My experience buying a car with Vroom was as smooth as butter and EASIER and LESS STRESSFUL than buying a car "the old fashioned" way. I think the main... thing that scares people about buying a car online is that you can't "see" the product and you don't interact with anyone in person. There are many angry people reviewing vroom talking about how "horrible" the customer support was etc etc... I'd imagine those people would find a way to complain learning to tie their shoes much less attempting to buy a car. If the customer support is a concern, let me assure you that the customer support you receive with vroom is 10/10 TOP NOTCH!! They were extremely easy to work with and were very able to do whatever was needed to give me peace of mind and address any concerns I had. You can tell that management doesn't tie them down with a lot of restrictive policies and rules - the support employees are problem solvers and were a joy to work with. SHOUT OUT to Jeremy - he was the rep that helped me learn about and subsequently purchase my car. I was very skeptical about online car buying at first but the way he handled my questions and requests up front gave me the confidence I needed to make a purchase. After I bought the car, I was contacted EVERY DAY by a rep to let me know the status of my car shipment. The car arrived earlier than expected, a welcome surprise, and was communicated to me every step along the way. My ONLY complaint is that the car could've been a smidge cleaner when it arrived, but I'd imagine their team that prepares cars for shipping must be very busy :P All in all, I would recommend vroom to anyone looking to buy a car.
Had a few issues when vehicle was dropped off, but Vroom took care of the issues after following up with them about the issues. Overall I had a good experience.... The best part of everything was the convenience of not having to spend a half day at a dealership to buy a car.

I gave it four stars just because the process was easy, I didn't get any information on how the car runs, it wasn't fully detailed but clean enough to... sell, just spent 50k on a car w no manual, and the handle broke when lifting the seat up for the back seat third row. The driver didn't get the vehicle delivered to my house because he said it was too many hard turns and where I live dozers and ex wide rigs come by my place all the time.
I'm 62 years young and this was my first time buying a Vehicle online. Wow, what a Great experience! Everything was clearly explained and the entire process... went extremely smooth. Like most, I was a little reluctant to buy online, after-all your putting your trust in a company to sell you a great running vehicle. Folks the Vehicle I purchased was much better than I expected, and at a fair price! I was so tired of spending the entire day walking Car lots looking for that perfect vehicle? I should have just gone to Vroom from the start. That's why I gave Vroom 5 Stars! I'm telling my Friends, family members and Colleagues about Vroom! I highly recommend Vroom and I am already looking at a vehicle for my wife!

After searching for a specific vehicle for months, w/the right price, mileage and style, I came across Vroom's website. Not only did they have the vehicle... I was searching for but it was w/in my price range. The salesman, Jonathan, was fantastic! He had such a great personality and sense of humor. He was patient, informative and was very expedient in his replies, whether it be by phone or via email, and always ended our conversation asking, if there were any other questions, he could help answer, which was refreshing. The Finance application online was easy and I had an answer by the next day. The process from beginning to delivery of the vehicle was about 10 days. However, I received a phone call every day from them, during this process, advising me of what was happening - whether it was about my paperwork, the shipping and delivery process of my new car or the date of when they were picking up MY vehicle, that I was trading in. Being informed every day, was very much appreciated, especially when you're dealing w/a non-local company. My few disappointments were (1) not being able to negotiate the selling price of the online vehicle.. (2) the EXTREMELY low offer I received for my trade-in, despite having a higher quote on-hand from CarFax. Apparently, Vroom uses their own "in-house" system and do not factor, nor recognize an official trade-in value, which was significantly less (thousands less) of what they offered me. (3) The registration process is very lengthy, (approx.4-6 weeks), which is much more than a local dealership would take, including if you are just "transferring" your plates from 1 car to another. My suggestion would be, that they should give customers the option of either having Vroom register the car or the customer. Beside the few above-mentioned critiques - my overall experience w/Vroom was great. The gentleman who delivered my car, was super nice and so accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. The actual car looked amazing, clean, shiny and had that wonderful "new" car smell that I love. (considering it was a 2016). I thoroughly appreciated that Vroom offered a 7-day return policy and that it was equipped w/not only its' own original vehicle warranties, but Vroom also offered their own warranty, which included a 1-year Roadside Assistance Plan. That alone, made this "sight-unseen" purchase, comforting. In closing, I would definitely recommend Vroom to family and friends. They have taken the stigma of sleazy car salesman and experience, a very positive and successful experience.
The people that I worked with were very helpful with my purchase and made me very comfortable. Like to thank Summer for all her help. The only thing that... I didnt like was the delivery time. ALL DELIVERY SHOULD BE DURNING DAYLITE HRS NOT AT NIGHT VERY HARD TO INSPECT VEHICLE IN THE DARK AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN WASHED DOWN BEFORE DROPPING OFF. OTHER THEN THAT LOVE MY EXPERIENCE.
I've always searched for cars online, but never bought 100% online until this purchase of my 2015 Range Rover Sport. The buying experience was pretty simple... and straight forward. There was some confusion on shipping and pickup dates but that was partially due to my heavy travel schedule, but Vroom worked diligently to make it all work. I took delivery and after only driving 20miles the Engine Light came on. The car looked in great shape and was everything we wanted so I wanted to give Vroom the chance to resolve this, just like I would any local brick and mortar dealership. It took a few extra phone calls to Vroom than I would have liked but within short order Vroom stepped to the plate and worked with a local Range Rover repair shop and got this minor emissions issue resolved and covered all the costs. Kudos to Jose Gutierrez, Vroom Customer Support Supervisor for his professionalism and diligence to resolve this situation. Overall great experience and would buy from Vroom again. Scott
It took over 3 weeks from the time we put the required $500 to hold the vehicle to get it. The sales person was very nice and helpful. Took all our information... down correctly and passed it on to the finance team who messed everything up from the time they got it. They didn't include my wife on the purchase of the vehicle, messed up the trade-in amount which resulted in me having to redo the financing with my bank costing me an extra .5% on my interest rate. That was a big pain but once the vehicle arrived it came as advertised. There was a noise coming from the front right brake so we took it to a local shop that said it needed new rotors and the AC had a leak. We took it to the local dodge dealership for a second opinion who said there must have been a rock in the brakes or tire shine was sprayed on the rotor causing the noise. Other than the time it takes to actually get the vehicle and the financial issues everything worked out.

It was a simple process, you have to give them your title and 1 set of keys while you wait. The 1st shipper couldn't do it, so Vroom got a 2nd shipper,... but that wasted a day. The pick up went easy, but I did not get the bill of lading which I was suppose to get and return. So this was confusing. Waited the weekend, no word then on Monday got an email stating it was processed and the check would be coming. On Tuesday, FedEx sent the check to the wrong center so it was delayed a day and arrived the next day. Total time was 10 days.
