About our dealership

Volkswagen of Fallston began in 1962 as Emery Cook Motors, a single point Volkswagen dealership in Aberdeen MD. The dealership was one of the earliest Volkswagen franchises in the country and remains one of the oldest continuously family owned Volkswagen dealers in the country. The dealership opened in its presents location in 2001. Today we proudly continue serving Harford County as a locally owned second generation business and look forward to serving the needs of the community. We have a strong and committed sales staff with many years of experience satisfying our customers' needs.

I have been going to this service shop for a few months.

I have been going to this service shop for a few months. I purchased an older VW from out-of-state that needed some repairs to pass MSI. Repairs were delayed, but it was understandable during the holidays. When I was able to retrieve my car, I noticed my brakes were off, a new sound/feedback that was not there when I brought it in. Within 20 minutes of picking up the car, I had to call and ask if I should bring it back. When I came back, I suddenly needed multiple repairs that somehow got missed a month ago. I was told the car would be safe to drive until the part arrived, but then it broke down 2 days before the scheduled service. I asked how my car passed the MSI and VW's multipoint inspection, and then broke down soon after. I was not given a clear answer. Repairs quickly escalated from $300 to over $1,000 as they discovered more things that needed to be addressed. This new list of crucial repairs was a clear sign of the team's negligence/missing important details when they looked it over the first time. I was offered a pitiful amount of reimbursement. I doubt I will trust this shop with my car again.

My service advisor was awesome and fantastic.

My service advisor was awesome and fantastic. He updated me on everything and the cashier lady was very polite and helpful. The facility was clean and sparkly. My car was repaired on time and the price was right.

I looked at reviews and bad ones said they received no

I looked at reviews and bad ones said they received no calls back or emails. I left my number and didn't get a call back for hours. Come to find out t7hey had a big meeting that morning. No biggie, I go by there on the way to work everyday. Better to talk in person anyhow. The people were excellent at their jobs. Got the car towed in late that afternoon and they ordered the parts after looking at it the next day. The day after the parts arrived they texted the car was ready that afternoon. . I was impressed ! Other VW places said it would be 10 days out before looking at it. Everyone was friendly, helpful , and courteous. It was a recall and to beat all, they gave the car a free $70 multi point inspection and said everything looked great. I was impressed, most dealers want to find something to get money. since the $800 plus recall was free. I'd recommend them to anyone I know or meet. It was probably one of the most satisfying experiences with anything related to cars in my 68 years. All those working at this dealership should be proud of their customer service !!!

Only had to wait about one hour for maintenance.

Only had to wait about one hour for maintenance. The only thing I didn?t like was while I was waiting I got a text saying there was a 3% add on for using credit card. Luckily it was free maintenance.
