julio Estrada AMG Auto". The search results were astonishing as it lead to many news articles detailing prior arrests of Mr. Estrada with various car defrauding scams. Mr. Estrada was a career criminal.
Bought a truck and still in debt for it. They never took my $5000 down payment of the price of the truck and the loan officer took money and never paid... the bank. Julio the loan officer is not getting back to me. I have been trying to get issue resolved for close to a year now. My next step will to file with the police.
The absolute WORST ! I’ve been dealing with this company since October 2019 From one car with nothing but problems dealing with the agreements and paperwork... and lies to getting put into a new car because of julios xxxx up ! Love my new car . pay a $600 car payment for my car but yet I’ve had my new car since January 2020 and i have NO PLATES YET! My temp tags have been expired since February 8th . Pandemic started the middle of March ! THEY KEEP USING THE DMV EXCUSE however I’ve had my car since January way before the pandemic hit. I’ve tried to be nice I’ve tried to be calm . But these ppl are terrible business ppl and crooks and it’s sad. I will never recommend anyone to them . It’s way to obvious they are scammers ! Which is why I’ve contact the BBB and did a complaint! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE ! BAD BUSINESS .....
The NJ DMV has been closed due to COVID they just reopened the DMV has extended all temp tags for additional time we are sorry for the inconvenience u...nfortunately what's going on is out of our control
DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! I bought an infinite on July 2019 and 1. They refused to give me a final contract. they told me to go the following day... to pick it up. went several times and also the same story--"we need to get your contract from the warehouse". After being on them for weeks I ended up getting a vehicle buyers order...no real contract. 2. They lure you in offering a sweet deal...they told me "after 3 months we will redo your contract and your monthly payments will go down if you make 3 consecutive payments on time" (total lie). None of this is put in writing either.... 3. I purchased over 7K in extended "GAP warranty". I went to an Infiniti dealership to get my vehicle serviced and they did not have information on such warranty. I called them back they refused to give me details on such warranty. I ended up filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In fact after 10 months of contacting this place for answers I finally got this on 5/18/20 from their sales Manager "AND I MY BOSS JUST INFORMED ME YOU STILL OWE US MONEY FOR THE TRUCK THAT YOU NEVER CAME TO PAY BACK". Owe money for what??? these people took a down payment of 10K and charged me for a warranty that doesn't exist and I have yet to get the original contract. TOTAL SCAMMERS!
Based off of your credit and your income you were not able to complete your original deal and you came back in and resigned additional paperwork pleas...e feel free to come in and obtain additional copies of your documents
I MUST SAY I PURCHASED TWO CARS FROM AMG AND I MUST SAY I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER BUYING A CAR ANT HERE PRICES WERE BY FAR THE BEST AROUND YHANKS... AMG
AVOID THIS PLACE,THE AMG AUTO TRADE COMPANY IS NOT THE PLACE TO BUY YOUR CAR!!!This place just wants to profit off of you and the price they give you in... nothing close to what it states it is.DO NOT consider offering downpayment to them because they would just take the cash and still ask the bank for a financing program for the original price of the car instead of asking for a financing program for the money that is left after you give them the downpayment money. This is my story, I went in and offered 8k downpayment and the car I was interested in was originally 17.5k.We came in,saw the car and we were more than happy to buy it the next day, they seemed reasonable when it came to negotiating but it was weird because we asked them to drop the price to 16k(just for the car,not including tax, etc.) and they automatically agreed, any other dealership would try to counter your price until you both agree this place was just shady off the bat.The next day we came in with 8k cash to buy the car from this scamming company, the owner wouldn't give us the final price and he was telling us how he would have to ask the bank for 17.5k finance even tho we would put down 8k, which makes no sense.I mean really,I'm sure there is people out there who would accept this offer because they aren't bright enough to see whats happening, don't let that be you! Instead if this car dealership was legit they would have to ask the bank for a financing program for 9.5k (the rest of the money after you subtract the downpayment from the original price) which would make sense but they wanted the 17.5k 8k(down payment) so they would profit from your downpayment which would make the car worth 25.5k in my situation(the price of the car circulates between 16k-18k).Again, don't get tricked into this scam!! I also have the whole conversation recorded so if anyone is interested in hearing that just leave a response under this review.
