Over all this was our best experience buying new car. And out of all dealerships around town we had the best experience. Our sales guy would get 11 out... of 10 if available. Our buying process (as explained by the sales guy) was - sale person (to sell us a vehicle) - preparation manager (to customize the vehicle) - finance manager (to finance the vehicle) Like I mentioned before our sales person John S. get 11 out of 10 for doing his part. Very friendly, knowledgeable and what I appreciated the most he didn't try to up sell anything. He explained different options and recommended the cheapest option to match our needs. The finance guy was ok, but was late and everyone just wanted yo get home. No complains there. But the preparation part get big 0. it wasn't even the right person there to begin with. And all he tried (fortunately didn't try very hard) to sell us was 1000+ dollars of glorified car wax (no thank you). Just to be clear we were buying RAM 1500 V8. I was expecting to be offered options like bed liner, Nerf bars, bed covers or some other upgrades for a pickup truck. After the interrogation he finally mention that those upgrades are avaailable but we should still try talk to the right preparation manager next day or so or use cheaper 3rd party option. We got our liner and cover from 3rd party as it was much cheaper after all. But what we were really interested to upgrade were wheels and tires. But he wasn't right person to talk to. So we finalized the deal. Starting the next day I wanted to get a hold of the right person in preparation department. After about a week or so of struggles I decided to bother our sales guy 1 more time. He did what he could. 1 hour later we got call from the right guy. We actually met with him as we were picking up the title. I explained what we were looking for. Texted him some some pictures next morning. He said he will come back to us with prices next day. Week later after several text messages, he came with shocking options. It would only cost 2865 for 20 inch upgrade or 2965 for 22 inch upgrade. And the most shocking part was when I asked about the old set. He suggested to keep it as spare or sell it on craigslist or offer up or other site like that. Seriously? And for RAMs black appearance group list several upgrades including wheels and tires for around 1500 or other much large black group for 2700. Including wheels and tires upgrade, excluding the original set. I was so hesitant to write this review just because of the great experience with our sales guy. I just had to, seeing other trucks out there with wheels we could have.
I would recomend Billy to anyone shopping for a new or used vehicle! He is very knowledgeable on the vehicles and the whole process making the whole experience... great!
In too big of hurry and backed into a concrete light pole destroying my bumper and built-in trailer hitch. Stopped by Landmark Dodge because it is where... I get my service done. Went in and met body shop manager Brad Wood. He immediately came out and crawled around under my car on the hot asphalt identified what was needed. Walked me back in and ordered the parts while I was standing there and told me to come back next day. I dropped my truck off that morning and they had it done in half a day . Unfortunately I have been to numerous body shops in my day. This one is by far the best, most reasonable and friendliest one I have ever dealt with. Brad is a first class dude. I have never met know one that new so much about the cars he was selling he was like a car encyclopedia he new the inventory like the back of his hand... and showed me a truck I told him i was looking for. If you go to landmark i would definitely ask for Jimmy great guy
I stopped by Landmark to check out a car I found online. I was just beginning my car search but was quite interested in the vechile I stopped to look at.... I stopped in on a Friday afternoon and went back to the dealership on Monday after getting a check from my bank to pick up my new car. Things went smoother than I ever expected. Billy was great to work with. When I’m ready to purchase again I will be going back to Landmark.
These guys used to be pushy and rude but they seem to have gotten their act together and treat people like customers rather than cattle now. Our salesman... was friendly and they made a quick deal to get us out the door promptly. I’m happy with them. K
Had one of those flyers with the key. Daughter wanted to go in and see what it was all about. I already knew I wouldn't be able to get financing, but... looking at the possible vehicle options (SUV), I was hopeful because JR persuaded me that getting a newer vehicle from them would help my score. First, it was the what would work for you pitch, which could have been great but the price was still alittle too high I think. He goes to work for me (yeah right) and comes back saying that I need to come out of pocket with a few grand. Of course, I expected that but my diappointment came when I realized that customer satisfaction was not in play and my business was not even worth fighting for. Once it was confirmed that I didn't have that kind of money readily available then I was hastily dismissed and had the nerve to ask if he could follow up in a month. You didn't have my back then, why would I give you another chance. Veterans - our service is only worth a $500 discount.
