  • Impressive sales and service team..great experienc

    Bought my thrid bmw ...first from fairfield bmw in montoursville. ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS IS WHAT A CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE SHOULD BE. The advisor Marcus... klees goes beoynd any sales person i ahve met and the manager Courtney McFarland will make sure you are satisfied as a client through the whole buying experience. I always thought beat delas on east coast were in ny or nj as they carry larger inventory but i was wrong.they were able to not just procure the car from Connecticut but also deliver it to me without even.leaving my house to go to dealership . Plus they match and compete on pruce......IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A BMW AND WANT TO EXPERIENCE SERVICE BAR NONE, I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS ENOUGH...THX AGAIN MARCUS AND COURTNEY FOR MAKING. CAR BUYING A PLEASANT AND WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

  • Horrendous Service Department

    I had an older MK4 Jetta that which I thought had transmission problems. I took it to Fairfield VW since they are the only dealer in this nearby area.... I dropped the car and asked them to check the transmission, when I called back later they said the transmission had some internal problems and needed replaced. I decided to have it done. They replaced it with a used transmission with 70,000 miles on it. When I picked it up and paid the $3k bill, the car had the exact same problems. They said I could bring it back and they would check it for free. They ended up putting a stop slip in the transmission and charged me $30 for it. It did not make a difference. I gave it a week and brought it back in.. same deal no charge. The mechanic drove with me so I could show him. The end result he said, it did not have enough power from the engine and I should start with a tune up. I got it tuned up and it had a little more power, but it still had the tranny issue. AGAIN, I took it back in and the mechanic drove with me. This time he told me there was nothing he could do, he said he can't change when the car wants to shift and acted like it was petty. Meanwhile, the car hangs and does not shift without jerking hard intermittently. I decided enough was enough this car is a gonner and Fairfield should know this. I though, since I had paid such a large amount and had no success maybe they would allow me to trade the car in for at least 3k, the car was easily worth 1k. NO, they offered 2,200 for my car on a trade in 2 weeks or so after I paid three grand. They did not accommodate me what so ever. They made me feel like I was crazy and stupid when I said it was not fixed correctly and shrugged it off. I would have never have paid this or any amount if I would have known it would not have been fixed. Anyway, my car needed inspected after this and needed 500 dollars worth of repair, I decided to sell it for $1200 a huge loss, when I just spent $3,000 on it. I wanted another VW badly, but when mechanics don't normally like to work on German cars and the only dealership is Fairfield I could not justify buying one. So I went with Toyota instead. I went to the Fairfield Toyota dealership to look at cars there. Bad choice. I went in an hour before they were going to close on a Saturday and asked to test drive a vehicle as they were out of stock of the cars shown on cars.com (surprise, surprise) that I was interested in. The salesman said he was busy and had another salesman come out to drive with me. The whole time this older gentleman complained about me taking the car for a drive, because he works 60 hours a week and he wanted to go home. He was very rude to me and would not let me get on the highway as he did not have any time. Fairfield Group collectively has successfully taken my money and made me feel like a jerk. I am a single parent with little money to spend and they could have cared less about taking it. I even left them a message saying I was going to leave my honest review of disappointment if they could not accommodate me somehow. Guess what happened. Nothing ;)
