do not go to this dealership they are worthless!

do not go to this dealership they are worthless! Their vehicles are crap, bought a dodge ram truck from them and within the first 3 days we had to return with vehicle to have new stereo put in, then with in a year we had found metal shavings in our oil, they said it is the engine was told they would have vehicle for 3 wks to 3 months they put in a refurbished engine which was fine until we got vehicle back and it wouldn't run correctly losing power when stepping into gas to gain speed, they returned our vehicle with a broke windshield that happened in the 4 1/2 months they had our vehicle. Then was told they were going to replace windshield then get vehicle back 3 and a half weeks later (today) with broke windshield still. The service guy didn't know what was going on, they couldn't give us an itemized list of what was worked on in the shop or when it was brought into the bay to be worked on. they are a 0 out of 10 in our book. Oh and this is the best part the loaner vehicle we were given had a hole in the drives side floor board and they still want 21000 for it lmao talk about a joke of a dealership they are the worst. they never return calls and are always short. So i still have a broke windshield and an engine that is losing power, oh and they ran all our gas out of the vehicle and left us on E when we dropped it off with 3/4's tank. Unprofessional and rude with crap vehicles they are getting from Canada that they fix just enough to sell

The sales team at Universal CDJR is amazing.

The sales team at Universal CDJR is amazing. They worked with my budget and I ended up getting the truck I wanted. The entire time I felt very welcome just like family. The selection of vehicles to choose from was amazing and they take their time with you. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car. Jon was my sales rep and he was amazing very friendly.

STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY! My mom and I experienced unethical business practices when dealing with the Odessa, MO location (BILL-Sales Manager) the price on cars.com advertised for $16,717 and when I arrived they stated that price was if I had a trade in AND allowed them to scrap the Mazuma pre-approval to allow them to RE-REN the deal in "Cuddle finance system" and get the credit for the deal. NO Integrity at all. Upon heading for the door Bill agreed that they could use the pre-approval and would still allow my mother to purchase the vehicle for the advertised price AFTER I kept saying that didn't sound legal at all. Days later after Bill kept promising he was taking care of us, he called me yelling and saying he had just spoke to Mazuma and that we can't buy a warranty from Mazuma if we want to purchase the vehicle and stated it would cost us another $500 to finance using Mazuma. After his rant I advised Bill that Mazuma was on the telephone and had heard the threatening and coercive discussion and Bill hung up in embarrassment and no one contact us from the dealer. I waled into the Blue Springs dealer today and spoke to Jason (VP) who was very apologetic and stated we would be taken care of. We later received a call from the owner, Scott Duncan. To my suprise Scott Duncan completely dismissed the unethical dealership experience and tried making excuses for the same behaviors that had led to my rights as a consumer being violated. They advertise a vehicle at one price on line to get you in the door and then tell you the car is thousands more, without ever having listed that on the advertisement. I have texts discussions from Bill, Mazuma recording, and mobile records as evidentiary documentation of the events that occurred to myself and my mother. BUYERS BEWARE

Exploration of an elderly war veteran!

This dealership buys auction vehicles from Canada then sells them to the public without performing any type of maintenance or to validate they are safe to be on the road with your children. They sold my 81 year old father , who is a war veteran, a 2016 Dodge Ram truck for $22,000.00 that would not pass Missouri state inspection, placed an inspection decal on the windshield (that had a side to side crack), provided my father the inspection report then issued a Missouri temporary tag. When he took it to a reputable dealership in town he was informed it needed a front differential, an axle was bad and needed repaired and had an oil and transmission leak and that the vehicle was not safe to drive! The general manager, Patrick Deery, graciously met with me on Saturday and after hearing everything, took copies of the inspection report and stated he would “make this right.”The general manager, Patrick Deery called me today stating he would do nothing to repair the vehicle and did not even comprehend the fact that he failed follow laws regarding inspection or licensure, in fact he stated “ I don’t have the laws in front of me.” Mr. Deery even failed to simply apologize for exploiting an elderly veteran. This company does not represent any type of small town values, fails to meet any level of integrity and definitely does not regard the sanctity of human decency or life. You would be better off to go to the junk yard and purchase a vehicle that you know is a lemon!

747 miles for 21 year old truck

Jim Luttrell called me on a truck I was interested in when the sell fell through for previous buyers. Was already in Louisville looking at another. Took the chance to go look at it. Total 747 miles one way from my house. Easy process, glad he wore his mask. Bad thing....COLD weather!
