Not a fan at all. How a car brand doesn't offer a loaner due to engine recall that requires vehicle to be held overnight is insane. No offer to provide even a ride home at all. Working with Arturo and service manager as little help either. This was the second attempt to bring vehicle in for recall after we werent notified that 1st appointment needed to be rescheduled. Lack of care or any compassion by Kia and this service department was a huge let down. Clearly this service department lacks effective management and it shows. This experience has ruined ever wanting to purchase another Kia going forward.

Please know that our staff was not argumentative during your visit. They offered several solutions, including placing you on a reservation list for a loaner vehicle — which is different from having a confirmed appointment. They also extended courtesy options such as Uber and Lyft rides, which are available during every visit. While your vehicle did need to stay overnight, we are pleased to note that the recall work was completed in under 24 hours. We understand this may not have been the most convenient experience for you, but we encourage you to consider the full range of support options that were provided. While we may not have been able to fulfill your immediate request, our team made every effort to assist you and ensure your vehicle was properly repaired. Horrible customer service and service department.
Horrible customer service and service department. We took my K5 for a new tire and they don't want to cover it. They did an oil change and they didn't noticed a tired that seems to have a defect. I'm pretty sure they won't want to cover that one either. My car cannot be driven since that other tire is about to pop. They do crappy maintenance when you have a package since they don't get pay for it. Don't buy at this place.

Southwest Kia of Round Rock did me way wrong.
Southwest Kia of Round Rock did me way wrong. In July of 22 I went to them to Purchase a vehicle. I had been without one and was renting a car for a month since the transmission had gone out on my previous car. I was approved for an amount that was decent and had a decent amount to put down. I met with a sales person who immediately led me to a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. It was for about 14,000 and looked pretty decent. I asked if I could look at something else and he said no, the jeep was all I was approved for, that would keep me in a 400 payment range, I explained my situation having had a bad car accident the prior year that totaled my car, then bought a car that I had just paid off, only for the transmission and engine to go completely bad. I told him I really need a dependable car as I am single with 4 children , 2 who are extremely disabled. He said the jeep was very reliable with low mileage (80,000). I didn’t get to test drive the car at all either as the salesman kept LEAVING ME ALONE to deal with other people there buying cars! I was getting upset and desperate as I turned in the rental and I had to work early the next day. It was already 8pm! He finally came to me with a key and said here you go, and to follow him to sign. I was like xxx, I can’t test drive it? He said I had time for a quick lap around the parking lot. I was like okay?. That told me nothing?? So I signed and asked for a warranty which he said no I didn’t need it, no to gap insurance and I was like this is crazy. Stupid me I should have put more pressure on warranty end of it. I left and the next morning at 7 am noticed the vehicle start weird. So I called my friend and he came to look,as I drove down the street, all this white and grey smoke was pouring out of the exhaust and the car was trying to stall. He drove it with me to Kia. I met with John the manager of the Service department and John said he would do a “bumper to bumper”. When we got back, John stated he found nothing and that the car was perfect, that the smoke was most likely from the jeep “sitting on the lot too long.” From then on every 6 weeks, we would have to top the oil off, about a qt and half or the jeep would stall. Going to our service shop multiple times due to this oil issue they said oil was going somewhere but they couldn’t find the leak. But it was leaking as cars just don’t LOSE OIL! I literally had to Keep oil in my car! Well 21 months later, my check engine light comes on and I get the coils changed and the spark plugs and with wiring harness, and car still is firing wrong. The service shop I go to was thinking it must be wiring somewhere since the car has lower mileage and is newer still. After not finding anything wrong with wiring, they decide to dig deeper and find with their camera that oil was BLOWING BACK INTO THE ENGINE FOR YEARS and screwed up the lifter and all the internal valves and all sorts of crap! They also said if a Bumper to Bumper was done less than two years ago, this would have been found! BUT THE SERVICE CENTER I HAVE USED FOR YEARS , They said no way did this happen in less than two years but that I needed a new engine ! 6,000. I still owe 15,000!3 more years on this car! I called Kia and spoke with Lina, she promised to get in touch with John! She never got back to me. I called multiple times and asked to speak to her. I finally was able to speak to and he said they will not help me. I contacted the BBB and they never even responded to the BBB! They never responded to my emails to even Contact me regarding the issue!! BOTTOM LINE!! Engines do not go bad in less than two years!! They took advantage of me because I was a woman, alone in a bad situation! Having read all the reviews on google, almost all are people buying brand new cars, not used. This is a review of a bad experience I had from the moment I walked in, to the two years I have had the vehicle.

Sat forever trying to get through buying process. Was waiting on my insurance to provide me with a corrected form, said I didn't want to keep them waiting. Suddenly they were ready to start the finalizing. When I mentioned, for the third time, that the listed mileage was incorrect the sales manager attempt left to help get it fixed. That's when I thought about checking KBB. Wouldn't you know it, 77k miles is worth $2000 more than the actual 92k it had on it. I left immediately, that is very shady.

Fidel Martínez is a fine salesman. He's patient, emlathetic—and persistent! My only complaint about Kia of Round Rock is that they declined to transfer the specialty plates from our old car to the new one. The result will be a lot of unnecessary paperwork and a long delay while we wait for the DMV to send new plates to the dealer, which I will then have to take to the DMV (or maybe it's the county tax assessor-collector) to swap them for the specialty plates.