The owner is a crook!!!! Stay away or you will regret it. They are very dishonest and only car out their pockets not the buying customer.
They made sure you understand what you or getting in to every step. They took good care of me and made sure I left feeling good
BUYER BEWARE!! OWNER IS A CROOK! DO NOT PURCHASE from this dealer ship!! I bought a 2005 Jeep Cherokee on March 8th 2019 with around 65,000 miles on... it. As soon as I purchased the vehicle the oil pressure light came on. I thought it could be something minor and they said they would look into it the next day. That next morning the engine light came on and they said could not fix it there on sight so they made an appointment with another off-site mechanic. They end getting the oil pressure checked and oil changed (minor). Engine light did not turn off. Mechanic said there were more issues that needed to be addressed with the engine so i left it there. After tallying up over a $400 bill with the mechanic I expressed my dissatisfaction with AMG Auto trade so they offered to pay $200 of it. After the mechanic fixed one of the Cylinders Then mechanic warned me it still may have other issues with potential car overheating. Sure enough , the car would not turn back on. The next morning I immediately brought the car back to the mechanic. After bringing my car there for the THIRD time I said thats it and I want my money back. At this point none of the stress was worth it. They then offered me an extended warranty in order to work something out. I asked if it would cover my issues at hand. They owner said it would cover everything from the engine to the transmission. The following week after numerous car rentals and uber rides I finally get a hold of the salesman. I asked if they needed any info from me from the warranty. They said "no" and that it was all taken care of. After THREE WEEKS of waiting for their insurance to pull through and substantial amount of Rental fees and Uber Rides I finally get a response from them saying that their insurance company would NOT cover it because I dropped the car off INSTEAD of getting it towed!! Then i look at the document for the warranty through their insurance company and they completely ILLEGALY FORGED MY NAME under applicant's signature!!! My issue with this is I asked them if they needed me to come in and sign any paper work PRIOR to any insurance inspection and they said it was all "taken care of." This is completely wrong and immoral in every way. This was their sneaky way of attempting to get a repair done at a fraction of the price. Completely dissatisfied with the position I was in and financially drained from rental and uber fees i said that enough is enough. And said I just wanted my money back. Of course they tried to up sell me into something else but they had absolutley nothing in my price range or liking so i simply asked for my down payment back so I can go elsewhere (that wasn't even including the money I put into a Brand new battery and half the repairs) . The owner refused a return. He said simply "Look, your not getting your money back. Do what you gotta do but you're not getting your money back." "I sold you a car as is and Im PROTECTED". Not even 24 hours within the purchase of this vehicle I had issues that they sneakingly stretched out almost a month. My issue with AMG is simply this: They sold a lemon car. Maybe they didn't know it was a lemon at the time of purchase but it was. After numerous attempts to repair the car and split repair costs they should've simply refunded me my money back or paid for the repair instead of trying to get me in on an illegal insurance claim and forging my signature on a document I never was even shown! I gave AMG several attempts to fix the issue and in the end they will not refund your money. I'm a month within my first purchase and still left without a functioning car. DO NOT trust this dealership. If their offer seems too good to be true, thats because it is. The owner Chris will try up and down to protect himself but at the end of the day a man who practices good business ethics would simply refund you your hard earned money.
We are sorry that you feel that way you purchased a used 2005 Jeep AS IS and you clearly DECLINED to purchase an extended warranty at the time of purc...hase however when you came back the next day to complain about your glove box lock we gave you a free extended warranty for your inconvenience you then drove your car for 600 plus miles and over heated the engine after the engine over heated you continued to drive the truck while over heated and you blew the head gasket besides the fact that you clearly signed paperwork saying you purchased a 14 year old truck AS IS you are responsible for blowing the engine
