Unsafe service

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Go to any other dealership. About a month prior, I bought a set of 4 new tires, discovered that the tire was defective or not properly installed, and created an unsafe tire. The dealership charged me full price for this tire that had less than 2000 miles and gave me no explanation other than it was my fault and I would need to contact the manufacturer I got in my car, and the tire light was on. I went back inside, and the service technician told me that it was normal after getting a tire changed. The car didn’t feel right, and I stopped to check the tire pressure, and sure thing, two other tires were low. This “service dealership” could not bother to check my tires when the light was on, claiming everything was fine. This is an incredibly dangerous safety hazard, selling defective parts and not properly checking the vehicles for service. I will never shop here again and tell everyone I know to avoid South Hills Honda at all costs. Plenty of other dealerships in the area, especially ones that will treat their customers with respect and provide quality service.

Dear Rob, I haven't been able to respond to your review until now... and we are very sorry for your frustration regarding your tire problem... as well as our oversight for not checking and adjusting your tire pressures during your visit. Definitely not our usual process... sorry again. Also, it may simply be the timing of your review, but I'm very disappointed to read that you would advise people to avoid SHH after we provided you with a $150 store credit for your aggravation and time. This was offered as a goodwill gesture as our technician found that the bubble on the inside of the tire appears to have been caused by impact (pothole perhaps) as opposed to a manufacturing defect. It was not anything we did or did not do correctly. Again, our apologies for everything that occurred and we hope you may still consider us again in the future. Sincerely, Greg Norton, Owner

Exceptional service and overall positive experienc

I purchased a 2014 Honda Civic! Joann was not only knowledgeable and honest but also friendly and enjoyable to work with. The whole process was smooth and easy!

Sold a car with bad tires

Bought a 2016 Ford Explorer sport from this company did a walk around from the tread that you can see on the tires from the outside all 4 tires look decent I did not have the car on a lift, I could not crawl under it. what I didn't see was on the inside of the front tires were down to the wires a back rear tire starting to show the wire in one other tire on its way they refused to compensate me any money when I discovered this after driving over 300 miles back home to Buffalo New York because i posted a bad Google review. they didn't even offer me half the money it cost me replace all 4 tires and basically the owner called me a liar see my Google review from this dealership my name is Joe Denny I'm telling the truth it's really sad that this day and age the company I trusted is calling me a liar when I wanted to spend my money on their product. Buyer beware.

Dear Mr. D., Let me begin by saying how sorry I am for your tire situation and expense. Like you, I would certainly not anticipate having to deal with something like this after owning for less than 2,000 miles. However, as you most certainly know because of how thoroughly you inspected the vehicle prior to delivery, all four tires were in good shape... with two at over half the tread life remaining and the other two at almost three quarters remaining. We would never attempt to deliver a vehicle in this unsafe and illegal condition... never. We also have the photos that clearly illustrate their condition at the time of delivery. In my professional opinion this excess wear condition was likely caused by an improper vehicle alignment. It is hard to imagine that all four would be worn so excessively, but I suppose it is possible, albeit rare. That notwithstanding, unfortunately no one knows whether this condition existed at the time of delivery or occurred while in your possession. I know you want it to be entirely our fault, but that is simply not realistic... no offense. So, as a result of not knowing who exactly is responsible we offered to cover half of your expense because we really do want to do the right thing. Here's where I now struggle with things.... We have offered to reimburse you half (almost $400) as a goodwill gesture and in response you threaten us with various actions if we do not agree to 100% of the expense. Plus you write this scathing review on multiple sites even after we agreed to the partial amount. How is that right? How would it make you feel? What would you say or do if our roles were reversed? I must say that since you have already disparaged my business it is hard to still move forward with our original commitment. Again, I am very sorry that all of this has occurred, but life is just not that black and white. Sincerely, Greg Norton Owner

Grest Dealership, all staff very professional!

great salesperson James Gracey he helped to make the buying process very easy. He is extremely knowledgeable of the entire Honda fleet. The business manager also very friendly and very helpful. The owner came over to meet myself and my wife which added a personal touch. Thank you!!!

very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful sales person, gia leven. never having owned a honda, i went there out of curiosity to find out more about their suv models. gia ably explained all the features and their operation. came back for a test drive and sealed the deal. very pleased with the cr-v, staff and overall treatment. top notch all around.

we were first time customers and were treated like family. the dealership is really nice and our salesman, kevin klebanski, was awesome. we leased a 2019 honda crv and have gotten many compliments on the car. will recommend south hills honda and will be back. thanks for a great experience