Disappointed and absolutely infuriating. That is the only way I can describe my interactions with the dealership. I shopped for vehicles for about 30-45... days as I wanted to purchase a 2017 leftover or a new 2018 Ram 3500 at the beginning of the year when I found the truck that I thought was perfect (yes I still think it is a great vehicle and highly recommend purchasing one from anybody but Landmark Dodge). I ensured I was preapproved with multiple banks so I could purchase the truck and not waste unnecessary time at the dealership. I set up an appointment for that evening and called 90 minutes prior to my arrival to ensure the vehicle was ready for the test drive and purchase. I filled out the trade estimator on their website and was satisfied with the numbers it crunched. Upon arrival to the dealership, the truck was out on another test drive! Safe to say I was upset about it but the manager, Steve, said its okay I am sure we will have another truck that fits your needs. I walked the lot with Brett Cox and there wasn’t anything else there. OVER AN HOUR LATER, the truck returned and fortunately wasn’t purchased by the gentleman test driving it. I took it for a test drive and liked the truck so Brett and I went back inside to begin negotiations. From the get go, I was low balled by over $4,000 from the trade estimator on their website! When I asked why, the answer was a simple “There is no way we’d give you that much for your trade in even though it is in great condition, we simply couldn’t afford to do it!” After spending the next 2-3 hours going back and forth with the Steve (Sales Manager), Brett (salesman), and the owner, I finally decided to take $2,500 less for the trade in as I didn’t have time to continue negotiating as it was past 8 and I didn’t want to get home after midnight as I still had the finance manager to talk with. Prior to talking to the finance manager, I had to speak with the “warranty guy” which took another 30 minutes to explain how wonderful it is to spray the bottom of the vehicle for only another $1,000. I finally made it to the finance manager who continued trying to sell me more things I didn’t want instead of just running the paperwork. We finally closed the deal, but all the service guys were already sent home, because why pay someone a little over time when the customer is buying a 55K vehicle, therefore none of the fluids were topped off and it wasn’t even cleaned! After spending over 4 hours at the dealership, it was finally over, or so I thought. Over three weeks goes by and I still didn’t receive my check that I was told should arrive in two weeks. Martin (finance manager) from dealership called me and asked if they could overnight me a Power of Attorney so they can get the title. I said yes, but I would like the check included as I am trying to get my registration redone. Martin said, yes. Once I received the package, the check wasn’t in it. I spent the next 4 days trying to get a hold of Martin or Brett to no avail. I get a phone call from Martin asking if I received the package and when I would send it back. I told him I did receive it but the check was missing. All of a sudden, he couldn’t send the check without the POA being signed first, but not to worry because I will get it with the rest of the paperwork once he receives the POA. I explained how frustrated and disappointing this entire experience has been and he referred me to the Sales Manager to discuss. Steve called me and constantly explained how the dealership has done nothing wrong while consistently talking down to me. He even stated, “You will not get the check until we get the POA.” As if I am the person that has constantly lied, manipulated, and ignored the dealership. Unbelievable. The only good thing I can say about the dealership is they are cheap (clearly as they do not value the customer service or experience). Spend the extra $200-500 and go someplace else.
Went to see a Dodge that I was emailed was still available that morning and when I went to the dealership I was notified they sold if a week before so... they showed me something similar and told me it was $13,599 (which was OVER my budget) then I got onto there website to see its listings as $2100 LESS THAN what I was almost sold!
I found a 2001 Ford Ranger on line and it was at Landmark Dodge on Noland Rd. The salesman Chris, was very helpful not pushy and helped me in making... a good deal that met my financial needs in order to make the deal work. It took a little longer to seal the deal than I would have liked but at the time they were a little short of help. All in all it was a good experience and I was able to drive away in the truck that best suited my needs.
