Customer service was outstanding.
This was my first visit to Woodfield Lexus. I took my vehicle in for repair and was promptly contacted by a customer service liaison who walked me through the repairs that were recommended and what the cost would be. Our phone conversation was followed up with an email confirming the information. The repairs were completed promptly; however, when I went to pick up the car the reassembly of the interior was inadvertantly not complete. I was given a loaner vehicle and when I came back the next day my car was complete and not only washed but the interior detailed. Although there was a small glitch, I was very satisfied with my experience. My service liason Tonya made sure that the dealership more than made up for any inconvenience to me and the interior detailing and complimentary keychain were greatly appreciated. I like having the individualized service of a single point of contact to keep me informed as to status and felt like my happiness and convenience really mattered. I will definitely use Woodfield Lexus again for any automotive needs.

I probably will never go back to another Make car. My Lexus E350 has been my best car..hands down. What makes this even a better car is the Lexus Dealership. Eric ..Vince..go above and beyond what I ever anticipated at the Schaumburg dealership...my warranty is more than I expected...and I will always own a Lexus!

Service
It was pleasant visit/service at Lexus for my routine car service and they even noticed a crack on one of my tire and replaced it so I went ahead to home until I noticed that the tire they replaced was mismatched with the other tires , it was same size though,I called Lexus service and made aware of the tire and then I came back the next day to have it replaced with the matching tire,when I get to the Lexus service I waited less than an hour when one associate told me that there was no more matching tire for my 2019 Lexus ES since that tire was already discontinued by the Michelin manufacturing , the sale associate was trying to convince me to keep the replaced unmatched tire but I was not convinced since this car is only 6 months old and will appear odd having this kind of tire,I waited long hours before they replaced it with the matched tire and really ate my time for that day . I was not pleased on that day , I wish my next service will be more pleasant and hussle free.

We apologize that your visit did not go as expected. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued the exact tires and replaced it with a tire less a small rim lip. When you were not satisfied, we had to take a tire off a vehicle we had in stock to put on your vehicle. First, we had to locate another of the discontinued tire, assure the purchase, before taking it off. The new discontinued tire will take several days to arrive and we have to hold the vehicle. We did what we could to rectify the issue.We apologize for the length of time it took but we went our of our way to assure your satisfaction. We hope you understand.

Avoid this dealership
Service department has absolutely gone down hill. Ive always considered Woodfield Lexus having a brilliant Service Department but today was very upsetting. Brought my NX in to service to have them look at my noisy sunroof when tilted up and a couple other rattles in the cabin. After 3 hours of waiting and exhausted my whole morning, Tony (advisor) took me to the garage to have Jose (technician) show me the sunroof. Jose said he cleaned and lubed the rails and wiped down the seal. Stated everything appears to be operating normally. I asked if the noise is fixed and they couldn’t answer me. Coming from an engineering background, I explained to Jose his repair would not fix the issue. He then told me he has been here for a long time and knows what he is doing. He didn’t want to hear my side. Tony advised that Jose will test drive the car afterwards to see if the noise has gone (don’t believe he did). After additional wait time, Tony advised me the car is ready. They said come back if the noise returns. I reluctantly accepted. Left the dealer lot and returned immediately. Advised Tony that the noise is still there and has not improved at all. He then tells me there is nothing they can do and everything is working properly. At that moment, I though to myself.. why would he bother telling me to come back if his answer would be “that’s the way it is.” Right.. because they don’t care. I told him I was here to have them fix the noise and telling me it’s working properly doesn’t fix the problem. The noise shouldn’t be there regardless. I asked if noises are normal and he couldn’t answer me. What I learned today is, its really a hit or miss with Woodfield Lexus. Their advisers go off what the technicians say even if they are blatantly wrong. There technicians are a poor example of experienced mechanics. If you want to be taken seriously and want premium service for you premium product, go elsewhere. There are plenty of Lexus dealers in your area. Never again will I let Woodfield Lexus waste more of my precious time. I suggest you do the same.

We do apologize for the failed attempt on fixing the rattle from your sunroof yesterday. It was your first visit here with your 2015 NX and we would have loved to further address the issue. You were recently at McGrath Lexus, were they not able to find the problem? The service manager was coordinating a road test for you with our diagnostic specialist to get his expertise involved when you stated you had no more time to deal with our idiot technicians and walked away. I can reassure you that our technicians have extensive Lexus training and have reached the highest levels of Lexus Certification and are far from idiots. We wish you the best in getting your rattle concern resolved.

The sunroof rattle is a new issue and was not advised to the attention with McGrath. With L Certified warranty, I’m able to bring my car to any dealership to any concerns I may have. Yes, this is the first time I have brought my NX to your location, but I have been a long time Lexus owner and have serviced many of my cars with you. You can’t assume your customers have all the time in the world to check rattles in their automobiles. To me, 3+ hours is more than enough time to diagnose rattles and should not invest additional time for you to find your diagnostic specialist. All technicians should be well capable of investing time to resolve issues and not just brush it off saying it’s “normal.” I can say I was pretty upset with the outcome of my visit. If the technician is not an idiot then they are dishonest. Years of experience does is not an excuse to say an issue is normal and the customer will need to accept the failed outcome.

I just bought my second car from Mark Demma and again a very satisfying experience. Mark, as well as the other Woodfield Lexus employees I encountered were very professional, informative and not pushy. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and Woodfield Lexus.
