I have had many distasteful experiences with car dealerships but University Kia was a breath of fresh air! I have worked with Allan Ali twice and each time he has been professional and beyond helpful. Any question I asked he could answer. In addition, the buy felt natural. He was truly interested in what I wanted and what was in my best interest. Allan had a list of cars prepared for us to look at before we arrived at the dealership and that was extremely helpful. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to give Allan a call.

All I can say is AJ, AJ, AJ!!!!!! He is the ULTIMATE in genuine, down-to-earth customer service and I will be forever grateful that my hubby and I had the privilege of doing business with him. We'd already had a horrible car buying experience at the Kia in Southern Pines, so I was pretty skeptical about even visiting another car dealership. But any and all fears just evaporated the moment that AJ came around the corner, greeting us with his Jaimie Foxx smile! It was so bright and kind that I just knew we would be in good hands. I ended up trading my vehicle for the cutest little Kia Soul ever (with an adorable sunroof), got a great deal in the trade-in, and got a pre-owned certified Kia Soul for a great deal as well. AJ made sure that all paperwork was taken care of in a timely manner so that we weren't waiting around any longer than we absolutely had too. When I tell you that I felt that our time was TRULY valued, it really was. At some point, I'm coming back to get that gorgeous EV9 or Telluride and we'll be knocking on AJ's door lol. On another note, and this is HIGHLY unusual, the finance guy, Daniel, was super kind and non-pushy. He gave me all of the financing options I had, the pros and cons of having my own financing vs Kia financing, and a plethora of other dearly needed information. You can tell a lot from a person's handshake and both Daniel and AJ had the same qualities of a firm handshake, direct eye contact, and a genuinely kind smile. I am not exaggerating when I say that my hubby and I will NEVER go anywhere else to purchase a car and AJ will always be our go-to man. I absolutely LOVE University Kia!

From the moment you walk in you can feel the difference. .. Very friendly, professional and they know their product. Allan Ali was our sales representative and he knew how to present the Telluride, so that we became more and more comfortable with the myriad of new features especially the safety features. After the test drive, I knew this car handled well and was very easy to maneuver in several different situations. My husband was impressed with the comfort of the back seats and the smooth ride. We are the proud and happy owners of a new 2024 Telluride.

Vehicle service scam Took my vehicle to University, Kia, in Durham yesterday for an oil change, and was told that I needed to have the brake fluid replaced for a cost of $150 The manual states to inspect all fluid levels but no where does it say to replace the brake fluid when I presented this information to the service department they backed off requesting that I change the brake fluid In addition, they refused to check the brake pads, because I did not order the tire rotation

Bought a new 2024 Telluride here. We love it. Rodney was an awesome sales rep. Extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. It was a perfect experience.

Shady “bait & switch” tactics to get you in the door. They lie and misrepresented what they were claiming to sell me. Lured me in with a low price, claiming it was for a Forte LXS. But it was an LX model. Lied when I asked him to confirm. Then claimed he had a new LXS. But tried to sell us a used one. Claimed it was a mixup when I realized it was used, not new. We walked out. Would NOT recommend this place.
