out 50,000 still no working truck

July 17th we bought a truck from suburban collection. It has been towed over 10x back to the dealer starting day 1. We bought this truck for our business and it is going to be in bankruptcy soon because of this purchase. We thought we could trust the “largest dealership in Mi” we were wrong. Fuel filter had to be replaced day 1 Less than a week after that Upper and lower trans lines needed replacing (was being held together with water heater hoses) yep I have pics to prove it A week from that two out of 4rear tires went flat. All 6 tires showed rot in less than 24hours of use and were replaced. Little armor all kept it hidden from Me at purchase. They did the ujoints on the rear suspension. The dpf system had to be removed from the truck to make it run right. I didn’t know it at the time but this is against federal law...... Battery cell went dead truck needed batteries. Next the Pulleys came off the motor shredded the serpentine belt. Leaving me with no power steering and no power brakes ON THE FREEWAY!!! yes it almost got me killed. And not less than 24 hours after getting it back from the pulley fiasco the tie rods are gone. The truck is inoperable and had to be towed again. Our business was in wonderful shape before this purchase. Now we are several thousand dollars in the red. I don’t even have money to buy materials cuz we haven’t worked half of the last 6weeks. I can’t even make the payment on the truck because instead of working I am sitting in the dealership two days a week. they won’t fix it because I was irate when I went there so they called the police on me.... maybe i did take it to far. What do you expect I lost everything. If I went into every detail here you would be just as disgusted as I am. Lie after lie I just got sick of hearing it.

Michael and Kari, We stood behind you as a customer... You were not charged at all for any after purchase service, despite the way you treated my employees every time you came into the dealership. We would have continued to help you if you would not have verbally threatened me and multiple other employees with your vulgar act forcing us to call the police and have you removed from the property. For the record let me state a couple facts. 1. You purchased a 2008 GMC Sierra with 123,000 miles on it. 2. The vehicles purchase price was $23,999 (Not $50,000). 3. The vehicle was purchased AS-IS (due to the age and miles on the truck). 4. within the first 40 days you owned the vehicle you put 5,000 miles on it. 5. You stated at the time of purchase you did not have a running tuck, and could not operate your business. In summary you came to the dealership purchased a 11 year old vehicle with over a 100,000 miles AS-IS signed all the Buyers Guides and federal forms describing how you were purchasing it. You almost immediately after purchasing the vehicle had some mechanical issues, we fixed all issues with no questions asked at no charge to you. A week or so later you had other concerns that we also addressed for you at no cost. The last time you came in you were verbally abusive, and made threats to employees. We told you that you were no longer welcome here, and had to have the police called. Had you been a respectful decent person we would have bent over backwards for you!

After three cars, this is how we’re treated

The car IS NOT what we paid for. The warrantee is not being honored. When they sell you a car(the third car we purchased from them) you expect that they would want to make it complete. This is not the case. Things don’t work, we have system warning lights and they don’t want to talk to us about it. I gave one star for repairs only because they refuse to fix the issues that they advertised the vehicle was equipped with. On the other hand, the BODY SHOP is awesome! They some work for us.....OUTSTANDING!

FALSE ADVERTISING

You would think that when a dealership lists the cars features on the window sticker, and you pay the window sticker price, you’d think the dealership would feel a sense of obligation to, at the very least see to it, that the car is equipped the amenities listed on that window sticker. You’d also think that important safety features you spoke of, and supposed to be included would be functional. This is NOT the case with Suburban Ford of Ferndale. They LIED to us, plain and simple. This is a nice way to treat a third time customer. Not respect, but rather LIES and DECEPTIONS. However, the body shop did nice work!

Taking Care of Business

I just had the most awesome experience with my salesperson, Mr. Alan Brown, He didn't just want to sell me a vehicle, he really wanted me to be satisfied. From the moment I walked into the dealer, Mr. Brown took good care of me, polite, friendly, patient and very professional, he made sure I got the royal treatment. I was able to see, go over all features of the vehicle, and test drive each one, to make my final decision. Thank you Mr. Brown for your kindness. Pleasurable Professional Experience

While searching for a used Mercedes, I found my car at Suburban. Alan Brown was outstanding! He was very professional, knowledgeable, honest ,courteous and attentive. Alan took his time with me, showing me features on the vehicle and applied no pressure. Alan’s boss Brad was equally attentive. He worked expeditiously to complete necessary paperwork. Less than 30 minutes of making my decision, I was on my way. From the administrative support staff to the finance and General Managers, I felt respected. I’m glad I chose Suburban. I got a fair deal on a great car. I’d consider Suburban for future purchases.

Excellent Customer Service

I went in for service on my 2013 Ford Fusion, as there was a recall. This is the third dealer I contacted in regards to being serviced, and the only one that actually helped. From the initial phone conversation, to being greeted with a smile by Eric when I pulled into the wrong spot lol to the extremely friendly & fast service, they were great! I was first assisted by Andrew, whom was already in the middle of assisting other customers. He was prompt and attentive in assessing my issue, and informed me that Blaize would be helping me. Blaize was friendly and personable, and made the transaction seamless. Chris was quick with fixing the issue, and making sure my car was back to normal. In today’s climate, it’s refreshing to patronize a business that has exceptional customer service, and creates a generous atmosphere. When I’m ready to upgrade, I will definitely be sure to get my next Ford from this location.

Ford Fusion Maintenance

Andrew and his team took care of some minor issues, oil change, ptu oil change, and swapped a steering wheel and illuminated door sills for me. Whenever I voiced concerns or asked questions, I was given quick and concise information. Everything you'd want in a dealership you can trust. Truly gives a new definition to dealership service. 10/10 would never go anywhere else. Tim has sold me two Fusions in the past year and love them both! Seriously best salesman in the business. Out of all the dealerships and people I have dealt with, I can't imagine having to change if/when he retires. Enjoying the ease and trust while I can for sure!
