I dropped off my Honda Pilot for a recall in Darcars
I dropped off my Honda Pilot for a recall in Darcars Honda of fairfax, and they assured me they would call once the recall was completed. However, the service advisor, Samar Yousif, never contacted us. We had to follow up ourselves to confirm whether the recall had been completed. When I picked up the vehicle in the evening, it was left dirty, with scuffs on the dashboard. The odometer clip wasn’t even secured. While cleaning the dashboard and odometer, I noticed dust and a small white piece inside, indicating they had tampered with it. I returned to the dealership to explain the situation, but they showed no concern. Samar Yousif then brought over her service manager, Herson Hernandez. He walked back and forth with his hands in his pockets and asked, “What’s going on?” I responded, “You should already know since she brought you here.” He dismissively replied, “Oh, we didn’t do anything, and we’re not going to fix it.” Instead of addressing the issue, he started arguing with me and simply handed me the key. I believe service manager Herson Hernandez and his colleagues need better customer service training, along with skilled and properly trained technicians. Honda headquarters needs to enforce stricter quality control over the dealerships that sell and service their vehicles. If customers are bringing in their vehicles for repairs or recalls, dealerships must be held accountable for any damage or issues that occur during the service. Based on this customer service experience, I would not recommend Darcars Honda in Fairfax, nor would I recommend Honda vehicles, as they fail to stand behind their repairs or take responsibility for any damage caused to customers' vehicles. I can proudly say that this will be my last Honda vehicle and my last purchase from this dealership.

Thank you Sam and Crosby for working with me on this
Thank you Sam and Crosby for working with me on this journey. Car buying experience should be fun and exciting knowing you are picking either someone you want or can afford for your convenience. My experience with Darcars of Honda in Fairfax, VA has been nothing but frustrating, disgusting and traumatizing. Since purchasing this vehicle, i haven't made my first payment yet but already looking to trade it in because of how it reminds me daily of my experience with them. On 7/27/2024 i purchased a Subaru Forester from Darcars of Honda Fairfax for $22,091.60 and a loan for this amount was approved by Navy Federal. During the loan process my trade-in was not factored in causing me to have two loans on my credit (the loan for my subaru and loan for my previous vehicle) therefore the title for the old vehicle was not going to be released to honda till the $13k plus loan is paid off. Due to my income to debt ratio i was not able to obtain a loan to pay the 13k off. Honda harassed me with daily calls for their title till it was decided for me to turn the Subaru in 8/28/2024. They gave me a 2024 Honda CRV and factored in my trade in with the negative equity and American Honda bank approved a loan to cover this. The check for Navy Federal was supposed to be returned for $22,091.60 but was not. I went to the dealership on a weekly basis, since the finance officer Isaac Morris will not respond to emails or phone messages. Had to clock off work, just to drive there to check on the status of the check. On all these trips i was told, oh the bank will take care of it. I reminded them the payment due date and that if there were any interest, they will have to take care of it. On September 11th i went back to the dealership demanding something in writing that the check has been requested or sent, and this attached document was printed out saying the check was requested for on September 3rd. I did express to them the loan payment is due 9/21/24 and if there is any interest incur, they will have to pay for it. On 9/19, I saw a check was posted to the loan account for the original amount but without the interest of $677+. As usual, I emailed big boss and guess what? No response. So again, I go into the dealership for him to tell me, oh I saw your message but haven't gotten time to respond. But we will contact the finance office to get this cleared. So then I explained again, the longer you wait, any interest incurred will have to be taken care off. So.....waiting!

Hi Serwah, I know our team is touch with you and is working to assist as quickly as possible. Thank you for reaching out!
On August 19, 2024, I bought a new 2025 Honda Civic Sport
On August 19, 2024, I bought a new 2025 Honda Civic Sport from Darcars Honda of Fairfax. My experience buying the car was absolutely extraordinary! No xx. If I hadn't experienced it, I'm not sure I would believe my review. I think it would pay you to read this whole review. Read to the end and you'll see what I mean. First, the salesperson I dealt with, Safi, was, without a doubt, the best salesperson I have ever worked with! He wasn't in the top 5; he was the very best, number 1. Safi was knowledgeable, friendly, and really helpful. I wanted a new 2025 Honda Civic LX. I would have preferred a Civic Sport, but I didn't want to pay an additional $1,000.00 for it. Because the 2025s were just coming off the line, few dealerships in the Northern Virginia area had them on the lot. I actually called nine dealers to find out what cars they had on the lot (only three had the car I wanted) and what the lowest prices were. I called Darcars Honda of Fairfax and spoke with Safi in new car sales. He said he had the car I wanted, and the price he quoted me was actually less than any other dealer, including those who said they didn't have the car, but could get it within 5 weeks. Anyway, I went to the dealership and met Safi. He was nice and friendly. I told him I'd actually like a 2025 Honda Civic Sport, but didn't think it was worth the additional cost. Then Safi did something extraordinary: he said another person was also interested in the Civic LX that I was about to buy, but, if I really wanted a Civic Sport, he had one he could sell me that day. RIGHT! AT A HIGHER PRICE? Here's the surprise: Safi said the price would be the same as the LX. Sure! I didn't believe him. I asked to look at the manufacturer's window information sheet that had the price--of the 2025 Civic LX! I noted the price. I then asked Safi to show me the 2025 Civic Sport. He had someone drive the car to the showroom door. This is the unbelievable part: sure enough, the price was more than a thousand dollars above that of the Civic LX! I checked the odometer, 8 miles. I checked the year. Sure enough, 2025. What's the deal? Safi will sell me a more expensive car at the price of a less expensive car? Well, the answer is yes! I wrote a check for the car, filled out the paperwork, got the keys and drove off. Here's the summary: I got a better car than I had hoped for at the best price I could imagine. Here's the moral of the summary: Safi was helping me, not the dealership. He wanted to make sure I got what I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. Don't get me wrong, Fairfax Honda made money, maybe a couple of hundred dollars less than they might have, but what they got was a satisfied customer who will now buy all my cars from Safi at Fairfax Honda. In addition to Safi, everyone at Fairfax Honda was great to deal with, from the vice-president, who had to approve the deal, to the guy who washed and cleaned my new car. I just reread my review. I know: tough to believe, but absolutely true. .

