    I had a great experience buying a car this month. The negotiation was fair. I had some competitive quotes that Lakshman was able to work with and compete. He was able to be among the lowest and everything was handled in a patient and cooperative manner. The pickup was quick and clean with him explaining all the features of the car and their use. No sales pressure or add on's with all the costs spelled out clearly. All in all a smooth transaction and a trust that Laksham and the Stolhman staff work in with an honest integrity. I would recommend him and the dealership to anyone in the market.

    My husband and I were helping my daughter by her first car. Keilan, the used car manager, worked with us to fit my daughter's budget. Randy helped us with the paperwork, and he explained in detail what we needed to do to register the car since we do not live in Virginia. Sam completed all the financial quickly and efficiently. Overall the entire process was quick and easy. Everyone we dealt with were very personable, friendly, and helpful.

    We purchased our vehicle from this dealership on the 31st of December, we waited five hours to sign for our 2015 Subaru Legacy. Our sales person seemed to have no idea what he was doing and the manager seemed scatter brained. The entire purchasing process was a pain from the beginning, we should have taken that as a notion to leave. About two months later we were on a road trip and had some electrical issues with the car, luckily its a certified car and so we took it to the closest Subaru dealership in North Carolina, they told us we needed a new Caliper. So i called Stohlman Subaru, they told us they would replace it no issues. We dropped the car off, we provided the documentation from the previous dealership stating the issue code and part number needed Tom told us they would fix it. We left the car with them for six days, in those six days i called twice, the first time i was told they were also fixing the emergency break because it was bad, then i called and they told me they were driving it around and couldn't find an issue. When we finally got the call saying it was ready for pick up Tom told us all they had done was reset the car. Six days and all you did was reset the car. Upon arriving to pick up the car, an EXCESSIVE amount of miles had been put on the car, and Tom had miraculously gone home, even though he was the manager dealing with our issues. Jay had no idea what they had even done to the car. Nobody could give us a valid reason as to why they hadn't put the Caliper in the car like we had already been told was going to be fixed as well as where the emergency break claim had come in. How do you screw up not once, but twice?

    We are sorry to hear your service visit did not meet your expectations. As a franchised dealer it is our responsibility to ensure your car is fixed correctly the first time. While you mentioned the NC dealer had diagnosed a caliper was the issue behind your concern, as the dealer actually performing the repair we still have to verify the same corrective action. The last thing we would want is to put a caliper on the car and have that not fix your concern. Our lead technician, a Subaru Master Certified Technician, was unable to reach the same conclusion and could not reproduce the problem. For that reason - and knowing you were traveling from out of town, we made various attempts at driving the car under varying circumstances to reproduce the issue you were concerned with. Those tests were performed over a series of days and times, thus the lengthiness of the stay. Your concern could not be reproduced while we had the car. At that time the system was reset and the car continued to operate normally. We take all of our clients' concerns very seriously and we apologize you spent so much time here during your purchase. Thank you for your feedback. We will use it to enhance our client care in the future.

    This was my wife and I's first car buying experience. We went into it expecting a stereotypical nightmare in which outgoing, pushy salesmen would try to get us to buy a car we didn't want or need and that it would take forever to find a vehicle that we were happy with. These assumptions could not have been further from the truth. Randy, David, and Keilan were friendly, not at all pushy, and offered excellent advice that informed us about the car buying experience and made us much more confident in our purchase. We did not feel rushed in our search, but once we had chosen a vehicle these men worked efficiently to produce the necessary paperwork for the transaction; once we had picked our car we were driving away with it within an hour and a half! We could not be happier with our new car, and the experience we had in finding it. We highly recommend this dealership.
