    At the time I purchased my Tacoma I was living 6,000 miles away. I relied on the online pictures and the local salesman (Austin) to help make my decision to buy at Toyota of Elizabeth City. I was looking at 14 Tacoma's online and Toyota of Elizabeth City stood out as the place to buy. When I arrived in town 2 weeks after making the deal online the vehicle was waiting at the front door, clean and ready to go, at the appointed time. Great people to deal with and P.S. I have never said that about a car dealer.

    This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had at any type of business. With the most disrespectful, rude employees I have ever encountered. I returned to this dealership planning on going through with a deal that the sales person named Eddie and I had sat down with and discussed the day prior. No complaints there, like I said he sat down and provided me with all options and I returned the next day, after sleeping on it. However, this time they obviously did not want my business. Eddie, was not in, so I sat down with another available salesman. After telling them why I was there they insisted on running my credit after just having that done two days before or they would not be able to show me any prices. Which was a lie, since Eddie was able to provide me with all these numbers prior to my credit. Reluctantly, I let them run it again. After waiting an hour, they returned with some papers and prices for me which I saw was very different from the numbers discussed with Eddie. I made a phone call to a close family friend who has been helping me, and he told me the MSRP on their website said it was $2000.00 dollars less then the number they presented me with. While I was on this call a sales manager named "Curly" looks at me and asked "are you speaking to another car dealership"? And I said "no but he's very close" and this sales manager responds to me with "I don't do business like that, you should not be here. Go ahead and leave, we don't want your business". At this point I ask to speak with the GM, Aaron who I asked for when I first got there and didn't speak with him until this point. Unfortunately Aaron was busy getting screamed at by another unhappy customer. After that exchange was over, he came to me and started talking numbers as if we were still working on a deal?? I was simply going to tell him how unprofessional Curly the sales manager was and what just transpired. Then Curly comes outside where the GM and I are speaking, and I say "I don't need to speak with you. Nor do you have to be here" since this was a private conversation with the GM in regards to my experience there. And right there "Curley" responds to me "you can make me leave" with an aggressive attitude, as if we were about to be in a physical altercation. While the GM Arron just stands there with no response nor does he step in to say anything to defuse the situation. At that time I exited this dealership with a plan to never step foot back in there or allow anyone I know to go through an experience like this. I myself am a manager with many employees under me. At no point in my career would I ever allow a customer to experience the disrespect that I endured today or allow an employee to retain their job after something like that. I just hope this can help others avoid an encounter like this.

    I had a wonderful experience...James was perfect to work with and understood my needs and situation. He suggested a lease, which was something I would have never considered, but was perfect for my situation. I love my car. It has the perfect amount of amenities.

    I could not have asked for a better salesperson, Victoria. She was very patient and listened to what I wanted in a car. She didn't try to sell me something I wasn't interested in or want. Very personable. And getting financing was so easy. I wish every car buying experience could go as smoothly as this one did.

    went in to try to get a used car and was giving the run around.Iwas told i could get a car with no down payment over the phone get there then it's a hold different story.When i did come up with the down payment they still would not work with me.Stop giving people false hope when you know you are NOT going to work with them.