Wow, this is one the best reviews we've read all year! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! Wishing you many safe and happy miles in your new car, and looking forward to serving you for years to come!
Just bought a 2024 Honda CR V from Fairfax Honda.
Just bought a 2024 Honda CR V from Fairfax Honda. The sales representatives were Sayed and Safi. These two gentlemen respectfully answered all of my questions and made sure that when I walked out the door I would be satisfied with my purchase and experience. They both spent time with me reviewing options and answering my questions. When we settled on terms, Nevid came over to make sure all was what I wanted. Sam in finance reviewed the numbers and walked me through the stack of papers to be signed. Sayed escorted me to my new car and went over all of the settings and linked my phone, A big shout out to these gentlemen and the whole process was outstanding. Do your research on what car and features you want then come to this dealership. If you encounter a problem, let them know and they will do their best to resolve it. Highly recommend these gentlemen and dealership.

My nephew moved to DC at the start of the new school
My nephew moved to DC at the start of the new school year. New Year’s Eve gave him the classic DC experience of looking out his window and crying out “Dude, where is my car?” After the settlement came in late January, my husband and I collected him and his SO from the Metro and did the greater Prince William/Fairfax car day. This was not welcome news to us as we just bought not one, but two brand new cars in the two prior months. We bought those Hondas from Joyce Koons in Manassas. Cannot say enough good things about those transactions, even though the first car was totalled in a flood two weeks after we bought it in Charleston. But the sales people were knowledgable and finance was a breeze. Sadly, my nephew was not in the market for a new vehicle as a starving grad student. He was working with the insurance money, an amount that screamed used Honda Fit to us. At our lunch break and a couple of unsuccessful stops, we found that Darcars had one on the lot. We headed over and walked in cold. The man who became our salesman was nowhere the quality we encountered at Joyce Koons. He was just less knowledgable and didn’t inspire confidence. We had decided on one car, but suddenly there was a second on the lot with fewer miles. We negotiated the first car down a couple of grand from the advertised price and got them to match that first price on the second car, which was priced higher. This only happened because of the dedicated work of my husband, who thought he was in actual xxxx and just wanted the kid to get a car and come home. It wasn’t transaction that had me feeling great for all the usual reasons - car dealerships never respect your time, they try to slip the old price in after you have negotiated. Then the shade came… It was going to be a couple of days before they could actually pick the car up (they said they needed to finish detailing), so we waited in our car for a bit to decompress. While we had switched the second car, a young serviceman came in interested in first. We wound up speaking to him and found out that he essentially paid sticker price, several grand more than what we had gotten them down to. I guess my nephew had the benefit of my husband negotiation, but why does a dealership stick the screws to younger people? It’s just such a bad look. My nephew had trouble getting the cleared title for the vehicle. When the temporary tags expired at 30 days, they still didn’t have a title. Only when he got a ticket did they come up with dealer plates for him. Their explanation is that it had something to do with them buying the dealership from Rosenthal late last year. I am sorry, but you can either transact business or you can’t. If you can’t get a title in two months for internal issues related to a business acquisition, you need to get things together to not inconvenience their customers. It seems pretty basic, but what do I know. Yesterday, at nearly two months, my nephew got a call saying the title was ready and he could come pick it up. That was all that was said to him and I truly believe that. With a lit review due at midnight today, I gladly ran the errand for him. I went to pick up the title for him, not thinking about the dealer plates. Only when I arrived to the dealership, did the plates come up. I honestly believe that Wendell didn’t think to mention it to my kid. He should have been more specific in his directions. And after all this, as I am leaving empty handed, Wendell asks me for a review. For a car purchase that in full essentially took two months and left my nephew with a $100 ticket. If you value your time and want to work with competent sales people capable of conducting a car purchase in a timely manner, do not purchase your vehicle from Darcars Honda. Really, if you need a Honda, go to Ahmed at Joyce Koons in Manassas, maybe even Rosenthal Landmark Honda, but do not buy your vehicle at Darcars Honda Fairfax.

Purchased a car this month; it was an out of state
Purchased a car this month; it was an out of state transaction. Sales person was Emmy. Since he was not sure about how this would work, he got the general manager Massi involved. Between them both the issues were solved, and in fact Massi personally drove the car about 2 hours to meet up with me to complete the transaction. That is what customer service is all about. Highly recommended.
