    We live in Kansas, but in order to find the car we wanted had to drive to Independence, Mo. Our salesman, Don, was courteous, personable, not pushy and was very informative on the vehicle we were buying. The price was very fair, so we did not have to negotiate. We could not have asked for a better salesman or smooth transaction! They are cleaning the car and also taking it to OUR mechanic to have it checked out for us! Then our mechanic will report to us. This is a great service that I have never heard of any other dealer doing for their customers. We will definitely recommend Landmark Dodge to others!

    This appears to be a dealership on its last legs. They don't seem to know which cars they have and which they don't. Each contact gets a different answer, and calls don't get returned. Car still listed almost a week after they said it was sold. Trying to deal with them is a waste of time.

    I have purchased 2 trucks a car and even a camper from landmark. Every time I have purchased a vehicle from them everyone I dealt with was very nice and helped me with everything I need and worked their butts off to get me the lowest rate possible. I will continue buying all of my vehicles from landmark.

    I recently went to Landmark in search for a used vehicle. The one I found appeared to be in good shape, with around 100k miles. I traded in my 2013 Volvo, for this "cheaper" $9000 Chevy Cruze. (Big mistake.) I was looking to have lower payments, thus my reason for downgrading. As soon as I signed the paperwork, issues started to occur. Before I bought it, I asked if it was able to pass inspection. They replied saying that they are not allowed to sell me a car unless it is. I took there word, and when I got home I noticed that there were no wiper blades on the car. They were completely shot. Seeing as I have no warranty on the car, I was able to take it back and they replaced them. It took TWO HOURS for them to replace the wiper blades. The car currently is leaking coolant, and at a pretty fast rate. The car has almost died on me a few times while at a stop light, the transmission shifts poorly, and I didn't receive my title until a month after I bought the car. Every time I tried to contact the sales manager, It went straight to voice mail, which I never received a reply. Just over all not a fun experience. And now I have to spend hundreds in getting my car fixed, when I traded in a perfect one. Would not recommend a used vehicle from here!!!

    Up front, sorry for the long post.....hope you make it through to the end. It's uncommon for me to write negative reviews, but this ate at my Wife and I for days. I hope I can help somebody avoid deception. Start out with the online advertised price. MSRP-Rebate-discount=DECEPTION. They remove the $1095 destination charge from the advertised MSRP, but still include it in the advertised sticker/MSRP price. So, when you start to deal, automatically add $1095 to the advertised price. (THAT'S ALREADY LISTED IN THE MSRP!) There is a very broad disclaimer about "taxes, fees, and other options" may be added to final price, but it's expected to add taxes, administrative paperwork, etc. NOT double entries of something already listed on the MSRP! Secondly, we went in with our own pre-approved financing. The salesman "Dennis" wanted us to give their financing a shot. I stated clearly and more than once that we would agree to allow them a shot AFTER we reached a deal, and IF they could obtain a better interest rate. Much haggling ensued, and they refused to budge off of the deceptive advertised price. Dennis stated the only negotiable price is on the trade in. Fine, I don't care as long as I'm happy with the final deal. They were asking too much for the 5k+ mile employee/business "like new" but new demo, I don't care which end it comes from. We agreed on price, Dennis collected a $100 cash title deposit, had my wife fill out a credit app, and stated he was going up to finalize the paperwork and work out the details. (We were having dealer installed options included) My Wife and I were sitting for about 10-15 minutes discussing whether we would pick it up that day, or just leave it until the repairs and dealer options were installed. We were approached by Dennis, the Sales Manager, and somebody else. The Sales Manager started fast talking numbers (that in 3 attempts he couldn't get to add up). At the end he stated that he couldn't honor the deal, which he is stating was never more than an offer. At the same time he's telling me this, one of the other 2 was telling my wife that her financing was approved. WHAT???? They are now claiming there was no deal, they had to run my Wife's credit to see if they could do the deal. WHAT??? But, you're claiming to be still in the haggling stage? DECEPTION. At this time the owner "Doug" inserts himself into the conversation, actually sides with me about the unnecessary running of credit, and is trying to change the numbers to add 2k more to the dealership. After multiple attempts to leave, he had it down to 1K more to them. Look, we can either make a deal or not. You want more than I'm willing to pay? No problem, no hard feelings here. That's all part of the process. You want to play games, not honor my terms, tell me your finalizing paperwork and running credit, lie about the dealership spending hundreds of dollars activating NAV on the car to make the deal look better, then tell me there was never a deal? DECEPTION! GPS NAV is standard equipment on the model we were trying to buy. DECEPTION! The whole WWF tag team fiasco at the end was pathetic. I will never step foot on a Landmark property again. We went elsewhere and ended up getting a better deal and were treated with respect. These dealer Demo cars are something else. I traded in a 5k car once that I didn't like after 6 months and took a HUGE hit. These dealers can drive these cars for months and up to 7k miles, and still expect near sticker price with a nominal discount? I don't hold that against this dealership, they all do it.....but that practice should change!

    This was my first time buying a car and needing to finance a portion of it. Everyone I worked with, mainly John Link, were very patient and friendly and allowed me to make my own decisions, I didn't feel pushed at all! They seemed to really care about the quality of car I was receiving and helped me through the buying process without any issues or pushing unnecessary add ons at me. I appreciated their professionalism and overall attitude and help in a very frustrating time for me. I plan to return here for my next vehicle.
