    One word can only describe my entire experience at Gateway Chevrolet...'WOW!' From the greeting I received at the front door upon my arrival, to the moment a picture was taken of me with my new car, shanking hands with salesman 'Alfonso' just before departing, was a fun and wonderful experience! The owner, Joe, GM 'Howard' and Alfonso treated me like I was a VIP buyer, making sure I was pleased with everything from the over-all deal to the cup of coffee they brought me. These guys are experts in knowing, and more importantly, 'providing' excellent customer service second to none! I have already told my friends and family about this dealership and it's caring staff.

    We recently had the pleasure of meeting Brandon Nezo. It's easy to spot Brandon at the dealership, he's extremely tall with a giant smile! Brandon was upfront and honest and extremely knowledgeable about the cars we were interested in. He knew a lot about other car manufacturers we were considering too - giving us his input and comparisons was very helpful. We haven't made our final selection yet but we are definitely going to continue our car shopping with Brandon and we highly recommend him to potential car shoppers who want to work with a fair, honest car sales person. Brandon made the "dreaded" car shopping experience an absolute pleasure!

    Came in with my father to look at the Spark and had an excellent experience. Jose Rincon took care of us from start to finish- didn't feel like we were just another sale for him. He took the time to listen to us and answer all our questions. Excellent customer service. I will be coming back when I am looking to buy again and will be recommending Gateway to all my friends who are looking to buy.

    I put in a finance app before going into the dealership. I had to call them twice to check and see if they could finance me. Finally heard back from a gentleman named La Rue and was told that there wasn't anything they could do for me. The end of that week I received a follow up email from the general sales manager Howard Thaler. I told him my situation and he said that he would personally work on my loan. I told him that I had my heart set on a new Malibu and that I needed a vehicle desperately. Howard made it happen! He did everything that he could to make it work and I still can't believe he got me into a 2017 Malibu! I can't thank Howard enough. Thank you so so much!! When we went in to sign papers, we had a gentleman by the name of Tony help us. He was a very kind and upfront salesman. The guy that I had spoke to first (La Rue) that said they couldn't do anything for me, he was there and he told us that he didn't know how Howard did it. Maybe it was a challenge for Howard? Towards the end, La Rue took over and showed us the ins and outs of the car. He was very helpful and has reached out to me following up with my experience and how I like my new car. Thank you Gateway Chevrolet for making this new car buying experience unforgettable! I am truly grateful!

    I put in a finance app before going into the dealership. I had to call them twice to check and see if they could finance me.     Gateway did not honored the Cars.com price when they had over 10 cars at the same price. They blame Cars.com for the price mistake. They also lower my trade in by half the price they had estimated. It was a waste of my time.

    Though purchasing a new vehicle should be a positive experience, earlier visits to other dealerships in Phoenix area made me weary about my first time to Gateway. I decided to go there (though inconvenient for me) because email contacts with Howard Thaler seemed more truthful than others I had dealt with. I was immediately pleasantly surprised by warm welcome from the General Sales Manager, Mr. Thaler, and the courteous and professional service given by my Sales Consultant, Alex Aguirre. He patiently assisted in every way: finding right vehicle for me, test driving it, explaining all the features, and many steps we had to take to make sale possible that day. His mellow, calm attitude though the whole process was remarkable. Great job. Thank you.

    Ever since the dealership was handing down to the son of the owner the service department has gone down the hill. When I had a full detail performed on my Colorado it looked like it was a rush job, interior was not completed and the engine never was cleaned. Service Rep said it will be completed on the next oil change. I must say the body shop did a good job repainting my bumper.

    Ever since the dealership was handing down to the son of the owner the service department has gone down the hill.     They recommended some services we needed and ended up taking 3 hours longer than their estimated time. No apology and when i said this is not good costume service their manager was yelling and arguing with me even though the extra time was due to error on their part.
