    This is the sixth Toyota Camry we have purchased and the second time we have bought two cars at the same time. We were pleased with the price and had a great time with our sales person (Tom Dodd) and his manager (Jeff Ickes). The overall experience was great. The other sales people were also very friendly and no one was pushy. I highly recommend Toyota Town in Newark. Great bunch of people. This was the best experience of all we have had there and, again, we have been there four other times and bought six cars over the period of 27 years.

    I thought I was in for a big bill when my prius was checked out for not starting. I was told $120 per hour for running tests. The time went by and the bill grew and finally it was found to be a expensive part ofd the hybrid system which was bad. The total was $2549 and I was looking to trade ASAP. That evening Jacob called with the news that the Tech. looked the part up and Toyota was covering the whole bill even the 3 hrs. of testing. I was in shock because Jacobs I told Brian to go ahead a fix the problem. They could have ripped me good but honesty prevailed and that is why I'll be back, they handled it well.

    This was my 30,000 service and also a nail in my tire. Cheryl took me immediately for my 5 pm appointment and she was most professional. It was obvious that they were all very busy on a Monday but despite this they were more than friendly and looking out for me. I have always had a positive experience at Newark Toyota and will continue to use them for my service.

    I was satisfied with the drop off and the vehicle. I was told I that I could leave the car and would be notified between 3 and 4 when the repairs were completed. I didn't receive any communication so I called after 5 and was told it was finished. I asked why I received no notification, no text, no email and no phone call. Was told that Newark Toyotaworld was having problems with communication and they were sorry I wasn't notified. With construction on Route 1 and 13 it required a second tripto come back up from Middletown a second day. An inconvenience. Newark Toyotaworld also completed a scheduled maintenance two weeks earlier, essentially an oil change that took over 2 hours. We have dealt with Runnemede Toyota and Holman Toyota in New Jersey for over 20 years. Service took much less time and communication was always much better. Newark Toyota world needs to step up it's game or we will look for another Toyota dealer.

    I have trusted Newark Toyota World from before I purchased this vehicle to complete the Used Car Inspection. Their insight on what need to be done and what I was going to need to do in the future gave me the confidence to purchase this vehicle. There are a handful of techs and service advisors that I have trusted implicitly to what needs to be done to keep this vehicle on the road and running strong. I want to thank the advisors Henry Oswald, Wes Harrison, Michelle Smith, and Jason Curly. I would like to thank the techs Darren Youngerman, Mike Restucci, and especially Ricardo Gomez....Ricardo you have a big job ahead of you 400K is the challenge and I know you are up to it!

    At the end of the day, all worked out well... But, I was concerned after being told this was just a routine service visit when making the appointment, and then finding out there was major service due and it was going to take 4-5 hours. I was provided with a "loaner" car though, and I was able to keep my other obligations that day. All else went very well!
