    Long story short, Brookdale Honda replaced my rear brake pads and rotors back in Feb 2016. Less than 4 months and 5600 miles later, the rear right pads are worn out. Brake pads usually last up to 30,000 miles so this sounds fishy to me. They claim the pads were defective but why is it only the rear right that's defective and not the rear left? They told me I had to pay $217 for labor although the pads would be covered under warranty. I should had checked my receipt then but only found out recently that they charged $84.77 for the aftermarket pads. I went on Brookdale Honda's website and saw that they only charge $87.11 for the OEM Honda pads (Part# 43022-SV4-G22 or 43022-S84-A50). The issue here is that they originally quoted me less if I went with aftermarket pads instead of OEM pads. How can anyone trust a shop like this? Finding an honest and trustworthy shop is hard enough, I just want my review out there so others know to stay away from places like these. Sure, if they change their mind and not charge me for labor I'll be more than happy to update my review. 1. Please enlighten me on how this is fair when the brake pads were parts Brookdale Honda selected, not me. For all I know, they could had bought $20 brake pads and charged me $87. 2. Brake pads and rotors were originally changed by Brookdale Honda on Feb 15, 2016. On Feb 25, 2016, had to take it back in because rear brakes were causing wheel vibration, noise, and causing the wheels to reach abnormally high temperatures. Re-lubricating brakes helped this go away. Why enough lubricant wasn't used in the first place shows that installation of the brake pads and rotors was not properly completed. 3. Less than 5,600 miles later and the rear right brake pads are scraping the rotor. Brake inspection from today shows that caliper is not at fault, therefore the brake pads reached pre-mature wear due to other reasons. If brake pads are defective then why isn't the rear left scraping my rotors? Summary of previous receipts: 2016-02-13 @ 140,791 miles Perform brake inspection. Your brake pads have been inspected and found to be in fair condition. The lining is between 4mm-5mm (disc) and 1mm-2mm (drum). The rear brake pads are worn to 3mm. Recommend rear pads and rotors. Advised customer of repairs needed on their vehicle. Needs rear brake pads and rotors. The customer has been given an estimate of $532.15. The customer declines at this time. 2016-02-15 140,878 miles Replace brake pads/replace brake rotors/rear. Please use aftermarket parts. Rear pads and rotors. Replaced rear pads and rotors. Rotors replaced $54.72 (Qty: 2) Pads replaced $87.44 (Qty: 1 set) 2016-02-25 @141,445 miles Perform brake inspection. Had brakes done and now rear driver side is grinding and making wheels hot. Cleaned and lubricated the braking components. Took it on a test drive and all is operating per design at this time. Advised customer to come back in if other issues continue. 2016-06-07 @ 146,389 miles Checked all braking components. There were no seized calipers, no stuck slide pins, and the caliper pistons are operating per design. Aftermarket brake pads would be covered by warranty. Recommend replacement of the rear pads with the resurface of the rotors. Also recommend performing a brake flush to ensure all air is out of the braking system. Customer declined work today.

    After I bought my brand new Honda CRV-EXL I had questions. My sales person had excuses why he did not reply for over a week or more. When I got upset left message with customer seevice he called back up set and still had no answer. Now my backup camera is not working right. I contacted my salesman again and I waited all week and even waited past memorial weekend. Another week later still no reply. So I contacted another Honda dealer they called me back within 30 minutes asked the problem said it is under warranty as I inquired from Brookdale and got no help. The other dealer transferred my call to seevice made an appointment. I am so disappointed.

    I requested an on line quote on a 2016 Honda Accord and got an almost immediate reply with a very competitive offer. I liked the up front approach taken with the offer.The offer was significantly lower than the No haggle Walser dealer in the Twin Cities area. The follow up was appropriate without being stalking. I ended up purchasing from my local Honda dealer who priced matched and wasn't a 100 miles further away. I almost felt guilty about not purchasing from Brookdale as the on line process was so smooth. I don't usually do reviews , however this was a very pleasant experience. I will be contacting this dealership again in the future for my next vehicle purchase.

    We actually got a fantastic vehicle from them, however the entire process was a COMPLETE disaster. I started communicating with them online and when we went to meet the sales guy at the time he said worked for him (Chris) he was not even there. So we went with a different sales guy (Victor) who was great at first. We test drove a vehicle and said we’d think it over and get back to him. I emailed him a few days later, negotiated a deal and went to go sign the papers. We met with him, got everything figured out and then went back to meet with the finance guy, only to find out they were selling us the wrong vehicle as they mixed us up with another couple! After some more negotiations we moved ahead with the correct vehicle, however the finance guy (Kevin) did not seem to have a friendly bone in his body. Every other time I have bought a car I’ve been able to discuss/negotiate financing & interest rates but he did not do that, only said we could refinance once our first bill came. So, we went ahead with it and now are trying to refinance, however they screwed something up with the title and now, 2 months later, we still do not have the title and it will take 6 weeks for us to get it. I’ve been very disappointed in the entire process as no one has seemed to care about any of the mistakes they have made. If you want a friendly, easy car buying experience, DO NOT go to Luther Brookdale Honda!

    We regularly use Brookdale Honda for repairs. We had a problem with our hybrid battery. They diagnosed and replaced the battery in a timely way. They recommended some service that we had not had done recently. Their loaner car service was swift and easy to use. We will continue to use them for our service and repair on our two Hondas.

    I took my Pilot into Brookdale Honda for recall work. The technician was able to complete all of the recall items, some of which pertained to some issues I was having with my car, and all costs were covered under an array of recall warranty. In addition, I saved labor costs by having them replace my timing belt at 120,000 miles, something I had wanted to do, because they were already performing the recall work. They provided me with a free loaner for the entire time the car was being fixed.

    I bought my Fit at Brookdale Honda in 2008 and have brought it there for all maintenance. The employees have always been VERY friendly and helpful! I love the new facility because I can be online to work as I wait. The quality of their care is evident in my car - 175,000 miles and going strong! Thank you, Amanda, for taking care of my last visit. :o)
