The contact person I spoke to, Cesar Cruz, lied to me and said the car I was interested in was sold. I called and my friend called and was told the car was available for sale.
Toyota of Lincoln Park is a terrible dealer and the salesmen all lie and do not care about real business
Avoid
They add on extra costs of LoJack and a Protective coat which adds costs that you don’t want. I also bought an extended warranty and they failed to disclose the mileage cap and only sold years. They are bait and switch. I would stay away
Scammers - Forcing buyer to buy overpriced package
Scamming customers by forcing customers to buy useless and worthless overpriced dealer installed packages. Probably cost them $300 install these useless packages and they force you to pay $5000. Avoid.
Bad dealer
Added 5000 to auto trader price. Terrible bait and switch. do not trust anything from them. Really makes Toyota look bad. Avoid them for sure.
Galina best salesperson
Extremely satisfied with the customer service. Galina walked us through all steps in the purchasing process; the day we got our car was quick, smooth and enjoyable. Will definitely recommend! She is the best
Good customer service
I Stop by and spoke with sale associate Troy Bell. He gave wonderful advice on newer models.. I want to purchase a car for my daughter. He gave excellent pointer on which way to go. I will be back in the near future.
Buyer beware: You expect to be taken advantage of when
Buyer beware: You expect to be taken advantage of when dealing with car dealerships and this location is no different. Immediately after my first visit, regret seeped in as advertised pricing was not honored and the old bag of tricks and opaque pricing took over. I reluctantly exceeded my budget on a car lease due to my time sensitive transportation needs and the low supply of vehicles caused by the chip shortage just underway at the time. For such an expensive transaction, it would be enough to leave with a bad taste in your mouth. But on top of this, the sales rep botched the title registration which left me in possession of a vehicle with expired temp plates which you cannot legally drive or park, as I found out with $300 in tickets for parking on the street outside my place. The sales rep said he’d reimburse me for this which was a nice and very fair gesture had he followed up on this promise. In fact, he never even responded to my follow up messages and neither did his manager in the sales office. Absolutely zero accountability. And the handful of questions I had for the sales rep after driving off the lot were simply never answered. No “I’m not sure” or “I believe it works this way”. Nothing. Since leaving the dealership the very first day, I’ve been looking forward to returning this vehicle and never dealing with Toyota again.
Known problems but still selling
I also don’t usually leave reviews but the experience has not settled well with me. I went to buy a used car from here. Long story short, the car had signs of serious frond end problems that is in the thousands to fix. The tires in the front were worn on the sides. When I pointed this out they also said it looks like front end problems. Since then they have dropped the price on the car but do not report known problems. I’m a single mom trying to find a safe car, they also knew this. I don’t know much about cars so if I figured this out ( sent pics to my mechanic to confirm) then they knew about this before they were trying to sell the car to me.
A Wrong Made Right!
I'm not a review person, but my experiences with Toyota of Lincoln Park have driven me to the extremes. A short time ago, I felt obligated to post a terrible review due to a very bad experience (in short, we bought a lemon). After reading our review, the general manager, Derek, responded in a way compelling me to leave a review highlighting the positive aspects of Toyota of Lincoln Park. Although our experience is not one, we would like to repeat, Derek and our salesperson, Dustin, did everything they could to rectify the problem, offering a trade-in. I say this wholeheartedly and we cannot expect anything more than this.
