xxxxty service
I had an APPOINTMENT set up to get my speedometer and odometer fixed because they aren’t reading properly and they didn’t even look at the car. They just put it in the save for later pile. They weren’t even planning on looking at it the SAME DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO BUSY. Why the xxxx would I schedule an appointment just so I can “maybe” get my car fixed? This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with this dealership. I’ve had issues with them SEVERAL TIMES (Fort Collins and Greeley locations). I have so many other issues that I can name as well (so many I’ve lost count on how many times they screwed up). The service department sucks and they clearly don’t care about helping the customers. Ken Garff has lost a customer I’m taking my business elsewhere. 100% do not recommend.

Just picked up my vehicle. Was there for a recall and oil change. Got in and my radio stopped working from the time I dropped it off to pickup. There wasn't even an offer to look at it, just a complete lack of concern. All that was said was we didn't touch the radio. Completely unprofessional service.

I called to get a Ford Recall taken care of, the first time I called the service person hung up on me. So I tried their Chat system and told Jessica about what happened and she told me she would have a manager contact me, it never happened. Then I called about a week later and a woman answered the phone and made an appointment in 2 weeks so that would give them time to order the parts. I take my vehicle in that morning and at 3:00 pm, the service person called and said they didn't have the parts. I talked to the parts dept. about it and they said it was never ordered and on back order. I left disgusted and on my way home, the parts manager called me and said he would order it. About a week later, the service dept. called me and said parts were in and I made an appt. I needed to change the appt. and when I called, a service person said I didn't have an appt. for that day in their system, so I made another appt. I took my vehicle in that day and they replaced the recall item by noon. What a bunch of screw offs.

Avoid this service department! Tried to charge me over 4300 for an unnecessary repair! Background: I was driving on the highway and hit an object in the road in my Escape. I knew there was some sort of damage due how it drove after hitting it. When I was able to look at it the next morning (I'm not ASE certified but I've been working in vehicles since I was a kid) I looked underneath and could clearly see where the object hit the rear suspension and observed the wheel was at an angle it shouldn't be. Being a newer model vehicle I decided it was best to take it to a Ford dealership (my family and friends have dealt with them on and off for years as customers prior to the dealer being bought out by new ownership) I went to Ken Garff Ford service and spoke with a service advisor . I explained what happened and what I observed. He said to have it towed in the following day (monday) and they would get it looked at by the end of the week (I guess they dont do actual service appointments anymore?). At this point I will mention the advisor wasn't friendly at all. I had it towed in on monday, and explained to him once again what had happened, what it was doing and where I saw the damage. 8 days later I finally get a call saying they had looked at it. When I stopped by the following day I spoke with a different service advisor to find out what they had discovered and what the repairs would be and I was informed that the whole power steering system would need replacing at a cost of over $4,300. I asked about the actual damage I observed with the rear suspension and why there was no mention of this, and did not get an answer. I decided to have the Escape towed to another repair shop (Christian brothers automotive in Loveland, I will be leaving a separate review for them). Not only were they able to see the damage, they confirmed there was nothing wrong with the power steering system! The parts and labor for the damage was only $800 and it drives perfect again. In summary I was almost charged over $4,300 for repairs that would not have even fixed the problem. I will never go back to this dealership for anything and post this as a warning for others to be aware.

Terrible service. Took a week to diagnosis why the radio wouldn't work. Kellen the tech wouldn't call me back. Finally got an estimate of $1200 to fix the radio....really? Won't go back to the NEW Ken Garff Ford. I'm going to Harm's Lab.

They do not return calls, had my car for THREE WEEKS and did not look at it. When they finally did, it turned out to be the same thing it had been brought in for two prior times. They said that it would be an additional $800 (although we have already spent over $1000 on the same issue that they said they corrected). They never contacted us about our car- we had to call multiple times to see the status. DO NOT GO HERE! They are very rude, treat customers like they are stupid, and are very dishonest.

Ken Garff Ford in Fort Collins are a top notch customer oriented sales team. They work hard to earn your trust with a goal of repeat service and sales. I have worked with them the past 1 1/2 years after ordering a Bronco from Jacob. It’s always a relief to have confidence in the integrity and honesty of the sales team when purchasing a vehicle at today’s prices. Jacob arranged for me to purchase an abandoned order Bronco order at a fair price, and I have full confidence that I will be treated fairly when I trade my 2021 Bronco in on my 2022 Bronco due to arrive in February. After a mixup/miscommunication during a service visit when service could not be performed on my Bronco on the day it was scheduled, the sales manager provided the nearly $400 service to me free of charge at a later date. They go out of their way to include me in special sales events involving the Bronco, and do a great job at communicating status and information regarding my purchase. On a final note…..Jacob is a great dude and a great salesman. I look forward to many opportunities to work with him with future purchases and vehicle upgrades over the years to come.

This dealership is deceptive in it’s practices. No mention was ever made of a $800 lease buy out fee deemed “reasonable “ by the dealership until the very end when the contract residual value was tendered.

I have had nothing but the best in my experience with Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins. They have helped me with several car and truck purchases over the past decade. Paul Phillips has made each transaction and product support go smoothly. Dealer service has always been prompt and helpful.
