I have two Volvo cars. For both I have very bad...

I have two Volvo cars. For both I have very bad experience with service this Volvo dealer provided recently. For XC90, this dealership service charged me $446 (include $315 labor cost + $131 for battery) to replace the Auxiliary battery (also called support battery). If you see the online video, it only takes less than 4 minutes to replace this battery, check the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6e5rvHrX_Y. I don't understand why it can be charged $315 labor to replace it which can be easily done in less than 4 minutes. For the other Volvo S60, it had "check engine light" on in Nov. We brought the car in this dealer and it took them several days to "fix" it, For this fix, the replaced parts were "O-ring" $4.23, Bellows $66.13 and labor was $420! the job was to replace leaking oil cap seal and replace leaking fresh air pipe. When I picked the car, driving on the way back home (5 minutes away from the dealer), the check engine light was ON AGAIN! Can you imagine this? When we brought the car back the next day, after they checked the issue, they told us, it would be $450 parts and $3150 labors (total $3600) to fix it. When we picked the car, we did not want this $3600 fix, they asked us to pay $420 for the inspection, but they did not do any fix and it was back to this dealership for recheck because the previous "fix" not even a fix after we paid $490.36 the day before.

I rated for one star that’s because there is no negative...

I rated for one star that’s because there is no negative star. I was referred to this Volvo dealer by Costco auto buy program which was disaster. The sales man tried to convince me that he was giving a big discount by showing the car price which was $3,840 higher than the sticker price!!! Simply DON’T GO TO THIS VOLVO DEALER for any business.

Poor Service

Took my car in for a software upgrade on the Door Keys on Friday Morning and was told the work would take 2 to 3 Hours. After 4 hours, I was told they could not get the work done until next Monday or Tuesday as they did not have enough Techs available. I asked why they scheduled my appointment if they could not do the work. The Adviser was very rude and said it was beyond his control but would get it done next week. They are very irresponsible and don’t seem to really care about their customers. I will take the car to another dealer. This will be the last Volvo I ever own.

This dealership continues to email me fraudulent ads by...

This dealership continues to email me fraudulent ads by stating $0 down, $0 first months payment, $0 security deposit and $0 due at signing. When I went to inquire about a lease deal for this, I was told there are no cars under this deal... The sales rep even told me this was simply done to get people to come into the dealer. I will not put that rep's name here, because I believe this is fraud by the dealer, not the sales person... Will never do business with them...

Rude and unprofessional service team, I stopped by asking...

Rude and unprofessional service team, I stopped by asking about reprogramming my Key and do Polestar optimization. I got quota for a cheaper price from another dealership service department. When i told him about the price he didn't believe me and said it's impossible. when I assured him that i'm not lying he said "I will call the dealership, because that's impossible" and yes he did call them in front me (Rude) he was shocked when he found out i'm not lying. After all of that he said "Sorry I can't do that for you". Why would he said It's impossible then call them to check and once he finds out he says that? at least be respectful and say you can't do it then go check later, don't call me a liar and be a rude person.

There is a good reason why this dealership is rated the...

There is a good reason why this dealership is rated the lowest of all the Volvo locations. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VEHICLE KNOWLEDGE ! The dealership General Manager does not answer customer complaints that are affecting his operation, and is basically invisible. Brad, the service manager, says he is sorry for the problems caused, but it's only lip service so far. That dept. has had several opportunities to prove they are competent, but has failed each time. There are other examples, such as NO knowledge about how their system works on the new android system in the Recharge. All they have is button pushers that try to figure it out, wasting time. Why haven't they been trained ? I hope everyone gets the picture by now.

I have purchased at least ten cars in the past 20 years, and this was the best car buying experience by far. The entire team I worked with from the sales associate, sales manager, to financing were straightforward and honest. No nonsense, pressure tactics, or ridiculous haggling. I could not have been more impressed or more pleased.

Long Wait for 10k maintenance

Had a simple 10k mileage maintenance which is pretty much topping off fluids, an oil change, and an inspection. I also asked for a car wash as well. I chose to wait in their waiting area. That all took 3 hours to complete even with an appointment which I find that too long. It was extremely disappointing due to the filling reason: 1)No one approached us while we were waiting , offering any coffee, snacks, nor water. 2) After 2 hours has gone by with no status update, I asked a cashier about the status of my car. The cashier had to go over to the service department to ask since my “service manager” that checked me in went home. This was a news to me. I wonder if I didn’t approach the cashiers window, would anyone tell me if my car was ready or not? 3) When I got to the Service Department. No one was there to receive the customer. Myself and other person awkwardly sitting while service managers had a meeting in their glass office. We were least sitting there 10 mins before another service manger help the other person out. At no time did those managers came out to tell us that they’ll help us out until their meeting was over which was another 10more mins. I never had this issues at other dealership. The service department/manager checks to you in right of way and offer refreshments and snacks. The things liked: 1) nice and comfortable waiting area.

My first Volvo purchase experience

The service we received was impeccable. From the initial phone call with the sales representative, to providing us with a good deal, to friendly staff throughout the process, and finally with the best car purchase experience we had ever had. I can't forget the finance department and their exemplary behavior of everyone involved. We will be bragging about your service and will recommend your dealership to everyone around us.

Really poor customer service

They use the pandemic as an excuse for poor service and the delay to service a car is markedly long. It took 3-4 days to get my car back after doing a simple service - 20k mile maintenance and changing a tire!! By the way, my car only had 11k miles. Dealerships are hurting for cash, so they are changing their maintaince schedule to time and no longer miles...because a lot of people are driving much less. Shady!
