Worst dealership experience i've EVER had.

Worst dealership experience i've EVER had...and that’s certainly saying something. They advertised offering "up to" $6K over KBB for their Presidents’ Day event, yet when it came down to it, they actually offered $4-6K UNDER the listed KBB trade in price. Classic bait-and-switch tactics. I had a 2018 Land Rover with only 70k, kbb trade in price for its condition is averaged at $10,800. They offered 7k.......They played all sorts of numbers games, making the entire process feel dishonest and misleading. The internet price for the vehicle i was interested in was listed at $26,399, with a supposed listed "retail" price of $29,999, yet they kept insisting the number was $32K because "they can make up whatever number they choose"—pure manipulation. To make matters worse, they claimed the Presidents' Day sale and internet price couldn’t be combined, which conveniently works in their favor. But that should mean the vehicle should be either 29k with the "up to 6k over kbb" or 26k with the normal kbb price. Not 32k plus the low ball offer which is 4-6k UNDER the kbb trade in value. The worst part? The little boy (James Robertson) with the turtleneck—absolute miserable attitude, full of arrogance, and completely unwilling to negotiate in good faith. Instead of working with us or escalating the issue to another manager, he continued playing games. His poor attitude was the sole reason I walked away from this deal, and I highly doubt I’m the first to do so because of him. He was too busy worrying about maximizing his profit rather than coming together for a deal. In the end, we were over $7K apart, and rather than making an effort to bridge the gap, this dealership doubled down on its shady tactics. That was until we were already walking out the door when they decided they wanted to send Scott (the used car manager) out to put in an effort. Although that bridge was already burned. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Due to all of the bait and switch tactics and price manipulation; I'll be reaching out to the attorney generals consumer protection bureau for violations against the New Hampshire Consumer Protection Act first thing Monday morning. (After looking at a few of these other reviews, it appears im not the first and seems to be a common practice with this dealership. This may turn into a class action.) Ford corprate really needs to look into this, and I sincerely hope they do after I reach out. This location is losing business due to that lying, arrogant nitwit.

Today we drove an hour and 15 mins to the dealership.

Today we drove an hour and 15 mins to the dealership. Before we drove up there, they confirmed via telephone that the car I was interested in was still available, they also confirmed that it came with a 3 month/ 3000 mile warranty. The warranty was also advertised on their website for this vehicle. When we got there, I again asked the sales person to confirm the warranty and he did. After spending hours test driving the vehicle and coming to an agreement on price we were taken into the finance office to sign paperwork. At this time, I was asked to sign a paper stating that there was no warranty. When I questioned this and showed them the warranty advertisement, they told me that the warranty never should have been advertised on this vehicle. Sadly, they refused to honor the advertised warranty & they also lost what would have been a very loyal customer. Extremely disappointed with the integrity of this dealership.

Stay away bad management a head

If you’re thinking of purchasing a car from this dealer. Check out any other dealer around. If you’re looking for the meaning of incompetence go here. Drive over an hour to see a truck advertised on no less then 3 websites. Only to be told it was sent to auction. This was Saturday after Thanksgiving, so that truck had to have been sent to auction at least 4 days prior. I sent a email at 1:00 on Friday and a young lady confirmed that the truck was still available. I told her I would be there the next day at 9am to get through Boston before traffic started. I drove over a hour and got to the dealership early. So went get a coffee and received a call from “Buzz” to see if I was still coming. Told him I was getting a coffee and would be right there. I was made wait a half hour well a sales person trolled around looking for the key and he would have to wait for the used cars sale manager to get out of his meeting. Just a note sales 101-sale meetings never trump customer. He finally came out of his meet to tell me that they sent the truck to auction. Really!!!! Maybe spend more time communicating with your staff on the location of your inventory. What a terrible showing. But now having some of the many other bad reviews, I’m not so surprised. Run away. Nothing to see here but bad management.

Excellent service, great vehicle purchase

Just before Christmas, I visited Best Ford. I was looking for a used King Cab pickup truck in decent condition. The salesman, Will, was very professional, in addition to being an outstanding gentleman. I was presented with a 2014 Ford F-150 STX. During their inspection, they discovered a chip in the windshield, and installed a new windshield (no extra charge.) I ended up buying it. I immediately took it on a 2000 mile shake down cruise to visit family for Christmas. It was and is absolutely flawless. I found that it had been VERY well cared for by previous owners, it was in excellent condition. So I've had it now for 2 months. It's a truly excellent vehicle. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Best Ford. I especially recommend Will as a salesman! One caution: have your financing established and in order before buying (unless you plan to use dealer financing.) But that is true with any vehicle purchase from a dealer.
