Worst Customer Service Department
I booked an online appointment to have my 2016 GMC Canyon?s Infotainment Center looked at, because it had been constantly malfunctioning. My appointment was scheduled for March 18 at 10:30AM. When I showed up for my appointment, the service department nonchalantly told me that the online appointment scheduler didn?t work properly and there was no way they could honor the appointment. They rescheduled me for the following Friday, March 25th, at 8:00 AM. I dropped my Canyon off on the evening of Thursday March 24th, so they would have it first thing in the morning. I heard nothing from the service department and decided to call and find out what was happening with my truck. I called for two hours straight before someone in the service department actually answered. They told me they would call me back soon with an update. They never called. The next day, Saturday March 26, I called the service department all morning and wasn?t able to reach anyone, even though they were supposedly open. I needed my truck, so my wife and I drove to the service department and asked what was happening. I was told that the technician working on my truck had been off since Friday afternoon and wouldn?t be back until Tuesday and that there was no way to know what work needed to be done until they talked to him. I couldn?t be without my truck until Tuesday, so I decided to take my truck. I asked the service department to call me when the technician was back at work and to let me know what the next steps were, an approximate amount of time it would take to fix the issue, and when to bring my truck back for the work to be completed. To this date, April 29th, I have yet to receive the promised phone call. I?ve tried calling several times, and even left a message since no one answered (during the hours they were open). I have never experienced customer service this horrendous with any vehicle I?ve ever owned. This is extremely disappointing, because I really love my Canyon, but because of the terrible service from the service department, I seriously doubt I will be a repeat customer.

Does NOT honor service appointment!
Made service appointment three weeks in advance for a simple 30 minute software update (recall) on my 2015 Yukon. Drove all the way to the dealership only to find nobody at the service desk. One guy eventually showed up but took ten minutes to acknowledge my existence there. He chastised a young lady at a different desk, in front of me, to find the "others" who were "playing" in the back to come and help. When one finally arrived to help me he promptly told me that they did NOT have my reservation and had NO time for me. I showed him several text message reminders I had received in the previous weeks to no avail. My recall remains incomplete. I will NOT be returning to the lousiest service department in existence. NO thank you Lexington Park Chevy!

I'm thrilled that I happened upon this dealership!
I nearly threw in the towel on my new truck search (for all the obvious reasons), when I called to inquire about an in-transit truck that matched my parameters. I was utterly amazed at the level of customer care I received over the phone! Kristen stayed on the phone with me and answered every question as though my needs were the only thing that mattered . When there were questions she could not answer, she was completely forthright and had her Sales Lead (Grant) contact me immediately. Because I was nearly 2 hours away, Grant offered me his internet purchase option but I insisted on buying in person. Brand new car smell mixed with brand new building smell --felt like a kid on Christmas morning!!! Friendly service and cutting edge technology made the whole process a breeze, well worth the trip! I'd bought many cars over the past 27 years, this is the only time a dealership made me feel at home with family. I will definitely buy from them again soon!

Further from DC but worth it
After looking at cars around the DC metro area and being hugely disappointed by what felt like an endless game of bait and switch, I ended up finding a new Buick here online. Kelsey worked with me via email and text; she confirmed price details and even sent photos. We negotiated a price by text, and then Stacey and I discussed terms by phone. Stacey and Mick finalized the process in person and were kind, efficient, and helpful. I Uber-ed there and drove the car home after filling out the paperwork. Everything about the process was smooth and transparent.

Leonardtown Motors - GMC Canyon Elevat. Purchase
Salesman and other employees were courteous and explaining issues that I have had. They helped me find the truck that I could afford and felt comfortable with. The facility has been in Leonardtown since I was growing up in the area and although nice it might be time to rebuild there or elsewhere nearby.

Service Technician Smoking in Customer car
I went to the dealership on Saturday, 2/6/21 per recommendation of a close friend. My wife and I drove through the lot and around the building past the service bay areas with the intention of parking and proceeding with the process of purchasing a vehicle. Upon doing so we noticed one of your service guys working on a vehicle while smoking!!!! We sat and watched for a few minutes in awe. THIS is not ok! My wife immediately was turned off and refused to park and do any business with your dealership. We do not smoke, have never been smokers and to top it off have an asthmatic child where inhalation of smoke of any kind could be detrimental. I would think this is not common practice of your technicians however it only takes once and if smoking in or near a customers vehicle happens once it may happen again. We were saddened that this was taking place and we ended up taking our business elsewhere despite the raves from our close friend. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be aware of this issue and correct! It is not ok! Just as there is no smoking in restaurants and every other public place there shouldn’t be in the service industry either. Car maintenance is necessary just as any other household maintenance. Would you let your hvac tech come into your home with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and puffing smoke while servicing your furnace? I’d like to bet NOT! In my opinion, there is no difference. I would expect that this issue would raise some concern with management and will be resolved before another potential or existing customer witnesses it like we did. Thank You.
